If they dont show up today, they are out of the tourney.

This is austria.  Germany should kill them.  But stranger things have happened.  It will be scary if it is late in the game and it is scoreless, because Germany advances with a draw - but even then Austria will have to push everyone up and will get beat on a counterattack.

Like I said - I hate laying -232, I rarely do it, but feel like if they played this game 10 times Germany would win 8 of them and draw 2, and lose 1 out of 100.

    Now watch them lose....

Mario Gomez is a German Under-21 international who also holds a Spanish passport. He has represented his country at all youth levels from Under-17 upwards and is a player his club rate highly and believe can be a force in the Bundesliga as he gains more experience. Stuttgart showed their faith in his ability in February 2006 by extending his contract until the end of the 2011 season. Gomez is a skilful, tricky player who is fully of fancy flicks and often looks to try the unexpected. He has been a regular scorer in the reserves and netted 15 times in 24 outings in 2004/5, earning a promotion to the first team for the start of the following season. Stuttgart often use him off the bench and his Bundesliga tally of six goals in 30 games in 2005/6 looks a little more impressive if you factor in that 23 of those appearances came as a substitute. In total playing time, he actually played the equivalent of 11 and a half full games. Gomez made a very impressive start to the 2006/7 season, scoring in three successive Bundesliga games and adding two assists, as he looked to make a regular starting place his own. The 06/07 season saw the German international succeed in becoming the clubs joint top scorer with fellow striker Jeronimo Cacau, which incidentally aided Stuttgart to become Bundesliga champions. With 13 goals in only appearances he was sure to gain the title of Stuttgart's most consistent striker. As well as his incredible season at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion he appeared four times for his country.

if this is scoreless at the half, I am going to get really worried about Germany laying back and playing for a draw.  F Gomez!
