Denmark forced contaception on thousands of Greenland Inuit girls..

 Danish physicians forced contraception onto thousands of Greenlandic Inuit women and girls, often as young as 12 years old, by placing intrauterine devices (IUDs) in them without consent, under the direction of the Danish government.

 Aki-Matilda Høegh-Dam, a Siumut member of the Folketing (Danish parliament) called the campaign genocide.

Half of the 9,000 women in Greenland who could have children were given IUDs in the first five years of the program; some of the affected girls were as young as 12, and in many cases, women (and in the case of girls, their parents) did not consent to the procedure

And yet they prefer us - this is actually the biggest “own” - and I wouldn’t highlight it if I were you - but ok whatever I already know you guys are losers - but maybe for your own self-esteem then We have treated them like shit for 100s of years - it was basically only improved after the 90’s ! The last 10 years or so we have investigated our role in this (which is the only reason you know about it) and as you so nicely lay out - they also have direct influence and representation in our government - I don’t know the rules over there how many native Americans, Haitians etc. are represented in senate etc. by a rule of law ?

Wasn’t there also something called “Manifest Destiny” - and slavery over there - maybe you should care more about your own countries history and why your country try to deliberately remove that as it had never existed - instead of focusing on a countries history - you probably can’t even find on a map - a country which history you know - because they are in the process of documenting and investigating what role they had in said history 

The forced contraception of Indigenous women and girls was part of centuries of Danish policies that dehumanized Greenlanders and their families.

The policies included the removal of young Inuit children from their parents ( this is horrible) to be given to Danish foster families for reeducation and controversial parental competency tests that resulted in the forced separation of Greenlandic families.

Denmark is playing with playmoney - we are 6 million people - we own some of the biggest logistics companies in the world - some of the biggest wind turbine companies - one of the biggest pharmaceutical company in the world - the biggest toy company in the world - we are have some of the highest tourist numbers in the world etc. we “stole” Greenland when we gave Norway its independence - if we wanted Greenland and Iceland etc. it would have been stupid to give them their independence from Denmark - there are no international laws that said we couldn’t keep them - and that we give them the same rights we have is our own choice 

We were awful against them for the same reason all conquers are evil against the native population - so they are easier to control and influence ! That approach have been the same for the Spaniards, the English, the American settlers and yes also the Danes - but I would again advice you to read your own history before pointing fingers - because not only have you done similar things - you also don’t admit and try to better what your ancestors did - you are the same racist fucks you have always been

Btw the reason we don’t give them more than this and we have postponed the apologising bit - has very little to do with Greenland actually - but if you think what we have done to Greenlanders and Icelanders are bad - don’t look into what we did to England, France, Norway, Sweden etc. or the Samis - our history ain’t pretty mate - and we have oppressed people no matter skin colour or religion - we did it just for fun and money  - and how far back should we go (because this open a Pandora’s box) none of the people doing this to the Greenlanders are still alive - so it doesn’t serve a higher purpose that Mette appologises nor that they get money ! The ONLY reason Greenlanders choose us over you is because we are better than you in every way - and we treat them ok now - so highlighting how we have been as overlords serves no purpose - everyone but you guys knew and have known for ages

Annexing Greenland has been on a list in the USA for a very long time, Trump saw that list & is trying to Con Everyone into believing it was his idea! It’s been on the “to do list” in the USA Military publicly talked about by Generals for decades & our Media for over 50 years has said the Military wants Greenland.
