WOW I can't believe this.. The Capitals go to Townsville and get the upset win yet cannot beat the league's worst team 2 nights ago. Amazing stuff. They miss out on a post-season literally by a few seconds..

Haha, crazy stuff.. I was keen on the fire as mentioned but was keeping watch on that early game and the netball and passed in the end as the line had inflated to -9.5 by game time.. 

Hope Bendigo's win tonight and the Lynx result pushes the line in a little.. -5.5 might tempt

Yeah not liking the Sportsbet line of -7.5 for Lynx tomorrow.. Seems a bit crazy and hopefully that line does move down like you said after Bendigo's win tonight and Perth's loss.

Jive, i just read on another forum that the WNBL this season are doing 3 game series for the finals? Is that right?

Down to -4.5.. Now thats interesting.. Motivation 100% on their side for this game to grab home court semi-final vs Rangers and that would be nice to add some revenge in there as well after last nights embarrassment by the Rangers..

Hoping that Lynx kind of mailed it in last night when they got down big early. If last night was a reflection of a full effort not sure I can trust them today.

Just looking at the box score from last night Rod and I think they did kind of mail it in as their starters didn't exceed more than 30 mins compared to the Spirit girls who 4 out of 5 players 34+ mins in a win vs Boomers..

Perth Lynx @ Bendigo Spirit: Lynx -4.5

I just have to take Perth in this game. They were bad last night but they haven't lost back to back games all season long, Whitcomb shot just 29% last night. Expect her to bounce back. The Lynx win today, they claim 2nd spot which is so important for the finals series. Bendigo hasn't beaten a top 4 side since 10th December when they beat Sydney in Sydney. Spirit players played some big mins last night compared to the Lynx girls but I think this is time when you see Mijovic and Whitcomb show up.

I stuck the Lynx in a 'mug special' ML double with Adelaide in the netball at a tick over even money.. first leg is in the books so going to get greedy now and take Bendigo +6 and hope for middle

All i can say is that the coaching staff for Perth can blame themselves for that loss.. Lynx come out firing 2H, took a nice 56-44 lead with 5 remaining and then they allow a 11-0 run before calling a timeout? I don't get it. Why not call a TO after a 6-0 run in such an important game? So from that 56-44 scoreline, the Spirit went on a 29-16 run to win the game.. So now Perth plays Rangers in Dandenong next weekend to start the series and Townsville travels to Sydney..

Very costly road trip for the Lynx. They looked to have secured a home semi-final series now have to win it on the road. Looks unlikely now

Very costly Rod but not over yet. They definitely have the potential to steal a game on the road vs Dandy thats for sure but the Flames are clear cut fav's now to win it this year but I still like Townsville as they have the girls to win it especially with Batkovic.

Not sure.. I don't like their chances in Perth. Perth so dominate at home. They really are and why not go hard tonight and get some extra rest before playing either 36ers or Hawks

Cairns Taipans @ Perth Wildcats: Wildcats -5.5

Completely believe Fearne is out of his depth in this game. He won't know how to change this teams game plan around after a 20+ point home flogging.. Cotton and Prather playing crazy right now and Martin being the little terrier he is. Jawai returns to Perth to play his old team but Gleeson and the Cats know how to put him into foul trouble which Jawai gets into a lot.. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get 2 quick fouls and sit early on. Gotta take the Cats at home on a Monday night in what could be a great game to win and get some extra rest before facing off against 36ers or Hawks.

Taipans have played 2 strange games in Perth this season. Actually should have won both games only to lose SU and ATS in OT
