Hi Brew,
I will most likely be playing the majority of these games as well. I just need to find out who is in the starting line-up though because I think Josh Boone is out with an injury and he is a key element. Ben Simmons would surely want to put on a show against Melbourne as well so little sceptical in taking United in this game.

Ok, so now we have the quarters finals which start tomorrow night.
Nigeria vs USA
China vs Australia
Belgium vs France
Canada vs Spain
So rumours have it that the Spanish tanked that game vs Belgium the other night to avoid playing the USA in the next phase. Smart if you ask me, because the winner of France/Belgium goes onto play the USA in the semi's whilst the winner of Canada/Spain plays the winner of Australia/China. Meaning that if Spain can beat the Canadians and also Australia or China, they will get to the final and play the USA then. Much better run for them to do it that way rather than meet USA in the semi's. Either way, the Spanish still has to play Canada which isn't an easy team as well as Australia hopefully so no matter what, its a tough ask to reach the final either way.

Although I hate to bet against the home nation in international tournaments, my lean would be Canada. Spain seems to have difficulties getting points on the scoreboard and they have too many unforced tunovers. And also IMHO the home crowd on the Canary Islands is not too much of a factor. I guess it would be a different story if the games were played in Madrid or Seville for example. To make a long story short, I will probably take my chances with Canada as a dog. Canada with more rest and one game less played is also a plus.

Hello Aussie my bet is going Italy lost but USA won with Russia today they should win the whole tourney they are in great form.I had a car Seat Ibiza in the past I am from Europe for me is better to write in German but ok.Warriors-Lakers 4.83 this odds will be around 3.0 before the game I take it now.I think we will see USA-Australia in the finals ,Australia cover with China,Nigeria can cover 25spread and we have two dogs alive Canada and Belgium can be surprise in the quarterfinal

I should take alternative line Canada -3,5 with 2.96 odds they were down with France and won big ,Spain won with Senegal but with problems I think in sport to make a tourney are Germany in the best shape because they have a timing and feeling for that look at Spain they make championship not in Spain

Yeah mate, I wouldn't consider Tenerife to be a major home court advantage for Spain. When I looked last time, the Spanish were the in the bottom 3 for turnovers which is not going to win you a championship or even a semi final if they don't stop doing that. For me, the Canadians are playing with plenty of energy and confidence and being down 15 against France and then pulling out the win would have given them even more confidence. France look to be struggling against the taller teams so lets see how they go against the Canadians.

Germany. Very nice country mate. I have been several times and have very good memories of German especially the Bavarian region.. Neuschwanstein Castle has to be the most amazing castle I have ever seen in my life. Your English writing is very good. I am always amazed when people can write and talk in more than one language. Unfortunately, I can only speak English but I am one day hoping to learn Spanish because I just love the language.

Lets kick off the action...
USA vs Nigeria: Under 166.5
This total for me is too high. One, the Nigerians have to start feeling buggered after playing 4 games in just 7 days. Secondly, the Americans surely have to start playing some D? I think they can. Nigeria win and stay within games thanks to their offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points (mostly Akhator) but tonight she has a big ask against the USA girls who have played against her before in the WNBA and really know how to stop her. If you eliminate their 2nd chance points, then I don't see Nigeria scoring much. They are the 2nd worst 3 point shooting team in the WC and I don't see the scoring much over 50 points against the USA. Could be completely wrong but this game I think ends very similar to the USA vs Senegal score line of 87-67.

interesting double digit line Chogarz. I like the Australians in this game but its a big line to cover and considering the Aussies haven't played since beating Turkey with ease, I feel as though China might actually give the Aussies a good close competitive game. I would leave the Chinese to cover the line because the Aussies shot well last game from the 3 point line and I don't expect that against a good team like China. Should be a good game but personally think that line is a little to high.

Indeed great great call riding the under train here. Easily the best play on the Wolrd Championship so far as all 4 q went under smoothly. Glad I tailed and also added Nigera TT under, also on a side note team USA covered the spread on their last posession.
I think you will also have a play on the Australia/China game coming up? I would guess you take the over?

Cantwinemall - I have a feeling that this game might be a little deceiving with the total. China v Japan had a higher total yet the Aussies are much better offensively then Japan so why the total drop? Either the Aussies come out and smoke them and we see a blowout win and China stop scoring due to blowout or we see a Game which remains close and could go over or under

I think China might be underrated for some reason by the bookies. They covered all their three games so far, play very disciplined and have the potential to hang in there as you stated as well. Your Aussies put up 86, 84 and 90 in the group stage and are rested too. So I will take my chances with a small over play. Also I like the fact that the USA/Nigeria game just went brutally under. I know nothing to do with the following game, but just have a feeling the 2nd game turns into the opposite direction..

After being up by three after three, Canada starts the final q 0-19 going scoreless for over 8 minutes. I mean this ist just unreal. No words, just speechless. Never seen anything like this before.
Guess I will just tail the Aussie plays here for the remainder of the World Championship and move on to the NBA.
