Look at the odds of Volleyball world championship I think best value have Italy and USA they are now in eliminary round,Italy play with Serbia and then one day off with Poland.USA take Russia but they have clash with Brazil and without a break is USA on the program when you look at this schedule and this tourney I take my chance with Italy or USA to win this all,I miss here a forum off Volleyball hey Aussie make something

USA -31.5
Canada +3.5
Canada/France Over 134
Australia -12.5
Korea/Greece Under 137.5
Belgium/Spain Over 133.5

However only played Canada ML so far.

Great stuff fellas, glad we are discussing this WC. Its only a short World Cup with plenty of mediocre teams.

Rekkles - not too sure about the Serbian's and why they didn't qualify. Just guessing that they didn't do very well in the Eurobasket and they didn't qualify due to that. By memory, Latvia upset them I think and that's why they qualified.

Some of these games today are pretty ugly and not too sure yet what the plays will be. Canada worries me because I read an article before the cup that they didn't have a so called "go to player" that can be clutch and really steer them the right way. The French definitely have the players and experience to get them the win today. I think the French just coasted through the other night but I think we see a big game from them. Haven't decided yet on that game.

Let’s start tonight with an over. As usual, no one has any answers to stopping Cambage. I see her playing big mins so Australia finish top spot and get 2 days off. Last game vs Argentina went under because of Argentina’s lack of scoring. The Aussies are yet to hit the 90 mark on their first 2 games but I think the can tonight with Turkey doing the rest of scoring to get this game over.

That first quarter was the Aussies i like to see. Clinical and took advantage of the Turkish errors. Almost a perfect quarter from them. 

Onto the next games... capping now

great another hit, any news about Greece team? Korea odds went down very quickly before game.

Not too sure about injuries for Greece. Very hard to find that information. Not liking the next game either. Total seems high and not sure China should be -8.5 favs but the Senegalese are a hard team to cap as well. So no play on that game either for me

Going to call it a night fellas, nothing is sticking out to me in the remaining games. 

I do think the USA get put the Latvians away by 40+ but hey, can we really trust them to cover these massive lines? One last hit out for them before the playoffs.

Nigeria shouldn't be laying -14.5 to any country, Argentina are awful but coming off a big loss to the Aussies who can't be stopped when they have Cambage.

I would take Belgium vs Spain but Wauters apparently is pretty banged up. Without her, Belgium lose a good scorer and something they need against the Spanish.

Final game is a great game, Canada vs France. Total is sitting nicely at 134.5 which seems low but massive game for both teams, could see that game go under with whats at stake. 

Too many questions and scenarios running through my head right now, happy to stop the plays tonight and wait for the playoffs.

You know what... I am going to go with my gut feel..

USA vs Latvia: USA -30.5

Latvians are ranked 26th in the World, USA obviously 1st. Senegal and China got bigger lines (Senegal had +51.5, China had +32.5) yet they are higher ranked than Latvia. Griner and EDD both questionable apparently, back court (Loyd, Taurasi and Plum) have all been shooting around 30% combined. Stewart and Nneka doing great in the front court but something tells me blowout and I think its because of the high pace the Latvians play at. Up hill battle for Latvia, they have to win to stay in tournament which won't happen so I think we might see them give up during the game and the USA girls really take charge tonight before the playoffs where they will play either Greece (A3) or Nigeria/Turkey (B2)

Next round as well, the Aussies after claiming top spot will play the winner of D2/C3 which will be either China (2nd in Group D after win vs Senegal) or loser of Spain/Belgium. Either way, not a walk in the park for the Aussies especially if Belgium upset Spain.

Well, team USA just managed to cover 1 quarter after losing 12 straight quarters ATS.
Yet they do have a comfortable lead.

I guess we should take team USA 4th q ATS as Latvia should not have any motivation or energy left like Aussie suggested earlier.

The line is USA -6.5 (-34.5 full game)

The original line was -30...taking -34.5 is purely an ingame sucker wager at -EV....never take -EV wagers regardless how it looks during the game

You are probably right. Hope no one hopped on to that line.
Even my original bet which I bought down to -26.5 did not cover.
I guess I will stay away from team USA for the rest of the torunament, if anything I will take the over as team USA is too talented to be stopped on offense so they do not need to bother with defense.

There were some crazy Canada ML in-game odds.
Hope some of you guys cashed on that bigtime..

Agree Cantwinemall.. Up by 28 heading into final quarter, they shouldn’t have let Latvia score 26 points in last quarter. They aren’t playing D and relying on their offense. Won’t back them again this tournament..

Really surprised that China is such a small favorite vs Japan. Thought they would lay a few more points as they crushed Japan 105-73 in the group stage of the Asian Games recently.

Any ideas?

For the second game im leaning for another grind out similar to the game South Korea vs Greece we saw yesterday which ended 58-48 for Greece. The fact that neither Greece nor Nigera did have any rest does not make things better.

For the 3rd and 4th qualifier games no leans, except maybe that you would expect France and Spain (add homeocurt) to come out strong after their tough losses yesterday as they are by far the superior team.

Tournament: 4-1

Greece vs Nigeria: Nigeria +2.5

I love the passion and energy the Nigerians play with. Akhmatova is really taking on her leadership role. The big thing for me is how well they are making offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points. They aren’t going to hit too many 3 pointers but I also doubt Greece will either. This game I think is going to be an absolute grind em kind of game where I will always back the better rebounding team.

I can’t believe the Nigerians almost blew that. Up by 15 late in the 3Q, they didn’t score a point I think for almost 6 minutes. Turnovers, offensive fouls, they got real lucky at the end there. Now they face the USA

Aussie I was surprised with that line Nigeria only 2,5 so with USA the line hit around 25 you can take Nigeria.I hope for my Volleyball today Russia five setter with Brazil they are out of gas,I play Italy and USA to win it all odds are good for me 4.0 and 5.0,for the evening game Spain-Senegal best bet is under
