One observation I have after listening to large parts of the call today up in townsville is that whilst Heal has been talking a good talk it's pretty obvious now the Dragons are mailing in the remainder of the season. 0-6 ATS/SU in their last 6 starts pretty much says it all. Groves is obviously on the outer as well, after getting a starting position again today he was benched pretty quickly.
So looking ahead for Saturday the Dragons are on the B2b against the Bullets. to be honest I could lay 20 points with the Bullets and be comfortable at the moment especially with Sammy Mac back and the Bullets starting an important homestand before having to end their season on the road AND coming off 2 NY's losses last week.

Love Melb Tigers in tomorrow's spot. Like I posted a week ago when Syd won in OT Vs Breakers they simply had too much time off and not enough rythm for the game cosidering they had about two weeks off, that lay-off won't hurt when coming into the finals providing they hit their form which has lead them to top of the ladder.
Really love Melb, especially with the +4 and I'm even considering playing the ML. I really thought the +4 is a bit rich, but you have to take into consideration that Syd are the best team so far, I'm just not too sure this is the best spot for them.
This will be Melb's 4th game since Xmas and like I have mentioned before rythm and exposure in basketball I think are very important for capping games IMO. Look for Melb to get away to a good start as they really want this game especially as Bris are breathing up their arse, and also Syd have 2 games extra up their sleeve until the end of the year and might not be as concerned about dropping this game because they have only got 6 rounds to go before they will most likely finish on top.
Also love the Over in the Razor Backs Vs Breakers as long as the total isn't too high.

Miracle, you don't think that this is a statement game for the Kings...... I can't see them laying down against the Tigs. 
chris anstey sat out todays training session with back stiffness and a sore jaw but is expected to play.

There is no question that the Tigers are the most improved team since the All Star break, addition of Lampley has been their catyst and the fact that the Tigers want to sign him for 3 seasons which is unheard of in the NBL for an import shows how much Westover thinks of him. Add to the fact that Dave Thomas was injured in those previous meetings, today is really the best indicator as to who the championship favourites are. Tigers are the one team who can match the Kings' 10 man deep rotation as well.

Thanks Rod but simply my knowledge of the game isn't high enough, which is why I limit my postings, and due to the fact too many people (not so much here, but is other areas of the forum) post just shit and it's very difficult to sort through all the crap sometimes!
And Aussie Battler, I think this is more of a statement game for Melb than Syd. It's very had for coaches (and that's why their are very few great coaches) to keep 'all' players with their minds on the job, and subconciously the players for some reason let their guard down.
And like Scotty Palmer used to say 'keep punching' 
And hopefully I'll catch you in our friend comp within the NBA play-of-the-day thread in the coming weeks.
0-7 ATS/SU in the last 7 for Hammer's boys. That's nothing short of disgraceful.
