Hey guys first of all my respects to Mr Lippmann and any of his family and good friends in here.. because of his great work and integrity I hit classic examples of this like JS Giguerre and the Ducks vs the might Red Wings plus 250, the joke over hyped Sedin sisters vs my LA Kings in 2012 where they not only won game one plus 250 they swept those clowns to the Cup!
Yesterday I personally took all 3 and made $$$ .. don’t see why the Wild wasn’t a play and don’t they all look good today? Here’s to the best nicest cappers in sports!

I think Lipps system was predicated on likely hitting less than 50% game 1 wins, pushes, and double losses so he chose +120 as a chinning bar for built in margin when a Fave or 2 wins 1st 2 games.
I agree with you and i just play all the dogs rd 1 unless it's truly a pick'em.

Well road teams overall hit like 49% or you have to play 50 series for a favorite to have an edge in 7 games .. I’ve seen Stars blow plenty home games..and the Wild always show up on the road.. the Kings have too in Edmonton recently.. I remember 2014 vs Chicago it was road teams big game5,6,7

Split is not faring well again this year. 1-3 down 1.75 unit through 7 Game 1's. It only has success if you nail 30-40% of the Game 1's. Last few years, Home Faves have been crushing it in Round 1 Game 1 (and game 2) and this year, barring a Quacks win Game 1, it will be a tough uphill battle to profit.
If you ignore the rules and just play all dogs, Split is 3-4 for only -0.25 units on a 1 unit bet.

Yes it’s an interesting situation…love me a system, but tough to find a winning one, unless you are a bookmaker.
I’m not usually a huge playoff bettor so this is a fun way to keep engaged, and the dumpster fires are all extinguished in 2 games.

While I agree with the concept, I think you also have to consider style of play. Some teams style will be more conducive to winning playoff hockey games than others IMO. Wide open styles generally do not fare well. Physical grinding teams seem to have a substantial edge. Just my opinion.
