Lol look at all the rangers fans thinking they won the cup because they beat an inept pens team and a back up goalie... I'll be sure to come get you guys after the finals lol

Well more like after the Rangers extended the Pittsburgh series game 5 AND you could just SMELL the Penguins were going to CHOKE yet AGAIN.

right now with Konig Heinrick "in the zone" and the Rangers playing good shot blocking D in front of him, I think they can take on ANY team and win. VERY frustrating to play against. almost like the mid 90's Devils with Marty Brodeur

Everyone needs to remember that a "hot goalie" can steal a series virtually all by himself in playoff hockey. 

Ask Bruins fans about Ken Dryden and Patrick Roy. And Jonathan Quick may have fallen into this category as well in 2012. It CAN happen. 

So...I say beware a team that is peaking at the right time with a hot goalie...which it kind of looks like the Rangers may be doing.

And I am not a Rangers fan saying this.

Actually Rink, I was giving you guys credit for a good series when we were down 3 -1, you informed me that the Pens would choke.(which they did). But shutting down Crosby and Malkin is not an easy task, funny how everyone is saying that the Pens were weak, once the Rangers came back to win.

This is why don't come here come playoffs to many fan boys pounding there chest. This habs series has been but the other series in the west has been great hockey to watch.

I totally agree Boo a hot tender this time of yer in priceless...get it PRICE-LESS...but a couple lil wrinkles that I was thinking of is what happens if they roll HABS in 4 or 5...then the hot tender may be on the shelf for a week to cool off......that said he and his mates will be well rested and CHI or LAK could be demo'd after a tough series.....but that that said lol they could also be rolling and not holding an once of rust.


I think I need a nap...see ya'll Wednesday.

they WERE weak those last 3 games esp Crosby amd Malkin. got VERY little pressure on Henry and I will give credit to the the Rangers shot blocking D for that BUT you expect the Penguins offense to "show up" in playoffs and once again they did NOT

Even if we don't win this series or the CUP, is going to be HARD to beat the KING so be ready for a good fight!!

THAT being said, THIS series has been a real some what nasty suprise for me after the Habs knocked off the Bruins. thought it would be close with Lundqxist vs Price BUT expected the Habs to be stronger @ Centre Bell. guess you can NOT handicap injuries NOT as though that is an excuse. Habs had enough offense to win tonight BUT, once again, "Konig Heinrick" was UNREAL esp during that "barrage" the first few minutes of the 1st period
