Kings - A wierd team?

I havent watched much playoff hockey, i watched a lot in the regular season.

But when i looked at Kings - they played horrible and they only made it into the playoffs by being productive at the end of season, and it was still a close race. To me; Kings is a bad version of the same thing NY Giants did. What happened? It's not like NJ Devils played that good hockey either tbh :S
