One last comment ======= Red Will Be At MSG later tonight ==============Let's Go Rangers!
Hey Red,
Good to see you again, buddy...have a great time at MSG
I've already shut down the degen machine in my cranium for the evening. Gonna watch the action on MSG and that'll be fine (with some vino and whatever I can find in the refrigerator lol). I posted a 6-pack of leans in PUCK TALK earlier and hoped to go 3-3, so I'm happily surprised that the sharps are on Les Habs (one of my 6). Bailing; not wagering on any of the 6, and not even the Flyers who somehow snuck into my brain 15 minutes ago as a big dog.
I would be fine with Halak getting the start and giving Igor a day off....still "expected"...maybe some pre-puck drop gamesmanship by Gallant? Either way should be some excitement tonight!!! Let's Go Rangers!!!
Cheers buddy

Another FUN NITE at MSG, Red !!!
Felt like playoff hockey watching (maybe a cliché lol not sure) and (wait for it lol)...Rangers did what they had to do to get the W...Igor was sharp again, and some smart plays...especially K'Andre deflecting that cross ice pass down to Jimmy V leading to the second goal.
And good job on your picks!!!

@DB51daBEARS
Thanks, Bear.
You know back in the day, when I was very young, and obsessed with hockey, the Rangers could only beat 2 teams Boston & Toronto. Black Hawks & Montreal were a certain L. So, maybe the ghosts of Christmas past were awake last night. One never knows? Conscious appears in all that happen. It has a vast memory. Yesterday I did better than the sharps. Maybe I am secretly a sharp? Something to ponder. Good luck today if you decide to make a wager on this small slate of games. Back soon.

My Plays Yesterday 3-0 bringing YTD record at 22W 11L + 1080 Sharps plays 0-1 Now 21W 9L on posted plays. Proving their human. Lol
Nothing piques my interest on this small card. So far sharps haven't played anything either. Will be back later to update.
I want to inform everyone that I will be reluctantly posting my plays and sharps plays in basketball and football forums, if you choose to follow. Why reluctantly? There are so many Trolls, in those forums. Just look at my Seahawks-49er post yesterday, & I'm sure you will understand.
I appreciate the fact that in this hockey forum, trolls are almost nonexistent. But I think Covers might not like the idea of posting too many basket & football plays in a hockey forum. And I would completely understand that.
The other fact I would like to pass on to you, is that the betting crews that are respected at Draft Kings, are different in all the various sports.
In other words, what creates splits in hockey are not the same as basketball, football or MMA. I will mix my wagers in with the sharps, to simplify things.
I usually do pretty well in the other sports I bet, but I can't make any guarantees. It's up to the gambling Gods. We'll see. Be back later.

Hey Red,
Good to read your thoughts (but not your mind lol). Pretty sure we'd be + bettors if we could do that
I hear you about the vast memory and our human consciousness. It's a storage unit beyond what we could ever imagine...and nothing gets deleted.
For sure, the sharps are very good at what they do, but like you allude to, you and we and all of us can also sharpen our skills...and a lot of times the Pros and the Joes are on the same side (maybe for different reasons lol).
And if you believe you're getting to that next level I have no reason to doubt your belief. I believe I'm getting smarter in this endeavor, but got a ways to go to be a solid + bettor. Don't wanna hurt my shoulder trying to pat myself on the back, Red, but I did have the Canucks ML on Wednesday (the 3-game slate) and that was the night you said the sharps had the PL but then bought back 3/4 of their wager. That had me grinding my teeth, but I liked my side and they came through (though I was sweating the 2-0 lead, then the 2-2 tie...etc etc).
You kinda piqued my interest now to go back to the history sites for the Rangers in the 1960s and forward. I remember vividly the Rangers' GAG Line...and Emile Francis...
Damn...talk about CLASS, with a capital C-L-A-S-S !!!! And Emile only passed in February of this year (though it wasn't mentioned much).
Gotta give a look-see now...got home a half-hour ago and had to check out Covers NHL first!!!
Cheers buddy
This guy I'm quoting here...well, he weren't no Yogi Berra, but he was pretty damn smart in his own right
"The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why."

Hey Red,
Yeah...none of these games are helping Buttman achieve his Brave New World.
No star power tonight...tried to force the Blues side, but not working for me.
Fishermen outta water...lean the desert wolves, but nahhhh.
Wild fans in St Paul tonight gonna be drinking for free the new concession drink, Chicago Smash, every time the Wildlings put the puck in the net.
Cheers buddy

Red...buddy...you're disrespecting the other Original Six squad...the Winged Wheelers...
they still have that caché of Hockeytown (which I respect and admire) but Stevie Y better get crankin' before Buttman moves 'em to Houston
Cheers !!!

Actually, we beat the Wings at a surprising clip. Even though they were a top-notch Team, just below the level of a Montreal or Black-Hawk squad. I mean, any team that had a Gordie Howe playing for them, couldn't be bad. The supporting cast were talented as well. Reggie Fleming, Orland Kurtenbach & Vic Hatfield kept the opponents from skating with their heads down. Those were the days when hockey was played in the Canadian style. Not the European, free skating style that the game has turned into, today. I started going to Ranger games when I was 12 years old. Never missed one. I hung around the ice at every pregame practice shoot-around so much that they eventually gave me a job. Ranger management was extremely cheap, but they offered me a season ticket located 2 rows behind the press-box, right on the blue line. I was in heaven. Got to know all the players. Most were great guys, some not so much. Arnie Brown was a real SOB. But, I digress. I will write about consciousness, in another post. The Vikings should beat the Colts today. They are better & need to win, to stay in the play-off hunt. We'll see later. Nice call on Vancouver. The sharps got greedy & tried to middle the game. It almost happened. Glad it didn't for your sake. Back later, but I only see 1 side I might invest in. Best of luck!

Hey Red...I remember those guys very well (Reggie a little less)...Vic part of the famous GAG line, of course...and they were genuine "tough" guys (not in a bad way, unless they needed to be). You're right about skating with your head down back in those days...ohhhh baby, you were asking to get leveled. I can recall all the conversations in the papers and on tv about the change in style once the European players started becoming a significant part of some teams.
That's great that you were able to get a job with the Rangers at such an age!!! The typical "hey kid, can you go get me..." maybe? Really cool for sure...at least the way I'm picturing it, probably you weren't always so cheerful, I don't know.
Thanks, Red...talk with you later

Vikings having a turnover party, I think I'm dead in the very 1st quarter. On to the next game. I knew I was in trouble when a sharp came in and hit the Colts, early this morning. Onward & upward.

@TMG93
I'll be back around 5:30 or so. Sharps are taking advantage of everyone's eyes being on football, so I'll have to wait to see the true wagers.

Not a good night 1-4 - 285 Burned with another empty net goal to kill the Islander-Knight total. Every day can't be Christmas, so, we forge onward.
Now 23W 15L YTD + 795 Sharp plays 22W 10L
Will pass on Sunday, hockey
Going with Jacksonville + 4 & Chargers - 2.5 in the NFL

Empty net goals killed my totals yesterday. 2 by Buffalo 1 by Islanders. All in the last minute. Gambling Gods are sending me a message. Don't get too cocky. I will proceed with caution. Nothing for me today. Best of luck.

Hey Red...I had the same thought - in general - not you...but I've seen it before and I'm sure you've seen it before with your colleagues and friends who get a little too far over their skis. Yep
I try my best to fly under the radar, but it doesn't always work lol.
Cheers buddy
Just watched probably the best World Cup I've ever seen!!!!! It had everything!!!
