Bluesplayer you must not have watched the game at all. Albert did not play in that game. His backup(Jones) had 3.5 sacks and forced 2 fumbles.
Turnovers were caused by defensive pressure.
Just like most turnovers created by the Steelers are due to pressure by the defense. Last years game was not even close, it DOES NOT mean the same thing will happen this game.
Good luck on your bets.
I watched the game. Why would i comment if i didnt.. You keep mentioning the defensive pressure the titans brought and im saying it was mistakes more than anything on the steelers part. Defensive pressure didnt make Big ben lose his mind in the red zone, he fumbled the ball, thats a mistake. Tennessee is overrated big time, kerry collins is not going to make enough of a difference to help this team. For heaven sakes the titans picked up Nate Washington.. The Steelers added 3 Wr's that make him look like a college player, not to mention Hanesworth leaving. How in the hell can that help the Tennessee cause ??? The tennessee Defense is not even close to this defense, you will see soon enough.

Bluesplayer, he fumbled the ball because he was being sacked. Is that too complicated for you. The ball was knocked out of hands.
Good liuck on your bets. If you watched the game though you would have seen Jason Jones knocking the ball out of Ben's hands several times. That's why defensive pressure causes turnovers.
Did you remember that a huge turnover at the end of the first half led to the Steelers winning the Super Bowl against the Cardinals, should we take that away?
The Steelers live and die by trying to create turnovers, why is that so hard to understand,

I agree 100% that the turnovers were due to pressure. However, several other factors came into play. The Steelers couldn't get off the ball, and had to switch to silent snap counts because of the noise. Ben couldn't audible, and the Steelers offense just wasn't in sync. That is part of playing on the road against a legit NFL team. (playing in Oakland doesn't count. The Steelers will enjoy similar advantages tonight.

Gotta love the STEEL homers who say "No ALBERT" then when you tell them the big news that when the Steelers got thumped last year, Big AL wasnt there, they completely ignore you and act like they just didnt say something stupid. Gotta love it.
Are you ready for some football?!

My thoughts are with the Steelers ML. Pittsburgh isn't a team that wins by a ton of points, but they win football games. This could be a 20-17 victory, or a 20-14 victory. The thing is it's -300 on the ML. So is it worth the risk? Is there any possible way the Steelers lose at home on opening night? I just don't see it happening, but is it worth it to pay the price?? Question of the night in my opinion.

Dude your over stating the Titan defensive accomplishments. They Are not that good and i certinly do not need your advice about the game itself!! Ben made a mistake. You can wishfully think what ever you like about that play because there was a turnover. Ofcourse the overrated titans and the media machine has you exited for tonight but you will see soon enough how the advertisement of the Titans will be just that ....I need no advice from blinded Titan fans who now hold the contract of nate washington. Your going to curse him game in and game out....have fun..

There is one matchup that is making me sick that nobody is talking about - Keyron Fox will replace Lawrence Timmons at right inside linebacker. Timmons creates a ton of pressure, but is great in coverage. Fox will have to probably have to cover Bo Scaife, the Titans second leading receiver last year. I like the Scaife over 3.5 catches at +105.

Hey its the cowboy fan who just has to but in everywhere and hate on the steelers.Yea your right, are we ready for some football.Fat Albert STARTED THAT GAME.....BUT HIS FAT ASS DIDNT FINISH 1 HALF.... It wasnt my main point but the lack of someone that powerful on a d line isnt something you want to lose. whatever, eaither way your a HATER and everytime someone sticks up for the steelers you come running like a moth to a flame. The cowboys SUCK and will continue to while the Steelers will add another Lombardi..Have a great year rooting for Romo...

In BluesPlayer's world, a win shouldn't count if it's due to turnovers.
Guess what that's what defensive football is, you SHOULD know that.
Good luck holding Justin Hartwig's contract, he's quite a center.
Im not sure what planet your on dude but Hartwig did fine last year. He has a ring and there is no comparison to Nate washington Vs any Top receivers in the leauge. Nice job attacking me and deflecting my points.. Washington sucks and you will sadly see this soon enough.he can jump well and play good in practice. But what's the point of Talking to a Titan fan who dosent know the calibur of the product he watches....
I hate to tell you this ......But.......the Steelers evaluate talent better than anyone in the World and when they cut a player loose it's for a very good reason. Eaither way,im not posting back and forth all day with a titan fan who overvalues his team's defense. 4 hrs and counting.....

Hartwig just signed a four year extension on Tuesday. Probably the only solid piece of an otherwise mediocre line.
Yes but they did pick up some new talent.....of course i cant remember all of the names. Hills , Urbick ...? Im sure we will see them soon enough. Fine with me,whatever works..

Lets go Steelers! I don't think the Titans will be able to keep up with the Steelers offense.
"Offense" and "Steelers" don't exactly go together like peas and carrots, but they seem to have a knack for destroying opponents in these spots. The Steelers should be good for 24-30 points tonight.

FLYP,
You have to put yourself in position to win
and you get it.
Fav on the ml and dog with the points
is the correct way to wager.
Every week in the NFL for years a minimum of 3
games has the line come into play another reason
to wager fav ml , dog points.
