When you act like a  thug and you fit the part, then yes, you are a thug. Ban him from the league and from his ghetto hood that he probably still lives in to "keep it real homie". The fact that he showed absolutely no compassion after his brutal cheap thug hit only justifies calling him a THUG. It's like he just did a drive by, shoot some innocent people, and then sat on the bench and drank a forty of Old English. Suck a d**k scalabrine.

I agree. It was a terrible play as well as a tough situation to watch. However, teams do have unwritten instruction. I'm not saying that a particular coach told Wesley to go out and paralyze the guy as he nearly accomplished but anyone who's played football understands "locker room" tactics. This hit was obviously blatant and  unacceptable, I hope his punishment is appropriate.

i didnt see him signal for fair catch as that was the call but that would be even worse that was nothing but a thug play they need to get those uneducated thugs out of the league

complete moron but did he purposely do it? did he actually think the ball was in his hands? if no then yes suspend him for 4 games and fine him 100,000.  by the looks of it he seemed he didint give a fuck. so yeah he probably purposely hit him.

Unless I missed something before the video started, I didn't see any fair catch sign so the hit was a bit vicious but not ejection worthy though.  He used his shoulder to hit the guy on the chest.  He did not use his helmet.  I've seen worse hit than than on punt returners in the NFL.
