Instead of bitching and moaning that the NFL is fixed after you lose let's hear what games could be fixed before it starts.

This will be an ongoing thread for all the conspiracy guy's.   Post the games you think could be fixed BEFORE IT STARTS NOT AFTER YOU LOSE!

Tonight TNF, my guess is ARIZONA +6 and UNDER 41.  I have no action tonight so I'll be a good mediator.  If AZ covers and shady shit goes down I might start believing.

Someone who is proactive, I'm a fan.  Great thread, cannot wait to check back in.

Cannot say I agree the fix is in all that much but its usually a case where I was outsmarted by the lines makers.

"There's a game out there, and the stakes are high.  And the guy who runs it figures the averages all day long and all night long.  Once in a while he lets you steal a pot. But if you stay in the game long enough, you've got to lose.  And once you've lost there's no way back, no way at all"

You won't get any of the nut jobs posting any such predictions.  They don't know any facts (before and after) so they would have no such knowledge.

If game is close to point spread = fixed

If game is NOT close to point spread = probably not fixed, but might be.

Public hammers a team and they win/cover = NFL & Vegas threw the public a bone.

Public hammers a team and they lose cover in final minutes = 1000% guaranteed fixed, no doubt about it, NFL and Vegas are in cahoots and sitting around smoking cigars and drinking whiskey while they puppeteer the players and coaches to do what they want to make a few extra million.

Who exactly is doing this, and who is getting paid, are questions that NONE of these "fix" crybabies can answer.

People that cry fix are 99.99% of the time just butt-hurt gamblers that are too much in denial to admit that THEY MIGHT NOT KNOW $HIT ABOUT FOOTBALL, so they need an excuse.

But what about that BLAH BLAH BLAH game that you can't explain the finish too?? (cue up the Steelers-Chargers highlights)

Andrew Luck high fived a teamate after a 3 and out.  OH MY FOOOOOOOOOKING GOD...THE NFL IS FIXED AFTER ALL, HOW STUPID AND NAIVE WAS I ALL ALONG.........I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WAS LUCK THAT OUTED THIS GREAT AND SUPER-SECRET CONSPIRACY.  I wouldn't be surprised if Luck turned up dead soon, for opening cheering for his fix instead of his team.  Such compelling proof!!!!

I think anytime you have games where there is only one on the card like the Thursday night NFL, Tuesday night college football, Thursday night NFL (also have one college game) its better to be against consensus then with them.  Today, we have roughly a 65/35 split with most of the action on Seattle minus the points yet the line is dropping.  That just does not jive.  With all the gamblers out there and the limited action both online and in casinos I say the play is AZ and the points.  Now, its not going to hit all the time or even 70% but I wish I had the numbers on the non-consensus wins on single game nights.  I may look it up.

i just looked up consensus and who covered for I believe the 13 Monday and Thursday games we have had this year, 2 monday nighters week 1.  Of the 13 games played if you bet against the consensus your record is 7-4-1, there was one game where it was about 50/50 consensus on covers.  Not too shabby.

So far no evidence of game fixing, looked fair to me.  There were a couple shady calls in the Cardinals favor but nothing to say the fix was in.

     The investigation continues.........

This would be a game to fit the fix,

    *non division game

*KC with nothing to lose except an undefeated record.  The only real competition in their division is Denver.  If Kansas City loses to Houston they will still hold 2nd place.

This is one game to keep an eye on for the fix is in investigation.

    Any other match ups?

Texans is my "fix is in " pick.

Another game is the REDSKINS!!  Spread is like 1 .  Two different teams .bears 4-2. Skins 1-4.  I mean why can't the bears be -4?? Better talent almost at every position . The spread Is 1???????!!!!!!!

    Skins and texans for me.

I think the Jets/Pats game along with Den/Ind could fit this assumption. A lot of the public on the Pats and Broncos.

Balt at Pitt. The line opened at Pitt -3.5 and now sits at Pitt -1. Probably be a pick em by kickoff. Everyone taking Balt. Possible help from the refs for Pitt.

    The fix might be in!
