The link to the article that I am providing covers the NFL thru the 2021 season. Am certain that others have more up to date information than this. Any additions are welcome.
Here is one of the paragrahs with pertinent betting information:
"Since the NFL changed its postseason format in 2002, quarterbacks making their first career playoff start are 25-40 against the spread (38.5%), winning just 35.4% of those games outright. The first-year playoff curse has afflicted QBs of all statures, too, from future Hall of Famers Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers to journeymen Matt Moore and Matt Cassel, and dozens in between."
And this:
"As mentioned above, first-time playoff starters have covered the spread just 38.5% of the time, with identical hit rates in the wild-card round (20-32 ATS) and divisional round (5-8 ATS). And while those passers have actually been a better bet on the road (11-15 ATS) than at home (14-25 ATS), both have been a losing bet overall and own an outright win percentage of roughly 35%."
Canada (soon to be the 51st state), welcome aboard!

Out of those four QBs of their first time entering the Wild Card round, three of them are playing on the road and one at home. C.J. Stroud of the Texans is the only QB playing a home game.

But no to Mason Rudolph and Jordan Love, they're going to learn the hard way they aren't winning. Still in the midst of capping those games... bills -10 though
Sip on that plus money honey!

@Europa
I think Stroud has a good chance.
I'm willing to give Tua a chance.

I agree with the notion that Tua has the best chance out of those three QBs winning a road game this week. However, key injuries, frigid weather, coaching and QB experiences disadvantage might take the toll on Miami. I like KC straight up in this game and I parlayed it with Dallas ML.

Interesting thing on some of these QB's is the team finished very high in my Power Ratings.
2022 9ers no. 1
Seahawks 2013 no.1
Yates, Texans no.1
Jets 2009 finished very high up
Steelers 2004 very high up maybe even no. 1
not sure about Flacco with 2008 Ravens.
So yea agree with the other comment these QB's had strong teams and they were good enough to help make those teams strong.
