KC twice Cleveland Giants Eagles Skins Dallas Oakland Tennessee Denver Cincy (the week of Chris Henry's funeral)
not in that order...
the only good team in that list is Dallas (in hindsight). maybe Philly but they fell apart the last few weeks
the Chargers are also 31st in the league in running the ball
you need some breaks and to be a damn good team to win 11 in a row...but the W/L record may be a bit deceiving. they do not run the ball at all and they dont stop much of anything either

I think your Jets have a great shot to win this game. San Diego will get pushed around upfront on defense, if the Jets convert 3rd downs and run clock (which they should) then SD is in trouble.

Thats a big IF and I dont know why they should? SD has a week off to rest and now Sanchez hits the road for about as long a road trip there is.....
Sure the Jets could win this game IF they can contain Rivers and IF they can control the clock and IF Sanchez plays decent ON the road (sure they won @ cincy, but this is a different beast)....
BUT , they could also get their ass handed to them with a lot fewer ifs for SD.

If Sanchez continues to play smart and not try to force something, and that #1 D continues playing like they have been, this could turn into a Cinderella story.

I know you are Jets fan and you are just trying to convince yourself that your team can pull the upset but I disagree with this thinking. To me this kind of stuff is deceiving. It's not how good these teams were at the end of the year, it's how good they were when the Chargers played them. The Giants and Philly folded down the stretch but at the time they played SD, those were good wins.
Also, most of the teams in the NFL are trash. So really you can do this for any team. How many threads get started, "Who has so and so beaten?" Well, there are only a few good teams so most of your wins are going to be against garbage unless you have more than one good team in your division. You argued that Philly isn't a good win? Well, I can argue that the Pats wasn't a good win for NY now too. I'm not saying the Jets have no chance but it's going to come down to matchups, turnovers, coaching, etc. I don't think this kind of stuff means anything. Good luck.

the Jets are 31st in the league in passing, seventeenth in scoring and eighteenth in touchdowns scored
Chargers are fifth in the league in passing, tenth in total yards, FOURTH in scoring and FIFTH in touchdowns scored

Yes, early percentages have the Jets seeing 75%. I'll wait for a 8 and unload on the Chargers. Also have them +195 to win AFC and Saints +1150 to win NFC.

I think SD is overrated. Didn't they almost lose to the Raiders?? I would take Jets +9. That's alot of points to a very good Defense, and a good running game. As long as Sanchez doesn't throw INT's, I think the Jets keep this game close. Kinda reminds me of the PATS-RAVENS game. I think there's even good value on the JETS moneyline, but traveling cross-country isn't good for a East Coast team.

it dont matter who you beat because you only can play who is on the schedule and even tho sd has choked in the past in big games they are a much more mature team this year and rivers is playing lights out ill carry you on my back football.
the jets will stick around first half but i think chargers will prevail and cover

About as one dimensional as the Jets then with their 31st ranked passing offense.
Revis may slow Jackson down but I'll take Gates (1,157 receiving yards) and Floyd (776 receiving yards) and Sproles (497 receiving yards) out of the backfield all day.
