Lazard came down with the ball and possessed it all the way to the ground. Defender ripped it out while Lazard had his back to the ground.

There is usually always blatant pass interference on those hail mary plays, but never called. Lazard got away with pushing the DB down first. Aside from that, it should've never been caught in the first place. What's the point of rushing 2 if you not going to have more people deep in coverage. Coach's excuse was covering the sideline....
