conf finals are always lower than what a regular season ML would be for some reason

in many cases you don't need the points on the dogs in Conf. finals, dog winners often also won the games straight up.

From memory it seems this will be a 3 point game either way. Clearly the two best teams in the AFC this year and 3 points seems like a winner. Good luck with the ml though, Home teams are ringing true this post season.

maybe im an idiot but they put out a line of between 7.5 and 9 and every1 pounds bmore or atleast thats what the covers thing says. why would they do that if bmore was the play? it appears all this line has done is get every1 on bmore. im not saying the pats cover(im a homer) but they looked pretty damn good vs a better rush offense than bmore. i just cant see that baby flacco carrying his team to victory. cameron calls a shit game. rice is bmores only weapon bc flacco cant consistently get the ball to his tes and boldin. flaccos last 3 gms he has 132 130 176 yards passing that just isnt enough vs the pats. hes going to be under pressure all game to match brady. i think pats win 9 is a ton of points vs a defense like bmore but i think the lines saying this one might get ugly. gl to all

I also like the Pats NOT to win the Super Bowl at around -115...gives you 2 legitimate shots at it imo

No offense KOAJ and congrats on all your G-Men winnings today but I see a revived PATRIOT playofff team that finally won a HOME PLAYOFF game that's real happy to get that out of their 4 year funk!!

Brady has way too many offensive weapons at his disposal and as long as the pocket holds up, he will absolutely SHRED the Baltimore secondary ravens "O" has no chance of ever going toe to toe with the NE no huddle offense. NONE WHATSOEVER!!! Their defense looked great against DEN too

Besides this is the sames RAVENS squad that played PUTRID on the road losing to the likes of Jacksonville and got destroyed by Titans too You are better off taking those winnings and put it on G-MEN or PATS to winning it all

Anyway, isn't their a trend that when the Patriots win SB, the GOP wins the Presidential election

IIRC, the Giants line was high and got pounded, and it worked out.

Still, I see your point about Flacco.

It's not really a trend. The Pats have won just 3 Super Bowls, and only one occurred during an election year. The 2004'05 Super Bowl. 1 SB-Republican win doesn't make a trend. I'm guessing you were being just facetious, though.

yea the books just lower the money line because of the title conference
championship.  it has nothing to do with giving out more money than they have to !  ravens win this game no doubt in my mind!

I know the Pats defense isn't that good, but doesn't anyone worry about Flacco before making a ML bet on Baltimore?? The guy sucks. Hes a statue back there and if he has a good game than I do think Baltimore wins, but thats a big if when it comes to Flacco.

Look at New Englands last 3 opponents, Miami, Buffalo, Denver, all teams Pats are seeing for the 2nd time, 2 weeks to prepare for a option team is a joke with a great coach, Baltimore presents a new problem for the Pats, there offense is clicking vs bad teams that they have seen for a 2nd time, lets see how it does vs a top defensive team that will come up the middle defensively on Brady, he don't move like Rogers and that will mean curtains for the Pats,,,,,,,+7.5 and ML Baltimore

I love reading people say "Baltimore looked like crap today" , "Flacco sucks" "Ravens offense sucks" It is perfect...this line is based on what everyone saw out of Baltimore vs. Houston and the Patriots putting up points against bad teams.  I am already seeing the public perception feed right into where Vegas has this line set.  Baltimore will show up and will beat Brady up.
