Hindsight being 20-20 from yesterday I am more convinced now then ever PHIX about your theory. Obvious easy money yesterday turned out not to be so easy.Obvious choices yesterday
Red Hot Philadelphia playing Minnesota minus AP among others. Minn Offense has been horrible with AP Phily D playing great lately. Easy money taking Phily....Wrong was on Phily and Minn has highest scoring game of the year minus the stars....Hmmmm
Red Hot High Flying Denver scoring a ton of points taking on mediocre San Diego. Bettors cannot get to the window fast enough to put money on Den -10. Pointspread goes up and Denver money keeps coming in. San Diego ahead at halfime surely will not win the game. So Vegas wants all of everyones money posting halftime of Den -7....Easiest bet of the year for most.....Except Mr Phix who saw right through it all...Thanks Phix.
Carolina playing at home off a loss against a pathetic offense and good defense in the Jets. Jets coming off a win and everyone knows the Phsycotic Jets are up and down every week. Carolina Jets game is for sure an under with 2 great defenses colliding. Under 41 looked like easy money to everyone. Carolina line opens at 11 and New York money comes in late like usual taking it down to 10. Turns out 10 was sharp line as it ends up Carolina by 10 points. The easiest bet of the game being the under 41 soars over to 50 points. The Jets score less than 20 points in 3 games combined and the past 2 weeks have scored as many or more than they did 3 games combined. Just another coincidence in the season.
New Orleans high flying passing attack goes to St Louis and Vegas begs you to take New Orleans -6 to -6.5 . Only got to win by a TD against a very average at best by their record Rams team. On turf and inside game for Saints but away from home. Easy money and another game to put in on a sure moneyline parlay. Everyone bet the Saints and lost money...Wise guys had the Rams keeping the number below 7. Yet another coincidence....hmmm
Nobody and I mean nobody not even Phix would bet on Skins team that looks Skinned. Disarray all around. RG3 benched and healthy Shannahan on TV everytime you turn on ESPN. Redskins looked like they had given up on the season against KC. Backup QB starting and have to go on the road to play what should be a very hungry Atlanta team licking their chops at the chance to play Wash. This bet was a gimme for betttors as the line was only 6 points for the starving home team that were playoff contenders last year. Bet the house on Atl giving up only 6. Not that ATL is that good but nobody willing to put hard earned money on Wash any more.....It cannot get any easier than this.....Except Santana Moss catches late TD to close the game within a point. Must have been a little money on Wash moneyline I am guessing because all of a sudden Skins go for 2 on a play with no chance at all.....Wow another coincidence...Amazing week 15.

The Hapless Steelers playing host to Underrated no love Bengals. Nobody givings Bengals respect at all and they are winning games and should make playoffs. They are playing for something and Pitt coming off heartbreaking last minute come from behind loss....Bengals Defense one of the top rated and they have a great running game....Just what the doctor ordered for some easy cash at the window today...Finally only have to give up 1.5. Surely Bengals will cover this line and win by a field goal at least. What was Vegas thinking anyway only posting them as short favorite....No respect for the Bengals to much respect for overrated Steelers. I was working so not what line closed at. I am guessing it may have risen. Sure road teams favored by few points NEVER win the game but this is the game that all changes for sure. Vegas is crazy and gonna take a loss tonight for sure......Well congrats to the few that took the Steelers to bail them out and won yesterday......I am guessing there was more that took the Bengals to bail them out and lost yesterday....Hmmm another coincidence.

We have a Detroit team coming off a loss playing at home. They have been jeckal and hyde team but they are at home on Monday night. In come the Ravens last years superbowl winners. Season has not been the same for them. Never seems to be when you give one player more money than any man is worth in the history of football. So does Detroit bounce back and dominate Baltimore. Or does Baltimore keep up with the high scoring Detroit team at home.... The games I spoke of I had hindsight with 20-20 vision. That is why I log onto this site. The Phixer can sort through all this and make sense of it all and is kind enough to let us know his opinion of what will happen. I am not sure where all the money is tonight. I am not sure which side Vegas wants to win...... Phix will figure it out and let us know....I do know that Vegas will not lose money....That is the VEGAS GREED PHIX referred to earlier I think. I will not speak for him though. What I will say is until I started reading his posts it all just seemed like a coincidence to me... Phixer...The total on this game should be over under 46 pretty solid. Is there any good reason they have it at 49.5 to 50. I know everyone likes favorites and overs. Is this adjustment on line due to the high scoring games flying over the total lately when 2 teams play in different conferences ? Crazy stat I saw had like 70% of those games resulting in over. Would hate to take a Lions game under as much as a Ravens game over. I am not sure how the money is spread on the game. From what I can tell pretty even on the pointspread. Venturing a guess on more being bet on the over. I have no data to back that up though. So with the over and under being higher is Vegas thinking this will be played at high scoring pace of the Lions. Or begging you to think that because the Ravens will control the ball and clock and get their general 21 points and allow 24-27 ? Prior to the last 3 games Cowboys had the best spread record in NFL. Green Bay has been battling injuries that are significant role players. The NFC East was there for the taking due to late game start. I also put in prop bet with Cowboys winning by certain numbers with odds. At one point my bet with 20-1 odds looked good in second half. I was actually worried that Cowboys would win by more than 30 to screw it up. I was thinking I was pretty smart when I went to work with Cowboys up 23 points. Never in their history had they lost a game after leading at halftime by 20 or more......Easy money just there for the taking. All I was worried about was which set of odds would the game come in at. At that point they were averaging 7 yards per carry. So logic says they will run the ball in second half salt away a win and control their playoff destiny. Ridding themselves of the cannot win in December label they have been given.I would love to know what number you could have gotten live betting Packers to win in second half. There is no sense in running the ball in Dallas when Tony Romo is. your QB. 23 points is not enough to win the game you need to press that by throwing the ball gaining huge yards and scoring points..Dont worry about the clock stopping on incompletions it will not matter anyway. Dont run the ball and control the game. That would be way to easy. Instead of running the plays called audible to pass plays on every down to pad your stats. There is no way the Packer defense can stop you. Well you can imagine my surprise to find out that not only did not cover the game they lost it outright. I should have bought like a 23 point middle but didnt due to history. Forgot about the history of Romo giving games away late in particular in December. It was like there was a switch thrown...or maybe a call made to turn Cowboys off and Green Bay on at halftime. Phixer.....I did some digging and did find a play in the game worth mentioning to you. You have given a lot of info so I just want to give back. As you know there is no garauntee in life or sports betting. There is a prop bet worth taking a look at if you want. I took Mathew Stafford at -105 odds to throw the first pick of the game. In gleaning over statistics this looks like a solid play to me so I took it. Ravens Defense is not what it used to be for sure. Stafford does have some issues with turning the ball over. I generally do not play props but like this better than either side or the total.......Fade me if you want guys none of you know me. Just wanting to give back some advice instead of always taking it. BOL to everyone either way

All I'm saying is they are professional athletes any given Sunday. There are upsets all the time. Just because you lose a bet that you were very confident in does not make the nfl fixed.

Dallas defense is easily the worst in the league you cant blame it on romo.usually if your qb can put up 40 plus PTs you should win the game I agree. But sh*t happens momentum changes and every team in the league has been lighting up Dallas defense. If I bet that game I would of took Dallas but I stayed away from it.

Raider44, all your examples represent the most public Joe attitude towards betting. Team A is better than Team B so I bet Team A its so easy. Then when Team B wins you think something fishy is happening. A lot of the games you mentioned above had an angle, or let down spot to it that sharps were pounding that created these "suspicious" lines. Teams don't show up each and every week, you arent gonna get 100% out of a team each and every week. They have let down spots, unseen match up issues and so much more. Until you understand spot plays and angles on matchups, you'll almost always think something "fishy" is going on.

Does anyone believe the sharps win because they get a 10% rake? Last I looked they don't make the picks for anyone. In fact, most of the time they have a decent amount of money on each side. THE REASON VEGAS wins is the juice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

vegas like god works in mysterious ways. if you really think nothing is ever set up then it shouldnt worry you if others do. Gardner webb +15 first half tonight was a great play since duke ended up +14 at the half. stats wont let you set lines that close as much as they do it and no I dont think every game is set up just some of the big money games.
