Wiz your right Ryan would not of been as good without him. But there is no way hes more valuable then Peyton or even Pennington and Rivers.

If the NFL gives the number 5 rated QB who has 1000 less yards, 7 less TDs, a cupcake ending schedule the MVP, what the hell is the award good for?



Rivers with his 104 rating, 5 more TDs, higher YPC, as good or better second half of the season deserves it more than Manning.

But I digress...

Rangerz: It's hard to advocate a specific candidate as more deserving and I hope you're right but a lot of guys had strong seasons so I could see it not going our way. I need this one. Good luck to us.

Wallstreet Im not gonna bother with you. Its well known you dont like Peyton. If you want to give the MVP to a guy who finished 8-8 in an awful division with all the talent on his team, go right ahead. And esplanade, a lot of players will get votes. Probably 6 of them. But because its so wide spread, its hard to think of one guy who gets more votes then Peyton.

Indy played 5 playoff teams this year, only 2 teams with winning records in the last 8 (Including the Tenn lay down this week but not including the 8-8 teams)

Cumulative opposing team record of the last 8 games- 50-62

Sorry, this isnt the first trip for Peyton, he does not deserve the MVP this year, he might win it but no way does he deserve it based on who the team played and the comparative stats.

Based on the value to their team and accomplishments this year I would give it to the others above him, specifically Rivers AND yes Warner and maybe Peterson and a defensive player or two.

Sorry, Manning gets mug time on tv and is an easy pick but he isnt the MVP this year in my book.

Rivers put his ass on the line way more then Manning did this year.
They could have rolled over after halftim against Tampa.
4-8, team to win division and make it to playoffs is a first ever.

Just stop, you are only making yourself look bad now.  You rip Manning but would then place Warner ahead of him?  LOL.  It's funny(and irritating) when people will not concede when everything is pointing against them, and are just creating strawman arguments.

Well said. To argue opponents record when comparing to Warner, who plays in the worst division in football is ridiculous. Where was Warner in key road games when his team needed it? (ex New England) Meanwhile Peyton won on the road at Pitt and San Diego. Warner in the same spot would of been awful, and that is being nice.
