Bankroll is at +$43,000  (profit is +$13,000 going into the Monday night game, either I double the Monday night wager or lose juice, either way, I will be over +$17,000 in profits tonight for the season)..............several wagers pending:


Pending: 2 team 6 point teaser: Chargers +9, Texans -2............$1,200 to win $1,000

Pending: Rams +11.5, Texans +2.5, Chiefs +14.5...........$4,800 to win $4,000

Jets +8 (-110)  $5,500 to win $5,000

PTB - so you've changed your mind on the Texans tonite? You must have liked them well enough to have wagered $6K with them in the 2 teasers. Why would you try to middle now when your others came thru & you just need 'em to win by a fg to pickup $5k? Don't normally get into how anyone wagers but don't like that middle at all, especially at only +8. Anyhow, good luck - I've got Hou -1 & -2 to win 2 teasers & am sittin pat. Like the Giants in the teasers above -

Imo, the Texans wont lose SU but will they cover the -8 or higher? I rather shoot for a middle of 8 points, its the smart thing to do. Money before ego................lots of people stand their ground & wont budge & I just feel when there is an opportunity to catch an 8 point middle, gotta take it, not everyone agrees with it...............anything can happen on Monday night, remember Jags/Ravens last year when the Jags won SU as a 10 point home dog?

I did well this week so im shooting for a middle..............good luck to us & the Texans with a 3 to 7 point win.....................

But you only need Hou to cover 2 (basically get the W) to cash $5K. I understand the eliminating the risk of loss of anything more than juice part with a shot at doublin up, but that's a narrow 5pt window. Unless you now feel there's a better chance of Hou basically losing the gm as winning by 9. With different #'s & a bigger window, I'd like it better but only needin to cover 2 think you could easily be walkin away from a relatively stress-free 5K. Good luck tho & hope we're both celebratin in about 8hrs

Even if I don't middle it, I'm happy with the way week 5 finished except for that Sunday night game, it balances out in the end.

Giants is money,, Beware on the ravens though because the Cowboys!  The cowboys are not below .500 which means the Ravens will come to play   Just my thoughts

Teasers have been golden in a lot of these games thus far. Nice job. And I sure could have used SD in one last night in that hose job!

You should use the WA +9.5 and 10 (-115 at BetOnline) for your W/L record on the Jet's play (unless you posted it somewhere else when it was 8). Hard to believe this game was a pickem back in May (even with the 2 key Jet injuries).

I will definitely be on the other side of the 49er game, but the Giants are a much better road play than at home, nonetheless.

Bookmaker allows up to $10,000 for payouts on a teaser..............

I also use 2 local online guys..............which give me a decent size wagering limit.............

Wanted to mention I usually use my locals a lot because the money is right there, dont have to wait for checks, etc...............if you dont have any locals with decent lines & limits, use bookmaker, they are awesome!

Do you like the 49ers? I was looking at their schedule & they play next Thursday night at home vs a divisional rival, the Seahawks so they may be over looking the Giants with a short week coming up.................

Yes. I think they;re much better, offensively, than they were in the NFC championship game last year.

I also think they've had this game circled since last year's tough loss, and I hardly doubt they will be overlooking the Super Bowl champs to face the Seahawks! 

I'm sorry, I've just been stuck with having to watch so many regional games with them since I live in Portland - and they have pretty much sucked since their '06 Super Bowl loss.

However they are really good with their 12th Man at home, as they knocked off New Orleans in the playoffs the year after they won the Super Bowl.

They probably aren't as bad as I'm making them out to be, and Russell Wilson is fun to watch this year as well. I should probably go way back in describing having to suffer watching them, week after week, when the prime time game is preempted.

I hear you, but you'd be happy to just walk away from $5K if Hou wins by only 3 or more? For the chance to double up if they win by 3-7? Sorry, just doesn't make sense to me unless you think there's a really good chance the Jets cover 2 - in other words, basically get the W. GL anyhow - hope it works out for you.
