Take a deeper look into this game

purdy was 1 for 8 on 3rd and 4th down passing plays to move the chains , I think his lone conversion was in the 4th

If some of those were picked that means they wouldn’t of been completed passes most likely anyway

so purdy didn’t deliver in the KEY SPOTS which are MONEY DOWNS

again purdy was almost undrafted , he’s the weak link in the sf offense

he lacks a physical presence , height speed arm strength pocket navigation are all avg at best

he has the easiest job in the nfl , at the same time his job will get tougher at times , these r the moments he can be EXPOSED ! And he was !

Why do you think defenders block passes and why do guys get to him without him even feeling the pressure first or why does he decide to throw the ball and he decelerates his deliver in the process or when he’s on the move his passing is inconsistent, etc

When he has to throw and a quality d knows that the windows get smaller the oline is pressured more and purdy now is being TESTED

now things start to RACE in his head as the game doesn’t appear to be slow , it’s speeding up , it’s not easy no more for him, to pass the test purdy must have the ability to answer the questions

it’s just one game at the end of the day , a good feel out game , it obviously could of been closer if purdy didn’t cough up the rock but he simply failed in the MONEY DOWNS

jimmy sorry for your loss , flush this one down the toilet and use your energy for the week 17 card

good luck , rams mline !

    @JimmyGape

Omg what a total cry baby you are grow up.  First I watched the whole game. You guys got your butt kicked. Oh oh we were good between the twenties. We racked up yards are you serious. It was garbage yards in the fourth. Don’t give me stats.

It was total domination. On both sides of the ball Lamar laughed his way up and down the field. The defense beat your team in every way possible, you could see how scared Purdy was in the second half because he had never faced a defense like that. Grow up then wake up. You should be sent to rehab for starting such an infantile post you lost badly get over it cry baby.

    100%.

Purdy proved he's not the MVP (this year). Ravens intimidated him, that's why all the ints. It wasn't luck.

If the 2 teams changed rolls, could you imagine all the love for SF? They dominated them... But SF loses and Ravens were lucky, or mishaps, bad bounces, or whatever.

The Ravens pressured him and that's clearly what caused the "mishaps"...

They had 12 points for a long time, shoulda been 10 if the ref doesn't trip Lamar. He was the only guy that could get him down in the open field.

Wow this is getting really embarrassing for Jimmy . Of course the 9ers had more yardage they had longer fields to travel . The Raven's where in a bend don't break defense mid way through the 3rd . Ravens defense completely rattled brock he was see ghosts .Hopefully someone can reach out and talk to him his mental state is well right now

Purdy played the worst game of his career because of the Ravens defense. 4 ints and another was dropped.  I watched it again last night, it looked worse than live. I don't think SF has an answer to deal with Lamar. He made them look silly trying to catch him. SF D-line was dominated by Ravens O-line.  I pray they play again in SB and SF is favored. How can you say it's ignorance when supposedly the best team in NFL was down 21 pts at home in front of 27M viewers? You just can't believe your own eyes...

the D line neutralized themselves. This goes back to Lamar dominating the NFC. People do not realize the preparation for this guy. If you are a team that does not see him twice a year, you are going to have no clue how to defend him.  The 49ers pass rush has been not elite this year but also they weren’t even trying to rush Lamar at times.  They did not know how to contain him. It came down to them just hoping and praying he wouldn’t be accurate on his passes because they weren’t going to speed up his throws by not even trying to rush.

The secret to covering him is to contain him in the pocket but also rush at the same time lol. You almost have to have a nickel spy on him or blitz multiple corners and drop your linebackers. But the teams who can play him the most will be able to figure out what works. The hardest part to it is that you can watch it on film and come up with a gameplan, but when you get out there you find out just how good this guy really is.  And you need multiple attempts to be able to figure it out.  I mean he owns the bengals. The only team he has ever really remotely struggled with is the Steelers and that’s just the rivalry of the matchup.

You would’ve thought that when everyone declared Bill Belichek greatest defensive mind of all time and Lamar Jackson made his defense look silly multiple times…that would’ve been enough for people to realize. But nope lmao.

I never hear Tom Brady giving any QB praise besides Lamar.  Brady is speaking out against how bad football is and certain QB play. But the only QB I ever hear him constantly praise is Lamar Jackson.  He posted the other day on his instagram a picture of him and Lamar shaking hands after a game with the caption saying… “You’re next.”  So it’s not just me saying Lamar Jackson is the next goat. Even your goat says it.

(Sorry I know this isn’t an actual Lamar thread. I am all over the place with it at this point. Shouting from the mountain tops and people still will refuse to listen.)

this element was also excised from the 9ers disastrous championship game performance last year. Jimmy Gape will go to his grave believing the 9ers lost cause Purdy got hurt, but refuses to acknowledge it was their inability to slow the Eagles dominant pass rush that led to Purdy’s injury in the first place.  an_light

So many “If” this happen and that… Baltimore won cause they played opportunistic defense and got short fields.

If my aunty had balls she’d be my uncle.

dave you make no sense “I did not watch the game, I was scoreboard watching” you didn’t see the trenches, how the secondary executed, how the quarterback looked, who was flat, you cannot tell a team by LIVE SCORING omg Dave you must be using some serious satire today lol

I believe the Ravens are winning it all it is their year and if they don’t win it The Cowboys will. Niners can easily lose their first playoff game whether they get a bye or not. I’m not picking on them but I just see them choking because Vegas odds are once again in love with them and it usually spells disaster.

    @DefenseWinsSB

thank you sirpeace_5 I try my best , I’m quite old so excuse me if I’m off at times

there’s specific moments in football games that have a bigger impact on the outcome

A handful of plays usually are the difference makers

Good luck champ , hammer the rams mline !

sound's like A 49ER  homer here, every good team in the NFL Has been Blown out by another good NFL team

No shame for 49ers,   Tom Landry once said your only as good as the last game you Played

Niner's are great team but not Invincible; They are Beatable and Lamar and co Proved that!
