I’ve said plenty of specific things in this thread.  I just won’t say Tebow is a great NFL QB like you want me to.

And then you went onto assume that’s what it meant.

And I already said if the ball doesn’t even get to the receiver of course it’s not his fault if he doesn’t catch it.

I've never seen such a team effort from the Denver Broncos before.

This is my first time posting on this thread, so I'll make sure not to call people out.  And admitting that I didn't read all of the posts, is there at least an agreement that if Tebow can lead his team to wins, then that "tends" to be what matters in the end?  I will agree that he's not an ideal quarterback, has a lot of issues he needs to work on if he intends long term success, and there is definitely not enough credit given to the defense.  But if they do pull this win out, it does say something, even if it's not a lot, about his ability to somehow lead a team to victory.

One thing those losses did, which I think was good, is show that the will to win can only carry you so far, and that talent needs to be shown at some point.  Personally, I'm rooting for him to succeed and hope that he can improve his accuracy in the off season.  He's fun to watch, and I remember a time when Denver was more relevant in the NFL.  If this brings them back, then rock on.  Lastly, I'm from Philly so there is no homer bias.

Heys guys! Weird game. Looked like a Pitt d roll early and a couple big plays later tebow looks ok. Den d is on yet again surprise suprise. The Denver d got the turn they need and holding them plus Pitt wig so sloppy like I said eh shooter? Tebow looks way better this game! Impressed with throws that are on time. Still can't reverse all the ugly games Ive seen but improving!

Yes. Like I've said time and time again...I'll admit when I'm wrong when I feel that I was wrong.

While I still don't feel that he's a good quarterback and won't have a long career...he certainly doesn't suck so far in this game and I'm giving him credit.

He's certainly proving me wrong. But it's in THIS game.

But if they do pull this win out, it does say something, even if it's not a lot, about his ability to somehow lead a team to victory.

Still can't reverse all the ugly games Ive seen but improving!

When you think a 149+ passer rating is simply “decent” I wouldn’t expect you to be impressed with a pathetic 123.6 rating.

Come on now. There's a difference. His game in Minnesota had a bunch of dump down passes. If he couldn't do that he wouldn't have even been a starter at Florida.

This is impressive because he's hitting targets in stride. He's leading receivers to the ball. He's not just getting a receiver who runs up field, then runs back, plants his feet, and waits for a pass.

I don’t care how you get it. A 149+ passer rating with 200+ yards, 66+ completion percentage, and multiple TDs is better than simply “decent.”

They need to let Tebow play just like all the other QB"s.  Stop being so predictable on offense and he'll be fine.  Hell did you watch ICE MATTY RYAN today?  Let Tebow play with a regular play book and then judge him.

That's my argument. He's changing the game with this offense. And once other teams learn to adapt to it...he will have to adapt. And they didn't change the game because they felt they'd have an edge up on competition for a few weeks. They changed it because they feel that he won't produce in a "pro style offense".

That's why I feel that once teams adapt, he'll be screwed. But we'll have to wait to see if he's able to adapt to defenses adapting in the long run.

Tebow sucks at motivating McGahee to not fumble the ball in FG range with 7 minutes left in the game when a FG makes it a two score game.

Tebow is one hell of a burner. There's no taking away from him there.
