Overall is a different story. There are terms called "one and done" and "one hit wonder". You can never judge a player based on one season of play. It's easier to judge a top prospect who is playing well but, in reality, you can only judge at this point. Only the future will tell what his overall productivity will be.

As for Eli's first season. I was pissed when he took over because Kurt Warner was playing very well (if I remember correctly) and the Giants were winning. But it turned in the right direction over time.
But I give him the world of credit for winning this game. And it has nothing to do with Eli. There's no need to bring him up.

Shark, of course dude! How could anyone be sold? This guy is no better then average. Funny how everyone jumps on now. Where were you last week? So he has a bunch of awful games and a couple fantastic and he's great or good? Perhaps he doesn't suck and that argument is over. But don't o all getting in sparky or my face that this guy is awesome and we suck. Call it like we see it and tebow still sucks in a lot of games we witnessed. You all know it too. Have your fun time today!

Sparky, tebow was great today and that's great for him and the backers. Don't go giving in on everything cause this game. tebow deserves lots of praise for this game but not overall. Still very piss poor efforts. But he is still a rookie and we have give him the benefit and see how next season pans out for him.

I believe Tebow could be a good nfl QB and will be a prolific QB he won tonight and lost my bet but the defense is outstanding. I dont believe they can win in New England if they do I will BELIEVE I am not ahater I loved him in Florida and thouhgt he would be to small for the NFL but hey I could be wrong he may be another great. I wish him luck but I will be palying New England at home next week. It would have been a different game today with a healthy Ben. But congrats Tebow on the win.

I'm not. That's why I've said "for today, I eat crow". He had a great game. But I still stand by what I say. If you're going to put up clunkers in about 70% of your starts...there's no way around it...you "suck". I may have taken back when I said that he sucks altogether...but I stand by him sucking as a quarterback until he's given me a good sample size of success in the NFL.

he is far from sucking to be honest. you see quarterbacks falling apart one by one in play off's,taking that crappy denver to play off's was a success itself, i believe their run is over when they face new england but hats off to tebow and teammates.kid is legit.

Who knows. He faced the Pats already and didn't play well. Now he has to go to Foxboro. It's going to be a tough matchup. But that goes without saying since it's the 2nd round.

from Jax and hated tebow while at UF because of all the love ...plus i'm a Cane. but he wins and thats what counts in the end. even at UF the defense won his NC with the late stops. no team wins without both sides of the ball doing there job.
his passing isn't as bad as everybody makes it out to be. ask hernandez, harvin, cooper bout that. they call plays that make him look like shizz until its crunch time and he does his thang. i love seeing him make elway force to clap.
qb is a position like any other and you can play it differently and if you win who cares.
