Yea...that's what I got. It usually takes between a few hours to a few days for my kaspersky to catch it. Luckily it caught it quick this time and I'm not running my full scan.

I just took the advice from earth to use google chrome and I guess we'll find out in time if it works.

If this doesn't work I'm switching to Norton and hopefully that works. I was also told by someone that he doesn't get the virus on his PC but gets it when he uses his laptop. So getting a PC will be my LAST resort.

So we should blame the recievers…

It’s not tebow fault he has Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas, Dante Rosario, Chris Clark, Willis McGahee, Lance Ball, Jeremiah Johnson, and tebow has FOUR other PRACTICE squad players. These guys can’t get open. Tebow had the 2 time SEC championship team and 2 time national championship team on his side and now has these guys as his weapons and the most overhyped 23rd ranked defense and is expected to create miracles? If he played on a good team and sucked then I would be saying he sucks too.

    …for Tebow under throwing them?

You say that I look stupid because I bring up the strength of schedule?

Miami 16th ranked defense was a top ten at the time and just lost to New England 27-24
Oakland ranked 29th and had a top ten offense and is predicted to win the division.
Kansas City 15th ranked defense lost in the Wild Card round last year.
NY Jets 7th ranked defense back to back AFC championship games, was predicted to go to the Super Bowl
San Diego 11th ranked defense and 6th ranked offense was predicted to go to the Super Bowl
Vikings 25th defense but the broncos only scored 7 points in the 1st half and then scored 28 points to win.
Chicago 18th defense is one of the NFL’s most feared defenses. I can’t defend the bears offense.
Patriots it took the broncos to fumble the ball four times for the patriots to stop the tebow train and the defense couldn’t stop brady. You can’t get the patriots to punt only four times and expect to win.
New England is ranked last on D but is a super bowl contender with the greatest quarterback of all time.

Explain to me something about the Bears' offense that "I didn't know about".

I can’t defend the bears offense at the time but I can defend the defense.

Denver swept the division on the road. Everyone knows division games are like playoff games and records go out the window.

Brady, Rogers, and Brees are the only quarterback’s in the NFL that can score 50+ and win in spite of not having a strong defense and their teams making dumb mistakes. Everyone else needs a defense to help them in order to win. So if you want to see tebow in a shootout and win against these guys without the help of a defense, elite offensive personnel, and smart coaching, it will never happen.

Hell...I'm fighting with a guy right now whose trying to convince me that the Chiefs have a solid offense. I can't even argue with that because numbers speak for themselves.

I was simply pointing out that the chiefs have the offensive personnel to win and if tebow had the chiefs offense, then you could have a valid argument about tebow not getting the job done. Matt Cassel , Tyler Palko, Ricky Stanzi are the quarterbacks for the chiefs and everyone who studies football will tell you those QB’s were not getting the job done. The only problem with the chiefs is that they needed a veteran quarterback. Kyle Orton is a game manager veteran and is a good back up but he is not the quarterback of the future, he is a fill in type of guy. The chiefs seriously need a change at the quarterback position in order for them to ever compete for a title. You kept praising the broncos 23rd ranked defense as if the cheifs can’t score on them and I had to point out that the chiefs offensive personnel can and will score points. The numbers say the chiefs are not a strong offense but the problem isn’t the offense as a whole, it’s just the quarterback position. Sometimes numbers do lie.

Do I give the defense credit? Of course, I do but I will say defense doesn’t put up points and without points you can’t win. You can’t win the game zero to zero, you need points to be declared the winner and tebow has put his team in the positions to win and score points in crunch time. To call a guy a flat out bust with 14 games under his belt, 11 this year, with the worst offensive personnel, as I clearly pointed out, and say he can’t play? How do you know that? Until he has a real team around him, it’s hard to say he can’t play in this league. If he is put in a position with tons of NFL talent surrounding him and he continues to struggle? I will be the first one to say I was wrong and eat crow.

What amazes me the most is that he’s is still 7-3 in the NFL and has the worst set of offensive weapons in the league. If someone says, he still sucks, go look at the offense (like I pointed out in detail in post 1860) and tell me it’s not a joke.

I never said he threw the ball away. I said he under threw them. I've watched all of Tebow's starts with the exception of last week where I saw bits and pieces and he gets the ball out of bounds when he throws it away. There have been plenty of times where he threw the ball to a receiver who could have caught the ball if it were thrown chest high. You can't expect receivers to catch a ball that hits the ground before reaching them.

So now teams who were "projected to go to the Superbowl" and what teams did last season comes into play to fight your argument? So "experts" picked the Jets and Chargers to go to the Superbowl and that makes them better than how they've performed this season? Anyone who has watched the Chargers this season knows that Rivers isn't the same quarterback that he's been in the past. And what does the Chiefs going to the playoffs last season have to do with this season? They haven't had Eric Berry all season. The Vikings were playing with special teams players in secondary that game due to injuries...but I gave him credit for that being his one good game this season. But they caught a break because there was no Adrian Peterson in that game. And how was Oakland projected to win the AFC West and the Chargers predicted to go to the Superbowl? What "experts" take a wild card team to go to the Superbowl? They were only projected to win the AFC West after they started off playing over their heads...just like Buffalo. And finally...yes...the Bears' defense is feared. And Tebow played horrible that game and if it weren't for Matt Prater and Marion Barber...the Broncos would be on a 3 game losing streak right now.

Yes...divisional road games are tough. And records can go out the window. But talent can't. The AFC West is mediocre and every team is equally bad. And it's not about him putting up 50 and throwing for 500 yards. If he's getting praised like a top quarterback...he should play like one. He's a run first QB. Most of his plays are designed to be a handoff or a fake handoff turned into a run by Tebow. He's 1-2 this season when throwing 29 times or more and that one win was against the Bears. A run first QB won't last in this league.

Everyone has an offense that "can win" and can put up big offensive numbers on any given Sunday. Just like the Broncos when they put up 38 on the Raiders. But the odds are simply unlikely. As for them needing a new QB for the future...I agree with you. The problem is that they paid pretty big for Cassel and he IS their QB of the future in their eyes. And I've praised the Broncos defense because, when facing bad offensive teams like Miami, KC, Chicago (minus Forte and Cutler) and the Jets, they have been great. Maybe I am wrong about their defense. Maybe they're just a product of facing poor offenses (as they should be). If that's the case, it just bumps up my strength of schedule argument. But we both have to face facts that the Chiefs offense is still not good and is in the bottom tier with or without Orton and against a Denver defense, at home, who has held poor offenses in check, should have problems scoring. And just like when the Bears faced the Broncos...I'll have a nice bet on the 1st half under because if Tebow does anything, it's likely going to come in the 2nd half.

Now you say that I call him a flat out bust with 14 games under his belt. I did not say that. I said he sucks (is a bad quarterback). He's being TREATED like he's amazing and people are judging how GOOD HE IS based on the same 14 games under his belt. And that's my biggest gripe with this entire situation.

And you also say Thomas Jones is very solid RB when you talk about the Chiefs offense. But even with all the injuries this season...Willis McGahee is playing great. He's a great compliment and really throws defenses off when you have both threats of Tebow and McGahee. And sure, Decker isn't a great #1 WR...but he's still a pretty damn good WR. You're right...the Broncos offensive weapons are limited...but that could also be a product of Tebow. He only throws the ball 24 times per game. You have to imagine that it's hard to get into a rhythm with so little chances.

If Denver can't win this last game you have to imagine tebow will be replaced or elway will be looking elsewhere. Tebow has gotten by being average to below and unless kept in the game by his d we have seen what happens when he has to score. That is not debatable. Would like to see a win and would imagine Denver gets it done vs kc. Would like to see this pathetic media storm go into the playoffs.

Yea. If you go to the covers help forum...there's 3 pages worth of people having the same problem. At first I thought it was just the general discussion forum...then I realized it was simply covers after I was checking scoreboards on this site. Hoping this google chrome thing helps.

So a higher passer rating than ANY game Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, or Tom Brady has played all season is simply “decent."

My response to your post #1883 Sparky

Yeah he does need to improve on his accuracy but many those throws were to covered receivers and tebow is just following orders. Its better to miss up or down, than miss small and get it tipped or picked off. I don’t remember the actual quote but I do remember parcels telling romo “ throw it to the ground if your unsure if you can get the ball to the receiver. It’s better to throw it to the ground in front of the target, than cause turnovers or take a intentional grounding penalty.” If you watch tebows targets run routs, it looks like they are moving in slow motion. I think he is so over coached sometimes that he would rather miss ugly than take chances. Plus it’s not like he has all day like rogers, brees or brady with his crappy offensive line.

The chiefs beat the packers, the jets are back to back AFC champions, chargers were a contender and beat the ravens, and dolphins took the patriots to the wire and so on and so on… I am just saying that not every team is the packers, saints, and patriots. Now if they had beaten the jaguars, rams, colts, or browns, then you could say they beat weak opponents. The broncos were a 500 to 1 team at the start of the season and they swept the division on the road, that is hard to do in this league.

I agree the praise tebow has been getting has gotten out of control and needs to be taken down a notch.
I completely disagree on the notion that every team in the AFC west is equally as bad. I could show you that the chargers, raiders, and like I already did the chiefs, are loaded on the offensive side of the ball. The broncos are clearly the laughing stock of the league at the offensive side of the ball.

How anyone could say the broncos defense are a product of poor offenses when they have allowed 123 points the last four games and 80+ the last two games. Seems to me that teams have been having their way with the broncos defense and are scoring at will. If the coaches don’t put tebow in charge and just let him sling it, I see this game getting out of hand real quick and the chiefs putting up 35+ points easily. Orton has a bunch of new toys to throw it to and is going to use them and light the scoreboard up.

My problem with McGahee is that he is always injured. Let’s face it he is an injury prone player who always disappears in must win playoff type games. He will probably carry the ball 3 times, hobble out of the game, and all the tebow haters won’t even acknowledge that he didn’t even show up and say it was all tebows fault. Another player that will be missing this game is brian dawkins, who is the leader of the defense and von miller and chris harris are both injured but tebow haters won’t even mention that. I disagree that eric decker is a real receiver and you’re right it is hard to get into a rhythm but not for the receivers but for tebow because his receiver’s can’t get open and move in slow motion. How is the man supposed to trust throwing it to them, when they suck? It’s not tebows fault he throws only 24 times a game it’s his coaches. Every time he drops back to throw, he sees his receivers running in slow motion, two inexperienced 3rd string receivers, a player playing fullback that’s a tight end, a player playing tight end that’s a tackle and all of them not open or even close to breaking off their routs. A bunch of third string practice squad players at running back and tebow is supposed to be comfortable throwing and playing with these guys? You have got to be kidding me?

Tebow need’s to get a steve largent (a running quarterbacks dream) type of receiver to help him, because he is playing with the laughable buccaneers offense of the 70s. Jim zorn, michael vick, vince young, bobby douglas, doug flutie, kordell stewart, and steve young are quote “running mobile quarterbacks” that had trouble throwing in this league at a high level. Most of these quarterbacks took some time to develop as reliable quarterbacks. People that are not NFL history freaks don’t know that steve young posted 2–14 records in each of his two seasons with them, and Young's record as starter was 3–16. In his 19 games, he threw for only 11 touchdowns with 21 interceptions while completing fewer than 55% of his passes. Although his time in Tampa Bay was miserable, San Francisco 49ers coach Bill Walsh was impressed by Young's natural abilities and felt that his problems were due to the struggling Bucs organization. I am not calling tebow, steve young, but I am just saying, he needs some help and clearly needs better coaching and more practice. Tebows team is flat out awful, just like the laughable buccaneers of the 70s.

I'm just going to say nice rebuttal but it's clear that we each have our own stance on the matter. I'm sure I can break down what you wrote and then you can re-break down what I wrote. You bring up good points...but I still stand by my view of Tebow as a quarterback.

But I will comment on one thing. Yes...the defense has given up a ton over the past 2 games. But one of those games were against the Patriots and, as for the Bills, you can't really blame the defense. They had a 3 touchdowns come from a punt return, interception return and fumble return while allowing 4 Field Goals, all of which following the defense stopping the Bills in the redzone. And they were killed by bad field position the entire game. And as for the Vikings...I've said that I gave him credit in that game. Their defense was terrible, which I have said was in part of Von Miller being out and limiting the Broncos' ability to rush all out on Ponder.

Hey shooter. I say decent because he didn't put up any points all half that game. His d got them the 7. He had 13 yards passing and nothing going on. So brutal 1st half and awesome 2nd equals decent :)

If a 149+ passer rating is simply "decent" then Drew Brees with his 108.4 rating and Tom Brady with his 105.1 rating are having pretty poor seasons.

Also last I checked NFL games had two halves and a TD in one counts the same as a TD in the other.

    Punchout-

You make some good points but say that it is the coaches fault that he doesn't throw the ball more and that hurts him when trying to establish a rhythm. Didn't the coaches change this offense to suit Tebows skills? He doesn't run a "normal" pro type offense because his skill set is better suited to run the offense they changed just for him. They did that to take advantage of his skills as a runner and because of his lack of accuracy as a passer. So if they get better receivers are they going to change the offense once again?

Now we get to see the Broncos in the playoffs-

Tebow- 6-22 for 60 yds, interception and 16 yds rushing.

Maybe this will convince people that he is not the long term solution.

Being from Philly you have a QB with all the skills that does nothing.
