Tebow has won a game where his team allowed 32 points.

So by your theory, Vick, Romo, Rivers and Eli can't win a game unless their defense keeps them in it.

Wow you guys, your theory is flawless

My god wake you break out stats like you haven't been watching these games! Yeah sure brees and Brady have been winning games 13-10, 16-13, 17-13, come on dude you know the d has been great for those games. Don't be stupid. Ps. The game his team allowed 32 the also got a pick 6 and got the game winning fg. Or do you mean oak when they got a pt td and two ints that set them up in the rz?

The point i was making is EVERY QB in the league needs their Defense to win.

Simple as that, the stats above prove my point without a shadow of a doubt.

Haha yes every team needs d but tebow has been winning a majority of his game in disgusting fashion. The kind I would be embarrassed showing my Brit cousins that this is what we love. Until the last 5 minutes of course. Lol. Brees and company don't win games that ugly. Maybe one here or there but they overall look good.

Last time I checked, Drew Brees had more than 10 career starts right?

Drew Brees went 8-8 his rookie, threw 17 tds and 16 ints.

Keep thinking elite QBs just come out of a box. Experience has nothing to do with it

Tom Brady also had a game his rookie year where he threw 0 tds and 4 INTs

Can you imagine if Tebow did this?

You would be able to see Sparkys boner through the computer screen.

Like I said, keep judging Tebow like he is a vet, even though he has less than a full season started in the NFL

Wake listen. I'm not nor have I ever compared him to them. I'm smarter then that dude don't insult me :) I brought those guys up because you did by comparing them. I have never compared or even questioned if tebow can be like them. I understand he is a rookie and that is unfair to him. Come on dude remember my posts more. Tebow will be fine if he gets better. Right now he is not good enough.

No, I simply brought up those guys because they are the best QBs in football.

I simply showed you that even the BEST Qbs in the league have a very hard time winning when their defense plays bad.

Thus, by saying Tebow NEEDS his defense to play well is a very IGNORANT statement.

I do remember your posts, which is why I say to myself "hmm most of his posts make sense, but every now and then one of his comments make me shake my head."

Phillip Rivers: 0-3 when his team allows 27 or more points.

Great Theory guys. Tebow needs his Defense to win. All of these other QBs I listed don't need a defense, as you can see from the numbers above.

Hopefully now you can see how idiotic that statement was

You're missing the point. Of course all teams need defense...but you earn the title of "great" when you can win and keep your team in a game without a defense. Something Tebow has not shown.

Just look at the defenses of the QBs you listed as opposed to Tebow.

In 9 starts for Tebow...his defense has allowed 15 or less points FIVE TIMES. And congrats...he's 5-0. Want to compare defenses now?

The Patriots have had ONE game this season where they allowed 15 or fewer points. They're 1-0.

The Saints have had THREE games this season where they allowed 15 or fewer points. They're 3-0.

The Giants have had ZERO games this season where they allowed 15 or fewer points.

The Eagles have had FOUR games this season where they allowed 15 or fewer points. They're 4-0.

The Cowboys have had FOUR games this season where they allowed 15 or fewer points. They're 4-0.

The Chargers have had THREE games this season where they allowed 15 or fewer points. They're 3-0.

So in 6 more games...all of the QBs you've mentioned haven't had the same amount of success that the Broncos' defense has given Tebow.

Actually you also earn the title of great when you lead 4th Q comebacks too.

Tebow has won 2 games in less than 12 career starts where his team let up 24 points. Stop knocking the guy because his defense is playing well

The difference between Tebow and a few of the other QBs is that they can keep their team in a game when their defense isn't doing anything.

And I noticed that you just pulled numbers out of your ass for your stats. Why 28 points for Brady? Why not the fact that he's 6-2 when his defense gives up 3 or more TDs?

Or that Brees is 3-2 in the same situation

Like I said, keep judging Tebow like he is a vet, even though he has less than a full season started in the NFL

And under the same circumstances...keep hyping up Tebow as if no player has ever won a football game before.

Wake-I say tebow NEEDS his. Because he does lol. The couple of games the d played poorly they still got PTA for Denver. Until tebow proves he can carry a game this is what I will think. Remember how much I was arguing earlier that I will eat crow and respect tebow when the o is sustaining drives and actually beating teams not coming back every week.

Because we are both smart enough to know that stats and wording make all the difference when proving your point.

You can say Tebow is 7-0 when his team allows less than 41 points or you can say, Tebow is 0-2 when his team allows more than 33 points.

Your only argument can be this. Tebow doesn't have the ability to win high scoring games with his run first offense, and this is true.

However, like I've said 100 times before, he is improving on his throwing, and as he improves, the option offense will obviously be adding more and more passes. Which in turn will give him the ability to keep his team in high scoring games.

Like I've said 100 times, expereince and hardwork is key.

Can you name ONE rookie QB who has taken an awful 1-4 team and gone 7-2 including 6 4th quarter comebacks.

....let me save you the trouble, no you can't

Shooter, dude do you have to find an argument for everything? For darn sake dude "he got smoked" "they got smoked" who gives a shit

Because Tebow, individually, didn’t play that bad.  Denver, as a whole, did.

    Big difference.

Lol whatever shooter nothing has been moronic. Everything I've said is crystal clear people just choose to look at it differently. Since tebow took over d has been outstanding and tebow has come through when it mattered in the end. He has been clutch but still average at best. I've argue that from day 1. Never been a moron at all.

Minion, I wouldn't say everything you said is "crystal clear" but you have had some good points and given credit when it is due for the most part.

However you say "Since tebow took over the d has been outstanding" yet fail credit to give Tebow any of the credit for his helping his defense. People knock tebow for not being able to win high scoring games but it is his style of play that eliminates possesions during the game which allows the game to be low scoring.

You can't simply say the defense is playing better and tebow is simply benefiting from it, he is a small part of making that happen.
This is simply one of the MANY qualities Tim Tebow brings to the QB position that "haters" don't give him credit for, but play huge factors of WINNING and LOSING

Having someone respond directly to something you’ve said in one of your post and then getting upset and annoyed because they didn’t feel like reading each and every one of your posts you made prior is moronic and arrogant.

In a thread this size most people aren’t going to read every post you’ve made before responding to something you've said in one of them.   Get over yourself.

    Wake,

There is nothing you can say or post that will make Sparky admit that he's wrong!

I am a 100% sure that even if Tebow miraculously take the Broncos to the Superbowl and actually wins it, Sparky will still be a hater.

i am happy calling him names from here on.let's just go wayyy down to his level and maybe just maybe we can understand his state of mind.
