Yup. And when the defense isn't elite...they lose. They live and die by how the defense plays. They're 2-2 since Tebow took over when the defense gives up 3 or more TDs.

Wake-Denver never had a chance even if the d played good. Tebow fumble and rb fumble also led directly to 10pts. In the Detroit game the lions d scored 21 bud! When denver d isn't good the team isn't. Seems pretty obvious.

Yea...3+ TDs in those 4 games. Because in the other 5 games...they never gave up more than 15 points (or ONE touchdown).

Which goes to the point I've been making all along. Tebow, when facing a legit offense, is in for a world of trouble. He needs his defense to play well to keep him in a ball game.

I clearly said he played okay but overall the team still got smoked! If tebow played anything like in the kc, nyj, chic, sd, oak, Det, games this would have been over and a super blowout! I gave the guy props even when the team lost bad and you still wanna keep going? Man you're annoying!! Even when I half eat crow on here you nit-pick

And field position was huge in that game. You can't entirely blame the defense for that loss. Obviously they weren't stellar but fumbling the ball 3 times on your own side of the field isn't helping the defense at all.

Not to mention that pick against Minnesota to lead to the game winning FG (not sure if you were trying to make that point).

Tebow gets the job done as long as the defense keeps him in it. But playing 1 quarter a game kinda means you suck. You won't be getting this lucky for a long career.

I've noticed that every time he tries to come back against a team they play prevent defense, leaving WR's open for 5-10 yards and let them run. And if they're doing that, if he can scramble away from the DLine, he has a ton of room to run.

We saw yesterday that he has a tough time playing with the lead. And once teams learn that the key to his success is short dump off passes that allow him to easily push down the field in the 4th, they'll stop letting him do that.
