You can talk stuff about Tim Tebow but all that matters is the (W) in the win/loss column. "Statts" are highly overrated and the all Bookies care about is if you won or lost the game.

Don't hate the player hate the game! I'll take my money any day from the Bookie if he wins for me and I don't care how it's done.

Jim Kelley from the back in the day Buffalo Bills had excellant statts but no SUPERBOWL ring to show for it.

The people I feel the worst for is the Denver D. No credit at all. Especially Miller and Dumerville! It is all this under 50% passer that is saving this team. Give me a fucking break! Where Tebow deserves credit...
    1. Not turning the ball over
    2. Rallying the team/Making them play better

To say that Tebow is winning these game makes me feel sad that I even converse with people on here. It's like saying Trent Dilfer was the savior of the Ravens their superbowl year. Dilfer had better Numbers even lol! These guys are just game managers not good Qb's. Tebow deserves credit for being a great person and leader out there and the D deserves credit for winning games themselves!

But let's be fair and try to see if YOU can find any reason or reasons to believe from his QB play in the NFL, if he has what it takes? Let's see if you can find anything within him as a QB, to possibly "lead his team back to victory"?

    In 2010,

    WEEK #16

Tebow rallied the Denver Broncos past the Houston Texans 24-23 when he scored on a 6-yard scramble with three minutes left in his first home start against the Texans last year, capping a comeback from a 17-point halftime deficit.

    Then the following week...

    WEEK #17

Tebow brought his team back after being down 26-7 in the 3rd quarter to San Diego in but did lose 33-28.

    In 2011,

    WEEK #5

Tebow brought his team back being down 23-10 at the half against SD, losing 29-24.

    WEEK #7

Tebow brought his team back to a 18-15 win after being down 15-0 in the 4th quarter with 2:44 left in the game!!!

    WEEK #9

Tebow brought his team back to a 38-24 win after being down 17-7 at the half VS the Raiders.

    WEEK #11

Tebow brought his team back, yet again after being down 13-10 with 58 seconds left against the Jets to win 17-13.

    Did YOU find anything??? (lol)

Yet, to repeat again what you said "it just proves me point. If his defense gives up points early...he can't lead his team back to victory. He can only play if the game is in reach from start to finish."

Good job, Matt.  Sparky is lost in space. Will never admit that the guy is a great football player, maybe the best college player ever, and certainly proving himself in the league. He can't throw it around like the top qb's, but he can win games by playing the total game of football like noone has before.

Great football NFL player? Are you delusional? Please direct your attention to Von miller and the crew on D. You are the exact type of person that feeds this Tebow craze and are slanting the D. Greatest college player ever? Yes perhaps, but great NFL player? My oh My!

Great football NFL player? Are you delusional? Please direct your attention to Von miller and the crew on D. You are the exact type of person that feeds this Tebow craze and are slanting the D. Greatest college player ever? Yes perhaps, but great NFL player? My oh My!

Face a good team, one that isn't from a "west" division not named the 49ers, and see where that gets you. Maybe facing an NFC team would open some eyes.

If winning sucks, then I am sure he and the Broncos are glad that in your opinion "sucks" and will continue to do so for them.

My oh my to you my friends.

We are all aware that we only have a SMALL SAMPLE SIZE.

However, I have proven in this thread beyond a shadow of a doubt that in the small sample size we have, the Broncos Defense plays much better BECAUSE of Tim Tebow

Don't get me wrong, the Denver defense is playing really solid right now, but this is why they play better because of Tebow

1 - He doesn't turn the ball over. This makes opposing defenses drive the length of the field which is not an easy thing to do in the NFL.

2 - Running the ball on offense chews up a lot of clock and allows the defense to stay on the sidelines and rest.

3 - He motivates everyone around him to play their best. Everyone in the Broncos locker room talks about how fired up they get to see a man so determined to win.

You may overlook all 3 of these factors, but the stats don't lie. Some of it may be that the Broncos D got alittle healthier, some if not most is because of the reasons I list above.

Look at the # of points Denver D allowed in Ortons starts and then look at Tebows starts. Heres a quick stat for you.

The Denver D has allowed 23 points in 2 quarters with Orton

The Denver D has allowed 19 points in 7 quarters with Tebow.

I know its a small sample size, but STATS DON'T LIE

Isn't it ironic that the defense decided to start to play good when Tebow was qb?? The guy has unmeasurable intangibles that some people just can't grasp.

DENVER'S DEFENSE IS NOT REALLY THAT GREAT LIKE SPARTY HERE WANTS US TO BELIEVE. THESE ARE THE LEADING DEFENSIVE PLAYERS AND AS YOU CAN SEE, WOODYARD OF DENVER IS TIED WITH TAKEO OF SD @ #23
IF YOU GO LOOK AT THE OVERALL RANK OF DEN AS FAR AS DEFENSE GO, THEY ARE RANKED AT #18! 18!
NOW IF YOU GO LOOK AT TOP PLAYERS LEADING IN RUSHING, YOU CAN FIND TEBOW AT AROUND 31-ISH, ONLY ONE PLAYER BELOW CAM NEWTON AND 2 PLAYERS BELOW MICHAEL VICK! THE ONLY OTHER PLAYER IN DENVER THAT RANKS HIGH AMONG THE TOP TEN IS MCGAHEE. WHERE IS THE DEFENSE THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT SPARTY! DENVER PLAYERS RANKS ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM AT # 38 IN TERMS OF INTERCEPTION. VON, MILLER RANKS AT NUMBER 3 WHEN IT COMES TO SACK BUT SACKING ALONE DOESN'T WIN YOU GAMES.

It's a shame because it seems like you took a long time to write this. But I don't respond to "ALL CAPS" posts.

And how many of those offenses are offenses that can score at a consistant pace? Face a team with a good offense who can score and KEEP scoring on him and he's got no chance.

I'm arguing with a lot of people in this thread. None are even stupid enough to say that Tebow is a "great football player".

You, on the other hand, are the one who is "lost in space".

You keep saying that. But by that theory, the defense wasn't healthy until the 2nd half of the Chargers game when Tebow became starter.

Hmm sounds like that conveniantly fits your point of view.

I certainly can't take this seriously anymore because I can't win this arguement till the season is over and on to next year.

I've made my point and there's nothing else I can say that isn't repeating myself.

So it looks like I'll either be "admitting that I'm wrong" in the future or coming back to laugh at Tebow's Cult.

We shall see. It was fun to talk this subject to all of you though.

Tebow playing in Minnesota......on that shitty turf?????

I think Minny is due for a big win and Timmy is due for an eye opening big loss

This is a perfect let down game for Denver...theyve beat the Jets, Chargers, Raiders, and Chiefs (in KC) so now they can relax and
"sleep" their way to a win vs a crappy Minnesota team..

Im ALLLL over Minnesota this week

PS=====I LOVE TIM TEBOW AND THINK HES THE MAN!!!!@@

That's the problem here. I CAN'T WIN until at last after the season.

It's like I have a season-long prop bet in. I can say whatever I want...but until the season is over...my "bet is still pending".

It's just plain stupid to say Tebow is a great Qb. Maybe he is a good player (intangibles, practicing, willing to learn, etc.) but QB? Give me a fucking break already! He is a better RB then QB for heavens sake! Denver is winning because D and the shit ass teams they are playing are not putting them away! How the fuck do you possibly blow a 15-0 lead with 2:44 left? Stupid ass phins are pathetic! The cheifs? The Jets Suck balls then Tebow has one good drive? The Raiders cough the game up with Punt TD and Picks, The Chargers score 13 at home? Holy shit can anybody not see it is all D on this team????? How the fuck can anyone say Tebow played a good game with the JETS when they had 200 total yards and 95 coming on the last fucking drive!!!!! Come on people!

Great person and player yes but a great QB come on! Imagine him on the colts where the team needs an actaully QB? They would not be winning beacuse they don't have the D!!!!! How can you possibly put up what 13-17 AVG and keep winning? This guy is the biggest Trent dilfer ever and people are sucking his dick! Dilfer prolly thinks where was all his love? Oh yeah, where it belonged with the D.

Oh yeah, where it belonged with the D.

just because i had my caps lock on that you don't want to argue my comment or...it it because you just don't have anything to counter it? stop making excuses and just admit that you're a hater. btw, Eli and the G-men got their ass handed to them in a brutal fashion.

No...I did read it. But it's already an issue I addressed. It's hard to lead categories for any position if you miss time and start the season hurt. Like I said earlier that Williams and Dumervil have missed time and played hurt. You really think the best guy the Broncos have on defense is Wesley Woodyard? He's solid but he's also played every game.

And yes...the Giants got smoked. And I addressed that too in earlier posts. I never got caught up in the Giants great start the past 2 years because I saw who was looming on the schedule. And if you want to stay on topic...if Tebow had to face the Patriots, 49ers, Saints, Packers and Cowboys (twice) the rest of the way...Tebow would be exposed in those games. He'd be lucky to win 1.

And this is why there is no point for me to really comment on everyone's response anymore because, throughout 13 pages, I've addressed just about everything that could possibly be asked multiple times.
