Like I have said. This is a quarterback driven league. And as you saw last night...the Giants' defense isn't good. Tebow would not be able to go back and fourth with Brees who can score at will.

oh so Tim Tebow is not as good QB as Drew Brees, probably the best QB in the league?? oh well... if your not as good as Brees you suck as a player.

What a bunch of fools in this thread advocating for Tebow as the reason they are winning. DENVER as a TEAM is winning. They could not be more of a TEAM right now with everyone playing average and the D killing it! Props to the ST with that huge PUNT TD vs OAK as well. Again TEAM. Tebow is doing nothing other then not turning the ball over and perhaps motivating the team. By not turnig the ball over he is doing his part on the TEAM nothing more and if it takes TEBOW to get all these guys motivated they should feel ashamed of themselves.
TEBOW playing equals TEAM winning/playing average
Manning playing equals ONLY reason colts win/play well. That is a quality QB.

Bless TEBOW and I hope he gets better but as of now this guy will not win consistenly over time unless he is put on a team to manage the game at best. If he needs to perform they will lose.

Thread should read. Von Miller/D IS STILL THAT GOOD!

This is absolutely ridiculous to try to make a point or an argument using these teams.

1.) If Tebow was to be exposed against any of the teams that you mentioned, he would join the majority of the NFL teams that faced the Patriots, 49ers, Saints, Packers and Cowboys that have lost to these teams.

So, it would prove NOTHING if he was to lose to any of the teams that you have mentioned, except that most of the rest of the NFL lost to those teams to.

2.) I love how you also conveniently picked all of those teams, while FULLY KNOWING that every one of those teams ARE THE DIVISION LEADERS, WITH THE BEST RECORDS IN THEIR DIVISIONS.

3.)  If Tebow was to be exposed against any of the teams that you mentioned and was to lose against any one of them...

He would be losing to teams that have a combined record of 43-12.

So, once again he would join the majority of the NFL that have lost to these teams as well.

Losing to any of these teams would prove nothing!!!

No offense but YOU responding to that post is irrelevant because it was left for me as a comparison between the Giants and Tebow after someone took a shot at the Giants. So I, in return, took another shot at Tebow.

So you agree that Tebow probably wouldn't beat those teams. With that being the case...Tebow isn't a top tier QB that everyone is making him out to be. If he was...he'd be able to hang with top tier teams.

And losing to any of those teams would prove MY ENTIRE POINT. I say he can beat the average teams but not the good teams. If he can't beat the good teams...than my point is proven.

You can argue whatever way you want. But my point is that Tim Tebow is not good enough to beat solid teams. And if that's the case...he should not be labeled a solid quarterback like everyone is saying. You can only win with what you are given. And Tebow was given the ball with an easy schedule in front of him.

Hey...Like I said. He's a great person. Has a heart that you wish many players in any sport could actually play with. I'm sure given the situation...he would take a pay cut to make his team better. But that's not what I'm arguing.

Nice taking one week into account. You know those 4 TDs were a career high for him, right? That now gives him two games this season where he's thrown 3 or more TDs.

Why can't you all agree that he wins game in unconventional style because he is a winner and a leader. We all know he isn't a good or even average drop back passer but he wins games. Don't give me they win because of their defense story only,he led them on a 95 yard last minute drive against the Jets, late 4th qtr and overtime against the Chargers,OT against the Chiefs,2 drives in the last 3 minutes at Miami..The kid wins no matter how he has to do it. I have already seen him win more games with the ball in the last 2 minutes than Peyton Manning ever has in the last 2 minutes. Had to get a Manning jab in there. I am not even a Tebow fan at all,I thought drafting him so high was silly, but how can you knock him after what he is doing? Who cares how he is doing it arm or legs, bottom line is he is winning

    Sparky,

You said "So you agree that Tebow probably wouldn't beat those teams. With that being the case...Tebow isn't a top tier QB that everyone is making him out to be. If he was...he'd be able to hang with top tier teams."

No I do not agree, nor was I implying that he would lose to those teams. I was implying that IF he was to lose to those teams, so did that majority of other QB's in this league.

Then you said "Tebow isn't a top tier QB that everyone is making him out to be. If he was...he'd be able to hang with top tier teams."

I definitely agree and was never trying to put him in the top tier.

I would through him in the middle somewhere.

Did u just use the word MOTIVATED? Ahh yes u did! Why is Denver MOTIVATED? It's becuz TEBOW has brought life to this TEAM......Why is the D playing so well? Becuz TEBOW gave them the belief that......HE WILL DO ALL HE CAN DO TO WIN GAMES! If they didn't believe in TEBOW do u guys actually think u guys would be praising the D? The bottom line is people who has been betting on DENVER has been making money, and that is what matters......

What he said really stuck with me," said Miller as he walked toward the team bus. "Just having that guy around, it makes us better men. I think he plays for us, and he makes us want to play for him.

Von Miller qouted on Tim TEBOW..........Do away with this BOGUS thread.

How about he plays more games before people start calling him a winner. He is 5 - 1 this season. Kyle Orton was 6 - 0 his first 6 games with Denver, Does that make him a winner ? Why did they cut Orton he is a Winner right?

John Skelton is 3 - 1 as a starter this season, the Cardinals are 1 - 6 in the games he did not start. Not one thread about how he is a winner and he makes the rest of the team better. He is not even going to start this week, because he sucks and he is not ready to be an NFL starting QB

It is like a starting pitcher in MLB that starts out the season 5 - 1 with an ERA of 5.72, what do you think will happen All-Star Game maybe Cy Young Award? No, he will start losing unless he can find a way to lower his ERA

Really nobody gives a crap about TEBOW HATERS, especially me. But you people cannot overlook the excitement he brings to his fans and his team. And the bankroll TEBOW BACKERS have made. I don't give a shit what his stats are.....Do you believe he likes all this attention? I don't, but it's there. His team supports him, as he supports his team. Nobody cares about Skelton, nobody cares about ORTON........TEBOW is different, and that what makes the kid special. Everybody expects Denver to go undefeated in order to prove he is a winner. But in the NFL, thats a tough feat to accomplish. I really hope he proves all his doubters wrong.

Tebow plays superb defense. Let's face it, his defensive leadership is better than Urlacher.

I wish I had remembered the start of Orton's career. This would have come in handy earlier. You are a good man.

I know nobody cares about Skelton but the point is, so far Tebow really has not done much more in the NFL then John Skelton has.

How is Tebow different? other then the hype

When Kyle Orton was 6 - 0, the team didn't support him?

I understand everyone loves him, he is a great guy, but if they don't win will the crowd still go crazy about him? What if he starts every game next season and they go 5 - 11, will they still be crazy about him or will they turn on him?
