Hey Guys...Tim Tebow Still Sucks
You might not want to admit it: but no one who flat out sucks could do what Tebow did in that “one game.”
The Tebow and Flynn games aren’t even really comparable, IMO.
Tebow did his against the #1 defense in a postseason game while having more pressure on him than any other player in the postseason.
Flynn did his against a defense that is one of the 10 worst in the NFL in a meaningless game with no pressure.

I know, shooter is funny. You and I can come on here and say he played great and had a great game. After the weeks vs Buff and KC which could have been the worst performance by a qb in the history of the NFL Buff 13-29 185 yards 1td 3 int 37.9 rating
KC 6-22 60 yards 1 int 20.6 rating
Shooter says "well he took a 1-4 team to the playoffs" lol
This Tebow thread is like a heavyweight fight. Blows on both sides. At least me and sparky can admit when we have been hit and tebow played well. You still give a runaround when he sucks balls in games and can't admit your hits.
Here’s what you just don’t seem to be getting: you and sparky are claiming he sucks. I’m not claiming he’s great. I’m not claiming he’s good. I’m not claiming he is going to be a pro bowler or a hall of famer. I’m just saying he doesn’t suck.
Tebow playing poorly in some loses while leading a 1-4 team to a division title isn’t a hit to my claim that he doesn’t suck (especially when it would have made a difference in only one of those losses).

Because Tim Tebow is a ratings machine and most people don’t even know who Prater is.
That doesn’t mean they are claiming Denver’s 6 game win streak was all because of Tebow.

No complaints here. The girls you pick are almost always hot. Just don’t go greyhound on us.

haha no no, I even mean reg season games. Any kind of game. 20+ yards a completion per pass alone would be incredible!
Well considering Drew Brees is averaging about 12 yards per completion (IIRC) I wouldn’t expect many games from anyone averaging over 20.

Cool then I can agree he doens't suck. I just don't think he's good or even average. Nothing this kid does sucks cause he's just too good of a person. He does often look like he sucks in many games but overall because of his odd great games or comebacks gets him out of the shit category for me but no more then just below average.

John 3:16
Tebow completed 316 yards pass
Tebow also averaged 31.6 yards per completion
Steelers time of possesion 31:06
what are the odds that happens?
The game also had a 31.6 in the ratings during the 4th quarter and OT. ![]()
I think I heard that was the most watched NFL wildcard playoff game in over 20 years.

One could say the same thing about Denver missing Brian Dawkins.
Both teams had injuries going in and during the game.
That doesn’t change the fact that the Steelers were still the much better team who should have at least been able to win SU as a huge favorite.

Royal was a 90+ reception guy a few years ago.
Thomas is a #2 on half the teams in the league.
Decker a 70-80 catch guy on most teams. Great blocker.
Mcgahee still a quality RB (Was behind Rice the last few years on Balt)
There O-line is no doubt a top ten in the NFL. (The most important)
Not to take anything away from Tebow Yesterday, (He was great especially with the long ball) but you cannot say he does not have any talent around him on offense straightshooter.

Yeah it does because overtime those kind of stats sustain drives. Clearly if you throw 17 completions it would be more then that number you threw down but that is besides the point and I know what you're saying. I just think you can't keep living by 10-21 for 316. Just won't happen often at 31.6 yards a clip. Great on him and the Denver O together to get that but over time the shorter completions with some throws down the field is obviously the bets choice.

Prater should get more attention, but like I said the sports media doesn’t focus on who deserves the attention (or blame). They focus on whoever is best for ratings.
I’ve been saying for a long time that college’s need to put more emphasis on finding good kickers.
I don’t know if this is still the case, but I remember a few years ago Mack Brown didn’t even offer scholarships to kickers. To me that is simply insane. How is a 3rd string linebacker more important than a starting kicker?

I agree with this. Steelers no matter what should have won SU. I blame them for shitting the bed. I can't believe that D got blistered and looked that bad on their game plan. Just flat out blew it. 1-1 all day and Ike Taylor was pathetic. Tebow was great but Steelers D was more pathetic then tebow great.

You're still a goof! God, Shooter, how can you reason with morons like this??!!
A goof? Really eh? Where the fuck have you been in this whole thread? You pop up that last couple weeks after a handful of pokes here and there and I'm a moron with my opinion?
I was talking with shooter that over time 10-21 at 316 isn't going to get it done because that's impossible. You can't have 10 completions at 31.6 yards a clip all the time. Yeah, great game by tebow i admit but 17-21 is often better then 10-21 over the course of time.
Also, yeah I was soooo off last week when Tebow looked amazing right? Fuck off. I'm ashamed you like the bruins.

Tebow played very well yesterday no doubt about it. But what annoys me that if Tebow plays terrible the whole blame would be put on the defense, coaching, dropped passes, etc. And please dont tell me he does not have any weapons around him on offense.

You must not have watched the coverage after the loss last week to Kansas City.
This the NFL. Every team is going to have some offensive weapons. Tim Tebow just happens to have, arguably, one of the worst sets of them.

“How much credit does John Elway get for Tim Tebow’s performance against the Steelers” was the question Doug Stewart was asked on ESPN.
He replied “on a scale of 1-10 I’m going to give Elway a 10.” ![]()
Some of these Tebow haters would give credit to a guy selling programs in the parking lot before they gave it to Tebow.
