316 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, 3 TDs, and no turnovers against a defense that ranks #1 in points allowed, #1 in total defense, and #1 in passing yards allowed.
Yup, Tim Tebow sure does suck.
Sorry Shooter not ready to admit he's any good. Played a bunch of piss poor games against brutal d's and an great one against the best. Doesn't equal a verdict to me yet. A bunch of his throws we long bombs that could go either way. Still was only 10-21. I love the no turnovers and the rushing but mainly the calm. But again, it was because he hit those 2 bomb completions. Restored all confidence. Great game.

I guess it would have been better if they did what a lot of teams do with young QBs and complete a bunch of easy short yardage pass plays.
17-21 for 116 yards does look better than 10-21 for 316 yards.

Yeah it does because overtime those kind of stats sustain drives. Clearly if you throw 17 completions it would be more then that number you threw down but that is besides the point and I know what you're saying. I just think you can't keep living by 10-21 for 316. Just won't happen often at 31.6 yards a clip. Great on him and the Denver O together to get that but over time the shorter completions with some throws down the field is obviously the bets choice.

First off: if all you throw are easy and safe short yardage pass plays I’m not sure what leads you to believe it would “clearly” be more than 116 yards. It might be, but there is no guarantee that it would.
Also to claim a QB going 17-21 for 116 passing yards is better than going 10-21 for 316 passing yards is simply ridiculous.

These excuses on ESPN from the haters are hilarious.
My favorite though is the haters that are trying to give John Elway all the credit because he told Tebow to “pull the trigger.”
As if Tim Tebow was going to play like shit, but because Elway told him to “pull the trigger” he went on to have his best start of his NFL career and one of the best (statistically at least) games in NFL postseason history.
I heard someone on ESPN finally say something that I've been saying all along. Now I don't know what their initial take on this situation was because I haven't listened to them in a while but Mike and Mike were saying how in past big games, like San Diego and Chicago, you could find other guys to give the credit to. But this game...it was all Tim Tebow.
And I was shocked when I heard them actually look back on it and say Tebow wasn't the one to do it all in the past because he's the one who got all the credit.

In no way would I say 17-21 is better then 10-21 at 316. However, there is NO WAY you could continually put up 10-21 games at 31.6 yards a clip. Impossible in NFL. Just easier to play short with long throws mixed in.

And I'm not going to say he doesn't suck. You give all these stats based on one game. Matt Flynn had a great game too...does that mean he doesn't suck? Who knows. He's never been given the chance. If teams thought he was good enough (like Kolb), they would have offered the Packers something for him by now.

Really? The one you had for about the past two weeks?Well, if that is the same girl she looked much better in the first pic, IMO.
Well yea. I'm not one to usually post half naked girls (no offense, just that's what the majority does). I thought I'd put another one on since I had that one for so long.

I don’t think anyone on ESPN (not even Skip Bayless) said Tebow did it all himself during their 6 game win streak.

Well considering I heard Tebow set a postseason record for most yards per completion I would have to agree that he can’t continually do that.

I know, shooter is funny. You and I can come on here and say he played great and had a great game. After the weeks vs Buff and KC which could have been the worst performance by a qb in the history of the NFL Buff 13-29 185 yards 1td 3 int 37.9 rating KC 6-22 60 yards 1 int 20.6 rating
Shooter says "well he took a 1-4 team to the playoffs" lol
This Tebow thread is like a heavyweight fight. Blows on both sides. At least me and sparky can admit when we have been hit and tebow played well. You still give a runaround when he sucks balls in games and can't admit your hits.

Well...you'd see highlights of Matt Prater's kick and Willis McGahee's TD run. But headlines were always "Tebow does it again" and the breakdowns were on Tebow.

Damn Tim Tebow screwed me hard yesterday. I'm still happy for the Kid.
I told myself I was going to UNLOAD on the Team Total Over of whoever played the Pats in the playoffs. Denver is only team who kinda worries me.
I would also like to point out that I said John Fox should be blamed for some of the failures Tim Tebow had. His gameplan is/was too conservative. It was like that in the 1st Q too, until he finally realized you can't run on 1st and 10 with 8 man boxes.

You might not want to admit it: but no one who flat out sucks could do what Tebow did in that “one game.”
The Tebow and Flynn games aren’t even really comparable, IMO.
Tebow did his against the #1 defense in a postseason game while having more pressure on him than any other player in the postseason.
Flynn did his against a defense that is one of the 10 worst in the NFL in a meaningless game with no pressure.

I still think you should be okay. Denver will score some.
