Disagree with you on most of This topic, but agree 100% here. Whether Tebow is a good passer, bad passer, he is still in the nfl, played great in SEC career and won 7 pro games. Give him SOME respect. Even with lock down corners it's a huge gamble.   One on one the offense only has to win a small small percentage of the time and you are crushed . Especially if it's 1-1 all night so they know to play call against it.

I have to eat a little crow.  Tebow looked great yesterday.  Ill wait till I see some more consistency from him before jumping on the bandwagon though.

Tebow is by far one of the greatest rookie qb's ever!! No other qb in the nfl plays with heart, they just show up for a paycheck. Look at Brady, the most over rated qb ever in the nfl. He plays for and has become a cheater like his p.o.s coach. Just like when he fumbled against the raiders!

I agree. He puts that money to very good use.

This is BY FAR the highest traffic and written on thread. WTF is so damn polarizing about Tim Tewob?  get a hold of yourselves, he's not god and he also doesn't suck.

Comments like "the worst that ever played the game" are obviously trash and so are claims that he's ending Brady's, Manning's and millions of other players careers one 4th quarter at a time.   Jeeeeze...

316 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, 3 TDs, and no turnovers against a defense that ranks #1 in points allowed, #1 in total defense, and #1 in passing yards allowed.

Highest quarterback rating in NFL postseason history since they started tracking that stat.

Yup, Tim Tebow sure does suck.

Alright STRAIGHT TT did NOT suck SUNDAY. What a day for BELIEVERS EVERYWHERE

The fact all the 316's lined up is INCREDIBLY AMAZING and all the accomplishments TT achieved, has to go down in NFL history unlike any other Seriously, who in their right mind could have seen that coming especially after his pitiful performance vs KC. That is what is so much more impressive. Your comments about him getting more into rythym and flow of the game instead of forcing him to perform in 3rd and long situations is VERY ASTUTE.

In honor of TT miraculous performance and to stimulate this thread for one last week, might you "regift" your X-MAS present to all that might have misssed or update a better LUCY PINDER pic

THIS IS BY FAR AND AWAY THE BIGGEST STORY OF THE  NFL SEASON

The thread "too TOUGH to die"

Teams will adjust to tebow eventually, and he will not be an effective long term starting qb. I give him another year before denver fans are calling for his head honestly.

Tebow isn't a rookie- How can you not know this?

Brady the most overrated QB in the NFL? Get a clue. I don't care for him but he is a great QB. End of story.

One year? He has more playoff wins them matt Ryan in his career. Brady hasn't won a playoff game in three years, Eli won his first in three years this weekend. One year seems a bit short. There are 32 nfl teams and only 11 playoff wins a year for QB's to get. If you take away the champ there are 7 or 8 wins a year for the other  31 guys. So in theory a single playoff win every three years is AVERAGE.

I think next year unless they go 4-12, which is real hard in that division, he gets a free pass.

I think people are overreacting to his success, but also overreacting when he fails. He made some great passes on sunday there's no doubt, but he also had guys wide open and safeties completely out of position (troy polamalu freelance effect).

Ill stick by my position. He will struggle mightily in the future and eventually denver fans will tire of it. He won't get a free pass if he goes 8-8 next year, doesn't make the playoffs, and still is passing at a sub 50% clip.

Eventually teams are going to figure out the riddle that is the spread option. Teams with good down linemen will never have to cheat with their safeties, for some reason the steelers felt this was necessary but if you notice neither buffalo, nor kansas city cheated on the run with their safeties. Neither did new england.

Yeah, Tebow showed what he can do when Denver actually gives him chances to succeed early in games instead of only letting him throw on 3rd and long or when they are down late.

Haters can use excuses left and right for why he did well against the Steelers (and they have), but nothing can change the fact time after time Tebow was airing out deep passes that were right on the money.  After the game Thomas said every ball he caught was thrown perfectly and he didn’t have to make any adjustments at all.  Pretty good for a QB that allegedly can’t throw.

As for that Lucy Pinder pic:

I have to admit i have been a little wrong about Tebow so far. I never thought he would still be a starter in the NFL. But wow you have more excuses for this guy! Its like its your brother, cousin or best friend. I understand defending him a little from the haters but you defend him even when his other fans say something objectively about him.

Crusher gave me props for calling that Denver needed to let Tebow find a rhythm by throwing early and not just on 3rd and long and I was responding to it.  Even when there is nothing to bitch about you still find something to bitch about.

any qb could complete passes to his WR that are wide open.  i still think these games are scripted to provide entertainment like wrestling was. never heard rules being explained during a coin toss before. and still pitt fell for a long pass on the 1st play of overtime. any moron would of looked for a deep pass on that play....wouldn't you of ???

Tebow didn’t truly play well because he’s just an actor playing a role in the scripted NFL.

Kobe Bryant was asked about Tebow after the Steelers game.

He responded with “the guy wins and if he was an asshole he would have told everyone to kiss his ass.”

Of course Tebow would never say that, but he probably was thinking this towards his haters:

The Broncos/Steelers game was the most watched TV program since the Super Bowl and the most watched wildcard playoff game ever.

Tebow is the biggest draw in all of sports right now and an absolute ratings machine.

Sorry haters, expect a steady dose of Tim Tebow for a while.
