Last week WAS a playoff game. Win and you're in. And once again, Romo choked with some help from Pacman and Barber.

    Check the highlights:

    DAL - PHI Week 17

McNabb was dead on accurate - especially the pass to DeSean Jackson.

Like I said, I take McNabb. Although I'd KILL to have Romo as my wingman in the club.

Ha ha! I just logged on to see this thread was revived...

Looking back, this is some hilarious stuff...

Anyway, no way around it, my Cowboys PHUCKING sucked! BUT, with an O-line giving him time and not committing a penalty on every other play and WR's who actually TRY to get open and run good routes I'd still take Romo. IMO Romo is NOT the problem. Sure, he's careless with the football at times, but, I still feel he's not the problem. One thing he does NEED to do though is finally step up and take on the role of team leader, the Cowboys desperately need that from him.

That's my main problem with Romo, he doesn't appear to be a good leader.

The question was who would you rather have for the 2008 season?

I think ROMO -- because before this season I was thinking this guy is a magician, some of the passes he was making last season. Plus the Cowboy were coming off a dominating season in which Romo was I think their Best player something like 35TDs?

If you ask me today I would rather have Mcnabb --

Although both are great QBs I would be hesitant to start to sign either to a long term contract now.

    Hands down Mcnabb !!!

Romo is a turnover machine, Mcnabb on the other hand has 1 of lowest interception rates in history.

Turnovers are to important to winning in the NFL.

    No brainer.

Donovan is twice the QB Romo ever will be,

If Romo played anywhere else he would have been a second stringer at best

Take off the blinders, homer!  Are you kidding me???  Quit giving excuses for Romo's poor performance in clutch games.  Time...after time...after time...after time.  Oh wait...after time...after time.

You have all the proof you need.  This argument and thread can be officially put to rest!

Mc Nabb is more consistent and he knows when pressure is coming.. cover the ball....not to try to force a play that will be already doomed like Romo usually do

The def was there all year (most of the time).  The fact that they finally ran a bit more and #5 play was what really turned it around.

Trust me, I'm a season tix holder and follow this team.

According to your theory, the backup Kolb would have put them in the same position.  Wrong.

Where did TO have more success?

McNabb was past his prime in 2008, healthy or not.  If you asked about 2005 or something when McNabb could really burn you with his legs...probably get a different answer.

    Romo.

Romo has TO to throw to I see what McNabb did with TO. I also have seen Mcnabb win playoff games without any real WR.

Until Romo shows you something other then regular season this is a no brainer.

Guess ROMO still hasn't won a BIG GAME

I can't believe this is a discussion, I don't see the comparison,Mcnabb is a top 10 Qb in the league, Romo might make the top 25...If the Cowboy homers pick him....Romo has plenty of weapons. Who does McNabb have ?

Fantasy Football usually grades a player by his performance on a scoring system, not by winning games I uderstand that (ex. K Collins).  They had Romo going as high in the 1st round and lowest was 3rd round, while McNabb went in the middle rounds.
