I would've voted for McNabb at the beginning of the season. In fact, I would even take a kid like Colt Brennan over Romo and we haven't even seen Brennan play. Why the fuck isn't that kid starting in this league. We have fellas like Jason Campbell, JP Losman, Kyle Orton, Dan Orlovsky, Shaun Hill, JaMarcus Russell, etc. and we can't get a guy into the starting line up who can actually read a defense and win a few ball games with his feet and arm. The QB position in the NFL is pathetic....worst in many years.

Lakers---nice whiny-ass post.  Typical frontrunner bullshit mentality.

You are like a ten yr. old, posting all kinds of shittalk when the season wasn't even over.  I hope you learned your lesson young man.  Save your shittalk for when your player and team ACTUALLY back it up!

I love how you call the dogs off.   Practically begging people not to respond to your dumb ass thread that strated this way back when.  I bet you don't do that again.  Lesson learned, we hope.

Thanks for providing us w/some humor.  You're mindlessness has been great!

Keep on muttering/cryin' your phrase..."That's my quarterback man..."----------------You and TO can have him.

mcnabb hands down. proven winner. probablly has won more games with less talent than any other qb in history. look at the talent around romo and he still hasnt won a playoff game. what a joke overrated

It all depends on what day it is. McNabb doesnt know theres a tie one day...voting goes to Romo  Romo looses to McNabb in week 14 and the wishy washy public posts McNabb. I dont think Romo is even in question should he be on any other team than the Americas team that slowly looseing their faithful. Romos soon to have Werners stockboy job when Jerry finally gets fed up enough to swallow his paycheck.

Glad to see someone locate this thread. Good stuff!

Stick to watching the Lakers LakerFan74.  Still believing that Romo is better baffles me. Romo is as average as can be. Stop making excuses for him. He sucks balls.

I don't know whats worse. You thinking Romo is better than McNabb, or Hustleman thinking Odom is better than Kobe. You're slightly creeping up on him.

Cant wait to see some of you chime in IF the Eagles lose today. Todays game has no bearing as to which QB is better.

I dislike both but McNabb has less and does more, so I love the Lakers but it's Donovan.

WCTRojan---I agree.  "If" the Eagles lose,  you can guarantee that a certain bozo will be chiming in.  Funny thing is one has nothing to do w/the other.  Actually it does, #5 @ least got his team to the playoffs last week in the head to head.

WCTRojan---I agree.  "If" the Eagles lose,  you can guarantee that a certain bozo will be chiming in.  Funny thing is one has nothing to do w/the other.  Actually it does, #5 @ least got his team to the playoffs last week in the head to head.

Romo has multiple weapons at all the skill positions around him.  Who does McNabb have?  All McNabb has is Westbrook and a rookie WR who makes stupid play after stupid play to hurt his team.  Give me the proven QB who has at least won in the playoffs before.

I love how you call the dogs off.   Practically begging people not to respond to your dumb ass thread that strated this way back when.  I bet you don't do that again.  Lesson learned, we hope.

Thanks for providing us w/some humor.  You're mindlessness has been great!

AGAIN, when YOUR TEAM and YOUR QB were playing garbage football and several of us were calling you out you were NOWHERE to be found! The only 10 year old here is YOU! You were hiding in your mommys closet when we were all calling you out!

C'mon WCT, gimme a break buddy...McNabb is not CLEARLY better than Romo. It may appear that way right now just because of how the season ended, but like I said, we know McNabb is NOT clearly better than Romo. It's an argument, you could make a case for either guy... HOWEVER, Kobe is obviously better than Odom...bad analogy in my opinion.

Another thing to consider is the experience factor and where each QB is at in their careers. McNabb has many years of experience in the league while Romo finished just his 2nd full season as an NFL starting QB. I've stated before that QB's become MUCH better in their first 3-5 seasons in the NFL as a starter...it's the learning curve. Romo is still learning. As he gains experience he should begin to limit his mistakes and become more careful with the football. He should also become better and more advanced at reading defenses and simply making better decisions out there. Again, like I've stated on this before, let's give Romo the same number of years to gain the experience and see where he ends up at the same stage McNabb is currently in. I guess that would mean we would need to give Romo about another 6-8 seasons before truly passing judgment on him. At the current point in his career, just completing his 2nd season as a starter, I think it's fairly obvious that he's way ahead of that learning curve. Where he'll end up we'll just have to wait and see...

So Romo playing poorly last couple games has bearing, but if McNabb throws 4picks today it has no bearing??

some people on covers are really not very smart.

I already congratulated Eagles fans on the victory, and honestly after the fact, McNabb played better when it mattered, that's a fact. Did it suck? sure did, but the truth is the truth.

    Very well said...

I think there's a lot of over-reaction going on simply based on the final couple games of the season...especially the final game, the head-to-head battle.

So let me get this straight. If McNabb throws for 4 picks today, Romo is better than him?  You idiot. I'm sure your book loves you.

Another thing to consider is the experience factor and where each QB is at in their careers. Even after you typed all this, you still think Romo is the better QB. Your question was "Who would you rather have at QB for 2008" NOT "Hey, who would you rather have if both guys had the same experience?"  Get a grip Cowgirl fan. My same argument against Romo could be what if McNabb had the same weapons as Dallas?  That would be stupid. Your argument that Romo doesnt have the same experience as McNabb, YET, I still would rather have Romo is retarded. Continue to believe Romo is the answer for your girls. YOu are only a few of all Cowboy fans who actually believe he's the answer.
