The problem with Romo, he is in the mold of good QB'S that are risk takers and he pays the price with INTERCEPTIONS.

Last season as good as he was, he still threw 19 int., the most in the league was 20.

Players like this don't do "as well" in the post season.

Just ask Farve, with 1 SB Win in 16 years, and then ask Brady with 3 SB Wins in first 4 years has a starter.

Farve cost his teams over and over again in the postseason with INT in critical parts of a game, including last year with a INT on the 2cd play of overtime that lead to G-men winning field goal.

While Brady produced the best playoff INT Rate in the history of NFL after his 1st 4 years as a starter, and 3 SB Wins.

Mcnabb has one of lowest int. rates in history.

    2007
Romo -- int 3.7% of passes
    Mcnabb -- 1.5% of passes

The numbers don't lie. If you've ever watched McNabb in a live game, try and make an accurate pass to a reciever enroute, he either sails it over his head, or bounces it at the defenders feet in front of him.

McNabb does deserve some credit for his accomplishments. He has one of the best win pct. of any QB ever o play the position. BUT he's not even a half decent QB when it comes to the prototypical passer. He's inaccurate as hell in games/pressure situation.  He relied on his legs, strength, defense, backfield recievers, and system to get to where he is today. If him and Tom Brady would have been put into one anothers shoes to start their careers, McNabb may of never seen the field in NE, but Brady sure as hell would of bettered McNabbs career as an Eagle.

Bump this thread a couple of weeks in and see how everyone feels about Mcnabb.

    Eagles schedule:

    Vs. Rams

    @ Cowboys

    Vs. Steelers

    @ Bears

    Vs. Redskins

    @ 49'ers

    BYE

IF they lose to the Rams week 1, then look ahead to week 4 where they will be 0-3 flying to Chic. for a sunday night game. Then back home for  the skins, and a possible 0-5 plain ride out to SF for a tuff game before the bye. Get over McNabb, he's junk. He will be remembered for throwing up on himself in his only superbowl. I'm no big fan of Romo's, but i KNOW DMAC is a below average QB

For just this season, McNabb. Romo still has the deer in headlights look in big games.

It's pretty funny to read this thread now.  I wonder if any would rethink their vote?

This is like choosing between kissing your sister, or kissing your cousin. In that argument, I choose my cousin. In this one I choose McNabb. Mostly because McNabb never made TO cry in a press conference.

"That's my teamate. That's my quarterback. If you blame him that's unfair, we lost as a team."

Remember when voting to consider the players health, proneness to injury, and overall toll his body has taken.

this comment makes it pretty obvious which side of the argument you are on...

but the answer is very easy: McNabb... no contest... i'll take the risk of injury (even though McNabb had no injury problems this year and Romo did) for a proven winner every day of the week...
