Big Niner, I guess we'll just forget about the previous umpteen times the Niners lost to Green Bay in the playoffs..............

Both games this year could have went either way, and both went SF...thats how things go

SF had injuries as well, but not to the extent of GB

Just saying...if we werent missing 3 d line starters, 2 lbs and 2 corners, I like our chances

Even if they were 100% healthy I'd still give Seahawks a slight edge as best team in NFC. Especially is Seattle was healthy with browner and Sherman, but GB is in the discussion.

On a side note, the Dolphins play the packers next year (in Miami) and you still use too many emoticons 

 

NFC is tough, but I see at full-strength GB, Sea and SF being the top 3 and it not being very close

Yes, and maybe we will keep in touch because I will be going to that Miami game  My brother and his family moved to Tampa 3 years ago, so I will for sure be going to that game.  I go to atleast 1 road game every year.....this year was Dallas and it was amazing

I was sour after one GB loss a few years back against NY but what can you do. 

I gave SF credit last year, and gave them it again after last night. 

Like I said, both games this year could have been won be either team, and of course both went to SF

4 in a row is 4 in a row, nothing else you can do about it.  As for GB beating them in the past, people usually forget about that and only worry about what happened lately. 

Packers will be back in the playoffs next year, so I am sure they will have another chance against SF

Yeah you better hope you don't see SF or NY Giants in the playoffs if you ever want to advance.  Pack are 0-7 against these teams in the last 2 years with 3 of those losses at Lambeau Field!

Absolutely correct. The penalty would have been accepted had they blocked it and Dawson would have had another shot, 5 yards closer.  People seem to gloss over that fact.

Eeks/Josh----I didnt notice the flag until much later...Wouldnt have mattered either way like you both say as he would have had another chip shot   Actually would have sucked more for him to have blocked it then get a re-kick.

I thought rodgers was absolutely phenomenal given the conditions in this game and the defense he was up against. The niners are just a flat out better team but superman almost pulled it off despite being completely out talented everywhere at every position. If jones could catch the packers win this game, period.

Any Healthy Team in the NFL at this point in the season can be consider the BEST. Week #1 SF missing CRABTREE and still balled. GB is no match for SF, don't normally drop by these treads but your thread title and post just had some conflicts lol.............

No match for SF???  Gb led the game in the 4th qtr in both games this year....how are they no match?  Because they lost by 6 and lost by 3??  Yeah that makes sense...Each game this year could have been won by both teams and SF got both.  Next year is a new year.

This is kinda off the topic but Colin's biological mother reached out to him last year before the SB and he did not respond .  I do not believe it was for monetary purposes but maybe to let him know why she gave him up for adoption.  I feel he should acknowledge her as he would not be where he is today if she had not given him up.  I think this simple gesture of acknowledgement is enough, until he does the karma that hangs over him will always haunt him IMO.  I know this is a controversial topic so I hope u don't mind me mentioning this in ur thread.  If I have offended anyone I am truly sorry.

I'd like to see the Packers upgrade on Quarless. Quarless isn't the touchdown threat, Finley was.

I agree, but I wouldnt use a high pick.  Offense is the least of their worries...

They didnt even really get to play this year healthy as Rodgers, Lacy and Cobb didnt play together much at all...

They need much more help on D than worrying about a TE

Why should he acknowledge her?  Where was she when he was growing up as a child, in high school, playing in college, etc?  She conveniently tries to reach out to him when he finally becomes something in the NFL while leaking her story to the press?  Colin has a family and parents that have been with him through it all already.

Kevmode - yes easily the worst team in the entire playoffs and with barely winning 8 games definitely did not belong in the playoffs hosting a game against a 12 win team.

They went 6-2 with Rodgers starting moron.....do you expect teams who lose a top 1-2 QB in the NFL to do well without him

Im sorry the Giants are one of the worst teams in the NFL right now and for the next 3 years atleast

These debates lead to no where.

What ever serves you happiness........GB the BEST team if healthy .........YES I am sure 16 out of the 32 teams feels strongly about this, and the other 16 teams are thinking if FULLY healthy they are that one player away.

That is how GB D has been all year....I am willing to make the largest bet I have ever made that their D led the league in giving up scoring drives immediately following a GB scoring drive

Almost every single game this year, when GB would score, the opp would go right down the field and score again
