Knew it was going to be a close one

Did anybody see that replay of the kick???  It went through the guys arm on the block

Could GB D be any worse on 3rd and long?  Pretty sure SF converted about 7 3rd and 9 or longer

Thanks for the drops today Jones

Maybe GB will learn next year that when the QB is faster than you are, dont let him run to the outside

Not awful for missing half your defense

Lacy...great season...you will be a beast for many years to come

A healthy GB team is the best team in the NFC

Great game....good win SF....good luck in the playoffs

Healthy GB team ? I wouldn't say best in NFC .... But a darn tough one to beat especially with A ROD ...... Yes lacy just need to lose some fat with his fatasss and become faster he would be a beast in the future ..... I have no idea other teams didn't draft him ahead of GB .... He is a beast .

Seeing the missed Rodgers for 7+ games, Lacy for 2+, Cobb for 8+, Finley for 7+, Matthews for 5+, Jolly, Shields and so on.....

By the time the 2nd half started, 6 defensive starters were out of their lineup...

Cant complain for their season...no team had more opening day starters miss more minutes than GB...they will be dangerous for years to come

    pack- what a frustrating season.

you enter the year thinking you're going to have better luck with the injuries and this turns out to be the worst one.

fuking mike mccarthey.   I like him, but boy did he blow it a couple of times late in the year.   the end of the Pittsburgh game.  and then first and goal from the 10, you waste a down running it.   as if you're going to pound the 49'ers defense with randall cobb.

micah hyde dropping the int was the game right there.

not spying kapaernick on 3rd and long.   dom capers has a way of making kap look like a hof qb.   and the coverage breakdowns continued in the first half.   the 4th and 6.   sooo frustrating.

they need to draft lamarcus joyner from fsu in the first round then find an ilb and a center (dietrich-smith suks and brad jones is invisible out there)

micah hyde dropping the int was the game right there.

not spying kapaernick on 3rd and long.   dom capers has a way of making kap look like a hof qb.   and the coverage breakdowns continued in the first half.   the 4th and 6.   sooo frustrating.

they need to draft lamarcus joyner from fsu in the first round then find an ilb and a center (dietrich-smith suks and brad jones is invisible out there)

Ive always been a big fan of McCarthy....however, this year he really has had some awful moments in 3+ games atleast...That said I still really like him as the coach of this team.

Capers has to go, plain and simple

In the draft, it should be all defense, unless we can sneak a solid TE.

The D needs some new corners, and atleast 2 more pass rushers.  Without Matthews on the outside, they have no rush at all.  I still think Jones can be good cause of his ability, but he was poor this year.

Just a couple pieces away, they will be fine

Yeah, Hyde dropping that pick was rough...tough play though.  That run to Cobb was poor call.  Jones had a few big drops.

In the end 3rd down was the reason SF won....they converted huge times, and GB couldnt...

    Tough game...almost blocked fg

fuking mike mccarthey.   I like him, but boy did he blow it a couple of times late in the year.   the end of the Pittsburgh game.  and then first and goal from the 10, you waste a down running it.   as if you're going to pound the 49'ers defense with randall cobb.

Aaron Rodgers is 31 and not getting younger.

That window is closing alittle bit every day.

The dropped int was huge.  They let the QB escape too many times.  It was a helluva game, even tho I had Pack.

earlier in the game, the 4th and 6.   what is about guys running wide open on green bay.   is the scheme too complicated?  do the players not understand it?

and yes kobezking,  look how close the game was, and that was with a depleted team- starting ot bulaga, finley the te, Mathews, johnny jolly, casey heyward the young db.  3 weak areas (safety, ilb, c) upgraded in the off season and a healthy aaron Rodgers in that sh*t division, green bay will be at worst hosting in the first round if not having the bye.

Shields going out killed the coverage too....

Plus, our only rush Neal goes down in the 1st half...

Pretty sure the D had about 3 opening day starters on the field at the end of the game

Yeah, the 4th down was brutal too...but I would rather see Kap have to throw for it then an easy run like he had 3 or more times today

It was a tough loss, but adding the injuries tonight not sure we would have done well with Car....

I just think its time to get rid of Capers and bring in new minds/ideas...

I agree, no reason other than another season with the most injuries in the NFL, that GB isnt sitting at a #1-#3 seed the next 3/4 years

    Yes I do

Seeing that both games this year, GB had the lead in the 4th qtr, both games could have gone either way....both have went the way of SF...

But, next year is a new year

Cant complain for their season...no team had more opening day starters miss more minutes than GB...they will be dangerous for years to come

Not unless they fire their entire strength and training staff, injuries have been a problem with this team since 2010; it's what's holding them back from winning multiple Bowls. Second most injured team in the league this year...getting pretty ridiculous.

Well...I dont remember all the injuries of all the players, but I dont think the training/strength staff could change that???

Rodgers injury happens no matter what....

Lacy had a concusion and sprained ankle...

Cobb got drilled on the knee...

    Finley freak concusion...

Matthews broken finger on to freak plays....

I dont see how a strength staff changes that?

went 3-0-1 this week with a push on the Pack but that one hurts.  Both times after Pack score 7 49ers came right back and answered.  Pack D needs an overhaul and they will be back

    Nice job

I laid a fat egg ....Ironic part is I bet 2 over/unders and 1 spread...and if I would have taken the teams i liked in the total games and total I liked in the game I took a team, i go 3-0

    But, thats gambling thought

That is how GB D has been all year....I am willing to make the largest bet I have ever made that their D led the league in giving up scoring drives immediately following a GB scoring drive

Almost every single game this year, when GB would score, the opp would go right down the field and score again

    Good luck next week

Hoping to make some back tomorrow night with Auburn ML

Discount Double Check needs big help on the D side

I'm kidding ofcourse, Aaron Rodgers could easily get 1 more in his career, well not easily but when the season starts they will always have a chance with him.

Even if they were 100% healthy I'd still give Seahawks a slight edge as best team in NFC. Especially is Seattle was healthy with browner and Sherman, but GB is in the discussion.

On a side note, the Dolphins play the packers next year (in Miami) and you still use too many emoticons

Injuries cop out. 49ers weren't healthy today or in week 1; or in the playoffs last season when they beat GB. It kind of discredits the Niners win when you preface it by saying Packers weren't healthy.

4-0 last 4 against GB. Let's call it what it is and move on.
