I am supposed to fear the giants and be worried that mccarthy is gbs head coach?
Ok....lets add this up....
4-0 to end the season in '06 13-3 regular season in '07 1-0 in the '07 playoffs.
18-3 in his last 21 games. Mc carthy is doing just fine. The 3 losses by the way.
vs chicago in a game where gb completly dominated in the first half and chi came out of nowhere to win. . @ chicago where it was 84 below and 65mph winds. The game was a complete mess and it was not a good indication of who the better team was.
@ Dallas where Favre didnt even play the 2nd half due to injury.
The Giants are DOOMED. I am telling you. Favre is picking people APART, plus Grant is a phenom. GB blows them OUT of the stadium.

So building a case for GB is "overlooking" the giants? Give it up. This is a dream scenario for GB. Favre is 0-9 in Dallas. There is no reason in the world gb shouldnt win this game by big time double digits. If I am wrong feel free to mock my until next year. But....I am not.

Giants defense looked pretty damn good today and they will get to Favre more than any team this season.
Greyhound, the biggest Pack homer knows this is no lock by any means.
The Pack better put Eli on his a$$ all game long or it will be a tough game for them to win.
True WallCapper but Romo is no Farve.Favre has the experience and game experience to win.Eli is as shakey as they come but the defense is really good but not enough come Sunday.

GB fan here... this weekend was def dream come true.
BUT, lets stay realistic. Don't call this game a lock. Favre does not like to stay in the pocket and face a rush. GB o-line is solid, but you have to expect the G-men to apply some pressure and Favre to chuck some balls off his back foot.
That being said... Giant LB and DB corps seemed mediocre to start and are limping into this game. A typical GB game plan of quick slants to Jennings and Driver should find some open space over the middle and big YACs if the secondary doesn't tackle well.
Also, keep in mind how bad GB played in the cold/wind in CHI. They handled the snow this week, but bitter cold makes Favres passes hard to catch.
