4 times this year the bears played teams with winning records. they even lost to the giants who you bet on Sunday and then after 16 weeks and you betting them said they were pathetic. the bears schedule was weak.
the last 6 weeks the eagles went 5-1 beat 2 division winners and lost to another in OT. they got a few of their injured players back and are coming together at the right time. This will be a close game. the eagles and 6 plus the ML.
you will be crying after the fact and be full of excuses. thats your m.o....stick to that your good at it

good convo here. I think its a tough one to cap. I was thinking this line would be closer to 4/4.5 so its a little surprising the champs are getting 6+ against inexperience, so it does come off at a bears line.

Eagles secondary cast is sketchy right now, but the pass rush (and timmy jernigan return has really helped in last three games for the ends and cox to get after trubisky) is as good as its been all season. You would think Nagy will get the ball out of the young qbs hand early and use cohen in a lot of ways, but i think hell need to attack downfield every now and then and hit those plays to cover this line. I am not so sure that they can, but if so bears can win this.

The other side of the ball i think the eagles can win if they have productivity in the run game. Doesnt have to be 5+ a carry and 20+ times, but getting those early down yards and keeping chicago honest will help.

Not a big bet, but im taking champs with points.

How much do you trust the Bears placekicker if it comes down to a last play fg?

DO Not fall into this trap Eagles play better with foles he moves ball around better to all players

“Healthier than ever”? 6 defensive backs gone for the year....3 starters. Have you watched Jason Peters THIS YEAR? The Eagles will need extra help blocking so is there where Darren Sproles comes in? Adams? and here we go again with the “experience” factor. Yesssss, it matters but did it matter last year with Philly who had a backup qb and a rookie head coach? I love how Eagles backers think experience is this huuuuuge factor yet they were the most inexperienced in the playoffs at key positions both on and off the field last year. It’s Foles and experience....that’s all I’ve heard all week.

It's not really that.  I can tell you, us Eagles fans were cautiously optimistic with Foles in the playoffs last year.  We were hoping for the best, but didn't know how he would respond.  Foles has proven the pressure doesn't get to him and he plays his best on the biggest stage.

We have yet to find out how Trubisky will play on the same stage.  Maybe he has that "it" factor, maybe he doesn't.  No one knows yet.

Thats what I mean when I refer to the experience factor.

2017 EAGLES, HAVE ALL WON OR BEEN TO A SUPER BOWL.

I'm sure Trubisky watched a Super Bowl or two on tv.

See, we're still on the honeymoon, we fought our way back into the playoffs. We won the Super Bowl already. What has this Bears team done? Beat a weak azz division? If Dallas doesn't recover the mystery fumble, then we're division winners. We're playing with house money. You're insane if you think I'll wager anything with you. Our starting CBs (all 3), starting safety, starting QB, starting RB are all out for the year. This doesn't even include the other rash of injuries throughout the season. I don't expect the Eagles to win. If they do though, you might as well disappear from here cuz you're gonna get BLASTED.

There’s no difference from last year’s Philly team going into the playoffs and this year’s Bears team going into the playoffs. That’s MY POINT. Foles wasn’t proven before last year and Trubiky isn’t proven yet this year. The Pats were the more experienced team in the Super Bowl yet Foles and Dougy beat them. Coming into this game, yes, the Eagles have more experience but why does that give them edge when the experience factor was trumped by the Eagles last year. Experience is a great thing but if that is the ONLY thing people are pointing towards come Sunday, god help the Eagles. I respect your views brotha, I do but experience doesn’t single handedly stamp ones ticket to the next round. You and so both know that amigo.

Everything you said is correct, Nick Foles was an unknown as far as how will he play in the pressure of playoff football.  He proved he actually excel's when the pressure is on.  He's the anti-mcnabb.

How will Trubisky respond to that situation?  We don't know yet.  Maybe he'll excel, maybe he won't respond under the pressure.  I'm not saying until he proves it, we're supposed to assume he can't handle it.  That would be stupid.

In Foles there is a known quality that he plays his best when the pressure is on,  with Trubisky it's the same unknown that Foles faced last year.

Thats the advantage that I'm referring to when it comes to experience

I’ve wasted so much time with you; after reading your crap above when my Bears rim, I won’t run it in. I got nothing left in here with you. You are an absolute clown. You sh@t talk but won’t ante up and then you have no faith in your team. It’s all about last year with you. Well hey....I can play that card too right? In 85 we won the super bowl so we’re pkaying with house money 34 years later. Sounds dumb right? Yeah it does yet I’m not surprised by how your weak a$$ is playing your cards. Pathetic

All I know is, we can sit here for the next day and a half counter-arguing the points.  We'll find out on Sunday.

The Bears had the better season and earned the right to play at home, that's why they're favored to win.  I'm obviously a homer, but there are so many similarities to what everyone said last year about this team, and what they're saying this year.  That's why we were an under dog all e playoff games last year.

Yes, last year won't help them this Sunday, and yet I have this feeling they're playing their best football of the season, have a team that's experienced all this and knows what to expect and how to handle it, and just feel like they've been given a second life when everyone left them for dead, which can be a dangerous thing if they play confident and loose.

    We'll see on Sunday

You weren't even alive in '85 bruh. I'm in your head, and petting your belly. I hope I ruined your day.

And last year's Eagles team is NOTHING like this Bears team. You just confirmed how much you know about the NFL.

I'm sure Trubisky watched a Super Bowl or two on tv.

hilarious how you just completely ignored the experience factor last year. This is just Super Bowl experience, not even talking playoff experience. Has anyone on your trash team even been in the playoffs? ever?

They're anything BUT a trash team FallopianTuber.

You don't "accidentally" get to 12-4 with one of the best defenses in football.

I hope we win on Sunday, if not, I'll congratulate the Bears fans and root for the Bears going forward in the playoffs

each week is a new season, so both teams are 0-0 so not sure what you're talking about with the 12-4 crap. Rooting for the Bears going forward? yeah, try doing that in S. Philly.

After reading this whole thread, my opinion of Chicagoan fans has NOT changed. Whenever one of their sports' teams even gets a sniff at a championship, they sit or stand around belching and farting and bloviating about what their team is going to do to the other team on Sunday.

What I hear is my schwanz is bigger than your schwanz or my Dad can lick your Dad...da Bears, da Bears, da Bears...

In ancient Greek theater when a character suffered from this mindset, it was written that he suffered from 'hubris'.

To the Greeks, hubris referred to extreme pride, especially pride and ambition so great that they offend the gods and lead to one's downfall. Hubris was a character flaw often seen in the heroes of classical Greek tragedy, including Oedipus and Achilles. The familiar old saying "Pride goeth before a fall" is basically talking about hubris.

In memory of the late, great Papa Joe Chevalier:
