PB bears offense is definitely there weakness - you need a more dynamic offense - sure they play just well enough 2 win that game? You can’t rely on the defense every game for a bailout

They have the basics in place...i really dont know why they didnt run more early on...that was a huge error...the bears need a serious threat at WR and a legit TE, add these 2 pieces and Bears will have a complete offense...Trubisky is who is he...a young growing qb...but he didnt turn it over which was nice to see (i realize he shouldve been picked twice but wasnt)

I’ve seen this kid play and at times yeah he misses throws and makes bad decisions but aside from Mahomes, Brees, Russ and Luck this year, name me a qb who hasn’t  made mistakes or bad games. I’ve never said Trubisky is a star qb but he has the tools to be one. Nobody can deny that. People look at the Rams game as this debacle and as much as it was, that was his first game back after being out two games. People in this forum have ranted and raved about Goff ywtbwhat was his excuse for throwing 3-4 picks in that Chicago game? The weather?! Really? So to some gets the benefit of the doubt with all the weapons he has but Trubisky doesn’t? In my eyes, when you have a top 3 defense, you don’t a qb who is gonna set the world on fire. You simply need a guy who can take care of the ball and make the necessary reads to get his team into good situations. Foles is a very good qb but he has a weakness just like every qb out there and imo I feel it will get exposed Sunday...his lack of mobility. Look at Brady when he’s lost. In the big games he’s lost it’s been his mobility that has been the issue. He’s the GOAT yet when he plays GREAT defenses, he CAN and HAS struggled at times. You know Fangio will get Foles off his spot and you know Fangio will bring pressure from all different angles. If Foles can will his team to a win in Chicago this Sunday, aside from the Super Bowl, I firmly believe it would be his next best moment given how good this Bears defense is. My opinion.....I don’t see it happening though.
Good luck this week Achilles, I agree Trubisky doesn't have to be good for Chicago to win game since their defense is great, he just need to NOT make big mistakes but at same time 6pts is still huge against a Super Bowl winner with most of the same players back from last year and proven experience in big game counts a lot, I'm just going to do a teaser or staying away from this game.
If someone told me before the game that PHI only scores 16 I'd have layed the 6.5 and not the damn ML -250 (OUCH!).

Whooda thunk that CHI does not score 23 minimum at home?

The pen is mightier than the pigs

They're legit TE was in street close on the sideline. Hurt his groin late in practice 2 days before the game.

His absence was why they lacked dynamic formations(particularly in the 1H)

Imagine gameplaning all week then scrambling in the last hours to come up with a gameplan minus a TE who can split out or line up in the slot.

Burton was a big loss. Rather unfortunate how things happen sometimes

Trubisky is a game manager - bears fans ok with him being the franchise QB?  Sure you can win the super bowl with average QB- but your defense better be - super elite

UnderSac...i didnt know that about Burton...this is why i am a recreational nfl capper.

Chauster...i do know what to consider when deciding on whether to make a wager or pass...it doesnt take a genius to know playoff games can come down to a final fg attempt...Hankey Pankey wouldnt be on my roster if it was up to me...but im not making those type of decisions so its only something i can predict with experience.

Finding a legit fg kicker in the nfl has always been a hard thing...we are spoiled with Vinateiri, Tucker, Bailey, Janikowski, and going back Morten Andersen and Vanderjait...but todays kickers are just not made the same...the money they get nowadays doesnt breed that drive or desire to get better out of fear of losing their jobs...however, if a guy clearly sucks and chokes on gimmes, you have to cut him immediately and find a newbie who had a decent college career and give them a shot at league minimum salary...you have nothing to lose at that point...look at the kid from Cleveland...Joseph did a good job almost immediately to squash the Browns kicking controversy from the first few games...had they made the move to cut the choker one game earlier, perhaps Cleveland would have made the playoffs this year.

    Fair enough PB

The Bears GM Ryan Pace's worst(and only really bad move) was letting Robbie Gould go to save a few bucks.

And it bit him in the a s s hard yesterday.

Also, Parkey missed a fg vs Miami. Coulda had another W for the year. Coulda had a bye this week?

If I am one of those trolls, I must note that had they made the kick, I would not be silent. They would´ve won but not covered. Same thing if Philadelphia would´ve failed to score on that 4th & goal.

Also, one of the interceptions is on Foles, the other one he has 0% of the blame. He is sort of an Alex Smith. Nothing fancy but he commits to the gameplan and executes it.
Anyways, all good and time to move on. BOL next weekend.

Tough beat Achillies but you handled it well! Many of your haters will not forgive so quickly so continue to ignore them or kill them with kindness as you have done thus far and they will disappear. If they don't, that's their problem....not yours.

....He played a horrible 1st half and should have been picked off 3 times...including 1 easy pick 6..and at the end of the half a dropped gimme pick in the end zone....Eagled DB's could not catch the ball....2nd half Eagled DB - Maddox was jumping routes and got burned on the double moves...You make trubisky go off his 1st read and he below average QB...Nagy runs a college offense for him, which will have to change in the future in the Bears are to go further....He has great stats when throwing the ball under 2.5 seconds, which mean 1st reads...screens and dump off's to Cohen..short 3 -5 yard passes...Yes..he is a game manager presently with an elite defense.

So much Bears love it really was surprising. I guess most people disregarded their 2nd easiest SOS, a turnover prone mediocre QB that's never been in a big game (along with 90% of the team) and rookie HC. It all spelled Eagles+$225 for me.

This Eagles team feeds off of disrespect & that's what they heard all week on every TV show & radio show. They'll hear the same thing this week. Eagles+$300

Nice post Gambleholicpeace_5 Taken from a leaguecappers page as he always does and works well and now my bud Achilles is doing the same....Ignore the haters that come in and bash as many of them do appear to be prospects or rookies mostly first time posters or someone in affiliation to keep followers from winning as both above mentioned handicappers are quite excellent at what they do and these @sses come in to bash and why they are NOT eliminated by the covers lineman immediately when they do so as Achilles has mentioned is beyond me and indeed has me shaking my head in disbelief that it's not cleaned up when noticed.peace
