Does anyone know who has the highest passer rating in post season history ? 

That's right, NIck Foles.

You serious? I'd think the public would be all over the Bears seeing how good they've been (particularly the defense ofc) all year going up an Eagles team that wasn't very good for the majority of the year.

Supported by the lines now moving up to Eagles +6.5 giving people the opportunity to take Eagles +7.

They shouldn't take the Eagles and the points.  We have no playmakers, our secondary is shot, our OL is a sieve, and Nick Foles is a fluke.

That's what I'm saying. The public probably really likes Chicago in this game and that's why the line is moving up to give Eagles more points.

The confidence from our fans comes from the familiarity of hearing the EXACT same thing last year - "they're too banged up, they don't have enough playmakers, Nick Foles?  LMFAO"

Thats why we were under dogs against the Falcons, Vikings, and Patriots.  The same reason we're under dogs on Sunday.  The Bears fans should feel confident and root for their team, just take it easy with "this could get ugly, Bears dominant in every category, Eagles don't have a chance".

On Sunday, both the Eagles & Bears will both be 0-0 when the ball is kicked off

All we have heard here is that the Eagles getting 6 points is amazing....and it’s a no brainer to take those points.....Why would the general public be all over the Bears? I mean so many feel Trubisky is a Huuuuuuge liability and the experience factor is a huge issue as well. Are people forgetting that last year the Eagles didnt have experience and has a backup yet they won it all. Yet all we hear is that Bears are gonna fall on the sword come Sunday because THEY don’t have the experience and the MVP qb? Do people stop and listen to the hypocrisy of that argument?

 Look at the media too: The media is shoving Foles down everybody’s throats and the perception of this being another Cinderella run is alive. I would expect the public to pound Philly because they feel “6 points is a GIFT”.  To say the Eagles offensive line is completely healthy is comical. Has anybody seen Jason Peters play this year? He’s slow and he’s washed up and anybody who thinks the Bears won’t maul that guy of the Bears edge rushers arent double teamed.....they are nuts. Perception is a b@tch and people just can’t get it out of their heads that LAST YEAR has to carry on to this year. Last year was last year. To think I’m trying sway anybody into taking the Bears is ridiculous but the trolls will be trolls. I have yet to get any true analysis or insight as to why the Eagles are the better team here. Typical covers where trolls come in, plant their seed and then when asked about their insight, there’s nothing. I’m the nut though.....oke doke!

The public would be on the Bears simply because they're widely perceived as a much stronger team than the Eagles. Simple as that. The line movement from Bears -5.5 to -6 and now -6.5 supports that they're indeed on the Bears. They're trying to take more Eagles bets now to counteract that.

The public is aware that this is the #1 defense in the NFL.

And they have seen the Bears perform much better than the Eagles this year. I think the people who are looking back at last year's run and saying yea let's take Eagles are a minority.

This is correct, but also cherry picking.  The Bears shut down the Rams on their home field, but they also only put up 15 points themselves.

The Eagles played the Rams on their home field, led wire to wire, up most of the game by 2 TD's, scored 30 points, and won by 7.

What does that mean?  Any given Sunday, and anything can happen Sunday night

Last year do you forget that you had the NUMBER ONE DEFENSE and that you had home field all throughout the playoffs? You had a bye as well......Also, nobody knew, including you that Foles would have the run he did so let’s stop trying to make it seem like last year you were ultra confident your team would make the run they did. The biggest prick of a homer on this site who fails to put his money where his mouth is (many know who I’m talking about) will even tell you that Wentz is the better qb. It’s comical. That says it all!!!! The guy can’t stay healthy and when it comes to playoff time, he rides the bench.....yet he’s better than Foles? Wow! Also when people tell me their offensive line is soooo good, explain why Carson is on the bench and why Foles left the game against....Washington with rib issues. Again, it’s very hard to hear people out in here that don’t offer much insight as to why the Eagles are this force to be reckoned with THIS YEAR. All I hear about is last year’s team.....Lastly, why should I not think this one could get ugly? You have a stationary qb with a banged up left tackle and a running back who is 35. Look at the Philly defense the last two months of the season....Ertz even said he’d most likely be staying on the line early to neutralize the push from the d line. Your best weapon is saying that.....I know Alshon too well and he’s a sh@tty route runner so if he beats us over the top so be it but it would be a first. The point here is that THIS YEAR, nobody will sleep on the Eagles especially not Nagy in that he knows Dougy P very well. Listen, if the Eagles beat the Bears I will be the first to congratulate the Eagles fans but it was very clear Nagy and co WANTED THE EAGLES. That’s why they played the way they did last Sunday. Anybody stating that the line will be ounces on by Bears backers is craxy. It’s the most amount of points given in this round and it’s the “defending champs”....it’s clear where the money will be come Sunday. Brotha....my approach here is to not be disrespectful but it’s getting a bit stale to hear the same arguments about the Eagles. Nothing tangible.....All the best to you and whatever you play this week bud

How do you beat a great young defense that the Bears have ? Same way that Tom Brady and the Pats did early this year.

Get rid of the ball quick. Brady 2.5 seconds, Nick Foles 2.5 seconds. With Poise !! 

We'll see how it plays out Sunday..Best match up IMO of the weekend. But, saying that,  the game doesn't always live up to expectations .

Achilles, every member of the Eagles last year stated how huge it was to have guys like Blount, Long, and other veterans to listen too and lean on in the playoffs.

Experience is a factor, and the Eagles had that last year.  I'm not knocking the Bears, they had a great season, but I'm not sure how many players on their roster have ever even played in a playoff game, let alone won a Super Bowl, like the Eagles had last year, and more so now this year.

The Bears gave up 6 points to a team that averaged over 35 at the time.....The Rams had NOTHING going that game. Trubisky three 3 picks and they still almost tripled the Rams. I agree on any given Sunday anything could happen but again, other than the cliches, what points the needle towards Philly here? Experience? The Eagles had none last year and won yet the Bears can’t this year? I would love nothing more than for someone to come in here and give me great reasoning behind playing the Eagles. I will give credit where credit is due.

No, of course not.  The Bears are favored for a reason.

I just like the fact that we have no shot on Sunday and shouldn't even show up.  I continue to give the Bears the credit they deserved foe having a great season, and continue to read that we don't have a shot on Sunday and our team is a joke.

But I'm just a troll, what do I know?

I've read all your posts with interest and I do respect your opinion. But, please don't underestimate this Eagles offensive line. In the last 6 games. Minus the Washington depleted defensive line, the Eagles O line has held their own against 2 teams, Rams and Houston with arguably the 2 best pass rushers in recent history. Aaron Donald of the Rams was virtually non existent, and JJ Watts was neutralized as well for Houston. Although, as you said, Clowney played well; and did lay a vicious hit on Foles.

But, that hit didn't even faze Foles. He returned 2 plays later led the Eagles on a season saving last drive. Don't be fooled by his boyish looks and soft spoken demeanor. The guy has balls and exceptional focus that's imperative at his p[position to get the job done.

The Rams were also unstoppable at home this season, going 7-0 with decisive wins against the Chargers, Vikings, Packers, Seahawks, and Chiefs.  Only 1 team beat them there, and pretty much did it comfortably, being up by 2 TD's most of the game.

You can call it a fluke, or see it as ithey might be a dangerous team.

The Patriots scored 14 points on special teams against the Bears. You do know that right? I believe the l Bears lost by 7.....Did you watch the game? Everything you say about beating a good defense is right though. I do agree bud.

I hate the Eagles and at first glance I said bears are going to smoke philly. But this feels a lot like the Rams/Falcons game last year, where the eagles start hot given their post season experience, the Bears use that pass rush and creative play calling to get back in the game but i just think there's this magic around Foles where he shows up in big games and the eagles win by a field goal.

Might be over thinking, might not, we'll see.

I like Chicago, great town.  Jake & Elwood, House of Blues, a little John Lee Hooker, Bill Murray.  Was rooting hard for the Cubs to break the curse and fly the W 2 years ago.

Just hope they lose Sunday.  If they win, I'll be rooting for them the rest of the way.

We owe you guys one for Jerome's last game, that Fog Bowl fiasco...
