Perhaps its already been mentioned here but im not going to read thru everything at the moment...later i may...
Nick Foles is literally one bad fall, hit, tackle, even slide away from being forced out of the game if he sustains even the slightest aggravation to his injured ribs...this is not a mickey mouse injury...any injury to any rib can cause extremely difficult breathing, to the point of passing out from the pain...given that Sunfeld is one snap away from being forced into a game vs this bears defense, i cant imagine anyone truly feeling good about taking the Eagles here.
Given the stakes, all it takes is one of the bears second stringers to get on the field one time and give Nick one dirty hit early and get him out of the game...if all it costs them is a 15yd penalty early on, i sure as heck would proceed with said game plan if i was the Bears.

What’s there to read? The clowns are out and the trolls are reproducing as we speak. Take the initial post I wrote and look at the intital posts given from the trolls shortly thereafter. The mods....they could give a f@ck about this site and how it’s become a joke. Why? Because these trolls are affiliated with this site. That’s FACT. Some of these clowns are the same person posting under different names and what went from a thread that was supposed to create conversation and common sense of how this game breaks down....it’s turned in to who can troll the best. This site promotes trolls pushing good cappers away from here because they are a threat and they are bad for business. The fakes and the phonies reign here and have for over 4-5 years. Instead of getting rid of them or deleting the bs once it starts they want to change the formatting of the site and ask the people to check 78 boxes before they proceed. Think about it......New year, same sh@t in this joke of a site. I got douchebags coming in here bragging about stocks stating gambling on sports in a drop in the bucket yet their name is gambleholic63. Wtf! The avatar of that clown is callus material if you know I’m saying..... I got 47 year olds who have roommates creating fake spreadsheets that wear goat hats.....The best......I got a guy named after female anatomy that talks sh@t but can’t back it up. Common denominator? Fake and hidden agenda galore. This goes on and on in differebt threads and it’s allowed to. The trolls (tout fakes and covers disguised trolls) will reign supreme.... Guys like you and me keep collecting year after year from our books...thats why we attract cockroaches...out of pure jealousy...however you spend alot more time in the mains than i do (however, the tennis forums are usually troll free for the most part).

Anyone could go and find stats that fit a narrative that seemingly add legitimacy to the “my team is better than your team” position. I have only seen a couple Eagles games this year and so I will not comment on their strengths and deficiencies because it would be recycled commentary which most of posts on the opposing team have been. I have however watched every Bears game and will focus on those, specifically their weaknesses as I have seen them.
1. Special Teams: The struggles with Parkey are real and he is consistently inconsistent. Didn’t practice kicking field goals at Soldier before the goal post game and there has not been a marked improvement since. Distance wise he is able to range under 50, accuracy not withstanding. Nagy will absolutely take this into account and has with 4th down and two point conversion decisions this year however, if it comes down to a decisive field goal attempt Nagy will send him to kick.
Coverage and returns have been acceptable with the exception of the Patriots game where a blocked punt returned for 6 and a return TD sealed their fate. The question this week will be who returns with health potentially forcing a change. Talk on Bears Radio eluded to Cohen maybe being the guy.
2. To the outsider the quick and short passing game has been an issue in a couple games specifically Miami, NE and the first Green Bay game. The thing that hurt the Bears in these games was not the completions but rather the yards after catch caused by missed tackles. Some of the numbers in an earlier post were the direct result of missed tackles not guys out of position. This has been largely cleaned up of late and don’t expect this to be an issue Sunday.
3. Trubisky: There is a full spectrum of confidence about Mitchell (good, bad etc). In my opinion he is a young QB in the first year of a system and thus has been inconsistent. He relies heavily on RPO and first read to get going and sustain drives. The schemes Nagy asks him accomplish play to his strengths. He has gotten in trouble with zone coverage and simultaneous pressure. He has had a tendency to miss high when he misses and that has led to picks. I expect he will do a lot more running this week with designed runs and rollouts.
I see the Bears making a concerted effort to run the ball on offense augmented with short first read passes. The return of Long will help aid the ground game. They will hope to play with a lead as they have most of the year which plays to their defense and the pressure and turnovers that brings. The defense will be what they have been and will have Jackson back.
Bears lose if they do not tackle well, have special teams issues or fall behind early putting the game in Trubisky’s hands. I think the first team to 20 wins.
Be interested to hear from Philly fans how you see your team losing this game.

I grew up in Packerland and carried it with me forever. I'd rather go 2-14 and have the 2 be the Bears than 14-2 and have the 2 be the Bears.
That said, this Bears secondary is absolutely lights out. Philly is going to have to figure out a way to run it at least a little, because Nicky can't sling it all game against this secondary - they'll eat him up alive. Combined with Mack & Co. coming on the rush, this game could get very ugly. Nagy is smart and will have a very conservative offense - the Bears D may very well outscore Philly.
Um, Bears secondary has let up the 5th most catches to WRs. 5th most in the NFL, chew on that for a second.

A little confused about the 5th most catches stat that keeps getting mentioned. When I looked at the stats just now the Bears are 5th worst in the NFC in number of catches allowed but 3rd best in yards allowed. Philly is worst in number of catches and second to last in yards allowed??? In the NFL the Eagles are dead last in catches allowed and third worst in yards allowed. Does any of the that matter or help us win money on Sunday? Maybe if there was a statement behind why it matters or how it directly impacts the game we could have a productive discussion.
As I stated in an earlier post, stats can be picked to suit any argument however, accuracy and relativity would be a nice addition.
