What’s funny is that this Fallopian guy wants us to forget about the first 13 games of the year which were waaaaay in the past yet we need to remember that Philly won it all LAST YEAR.  Another contradiction to where if the shoes fits, he’ll gladly wear it. I meant what I said in that I aint getting into the back and forths anymore but this one is necessary in that this guy is the absolute biggest d&ck on this site and he’s the biggest homer. I mean I’m a Bears fan but I’m realistic. His calling card this week is experience yet experience isn’t what got his team the ring LAST YEAR. I will let the rest of the forum chime in. Until this guy wants to put his money where his mouth is, I’m done with him. Waste of time. Spot on though Mafia13 in your post above.

Classic Fallopian Tuber...I hope to hell you are betting on the Eagles buddy...dismiss these points in this thread at your own peril but to outright call them "slop" is insulting to an obviously well thought out and reasoned analysis...

But I would have never expected better from you...

Here, let me make it simple for you...the Bears will win and cover this game handily and I project them in the Super Bowl...

You might want to load up on some of the Bears to win the Super Bowl at +950...best bet on the board...

    But you won't...

Nick Foles is a backup for a reason. Could he have a good game on Sunday like last year's super bowl? Maybe but I can tell ya, Bear Defense is nothing like the Patriots defense. This will be the toughest defense Nick Foles has ever faced. Just go ask Kirk Cousin and the MN squad how they felt getting their a$$ handed to them at home fighting for the last playoff spot. Can you honestly say the Eagles have a much better offense then Vikings? I see a lot of parallels to be honest.

That Bears Viking game is very telling in many aspects but I believe Bears offense now have the confidence knowing that they can beat a great defensive team at their opponents turf.  I mention this because most people are not sold on Trubiski. The truth is he doesn't need to be great for Bears to win. I think Nick Foles will have his hands full dealing with the Bears defense all afternoon. Mack will play his hearts out. I see multiple take aways and the score should favor da Bears by 2 scores when its all say and done.

The “experience” talk should not factor into this equation. Why? Because the Eagles last year, had none themselves yet still won with a new head coach, backup qb and inexperienced players everywhere. Last year Philly surprised everyone but in reality they kind of didn’t. They had the number one defense, they had an outstanding run game and they had home field advantage all throughout the playoffs. Everybody keeps talking about Mitch and I get it but was Russ and company supposed to blowout Manning and Denver outdoors in the super bowl? Did anyone expect Manning, who at the time threw an NFL record number of TD passes that year to look amateur in the big game? Nope. Russ wasn’t even on the map yet he took care of the ball and let his defense win the game. Did anyone truly expect Foles to win game after game last year and win the super bowl. Nope. People can keep talking about Mitch but in this particular game, he won’t have to have the game of his life. Not against this Philly team.

Certain homers want to point out that in the last 3 games Philly played great. Really? They gave up 30 to Houston, barely won and they beat Josh Johnson and the Redskins. They beat the Rams but gave up over double the amount of points that Chicago did to them. Look at their DVOA in the last third of the season and they are towards the bottom in stopping teams on defense. I keep hearing that Foles is the X factor. Ok ok......Please for one second folks....let’s not pretend that Fangio is freaking out watching tape of Foles. He’s a pocket passer. He isn’t a AROD, a Russ or a Mahomes. This dude will sit in the pocket regardless and if the Eagles are unable to run the ball warly, god bless Foles. God help him I should say.

YES Bears defense is top notch but bisky has come up lame in home games this year pathetic QBR's

ok i dont have the home games qbr of bisky where he had 3 or more ints and was bailed out by defensive scores

BUT They couldnt halt Patriots offense at home then again they were streesed from OT loss at miami

and Bears were a home dog

MY bopids aint going to be in atlanta because of having to Play 4 tr8 road games

@ WASH @CHI @NO then what at LA RAMS comon man your dreaming philly

I listened to dopes calling in about the 9-7 giants who won a bowl

Giants didnt have to play as wc they won the weak nfc east div

and got healthy again after misisng several Defensive players

That was Tom coughlins defense when they beat patriotrs again.

I had hard time taking Giants that year but the spread gave it to me Patriots 10 times better than giants only -3

YES our experince counts vs basically Bears 1st timers in Playoffs

BUT if that Bears defense can hit foles hard and posibly hurt him and knock him out of game and game is close Eagles are 1 and done

Foles cannot run and make plays they need to use RB's to block and open up short routes for all WR's

Dougie has to be agressive in Play calling

You say “YES our experience counts vs basically Bears 1st timers in playoffs”? Please then explain how the Patriots, the most experienced team of the last 20 years got outcoached, outplayed and out schemed in a game by an inexperienced team (Eagles) who won the super bowl. Did experience weigh heavily all throughout the playoffs and against the greatest qb and coach in NFL history? No it did not so as much as I could agree here, the team who the bears will be playing Sunday....they were in the same exact boat last year having no experience at all themselves as we are. I’m not arguing brotha l; I guess for me all I keep hearing about is Foles and experience. Nothing else.

To say experience doesn't matter in the playoff is just silly. I don't have a pick in this game yet, but to attempt to sway people's opinions by saying experience doesn't matter is poor capping. I understand you are a Bears fan and perhaps this is leading you to handpick your information selectively. Good luck to your Bears...it's good to see them back in the playoffs instead of Green Bay.

You say you don’t have a pick in this game yet? You’ve never had a pick on anything bud. Never. With that, keep doing your thing Chief.

The reason Foles seems to be making a huge difference over Wentz might be because he's so much better at getting the ball to these guys. Perhaps he's unlocking the potential that Wentz couldn't exploit.

You say the Bears D line is light years better than the Eagles offensive line, but wasn't that also supposed to be the case for Houston's D line?

    Against Houston:

    Nick Foles 35/49 471 yds 4 TD 1 Int
Nelson Agholor 5 for 116 yds and 1 TD
Zach Ertz 12 for 110 yds and 2 TDs
Alshon Jeffrey 3 for 82 yds
Darren Sproles 3 for 76 yds and 1 TD

Didn't even need Tate and Matthews.

All that without even mentioning that Foles is very reliable in these big games. The Bears defense better be able to make things very hard on him this week. That's what it comes down to.

Not completely sure where I stand on this game yet.

Nick Foles can pass the ball that is true, but your argument to me is a little skewed as you are basing it on the fact that Foles and the WR crew put up big numbers on Houston's D.  Houston is good at stopping the run (82.7 YPG, 3rd in the league) but when it comes to the pass, they are one of the worse teams in the league giving up 260.4 YPG (28th in the league).  Houston does lead the league in sacks, but to me if appears that they have to because their secondary can't cover anyone.

Let’s get to the meat and potatoes Ben Simmons fan club president. Your team got in and they play mine. Let’s make a little wager here where everyone can see it. How many bills you want to throw into the pot Chief? Now is your chance to put your falsified ego to the ultimate test. Let’s not pretend that anything you’ve said all year about your little eagles carries any weight here cuz it hasn’t and it won’t. The ball is in your court. And If you ain’t interested then gtf out of here. You decide. Happy New Year.

I'm actually just going to hang out here since you don't want me in here. I'm actually sleeping over. Wentz and Foles aren't comparable. Foles benefits from great O-Line play and Doug's playcalling (half the playbook) that fits with Foles strengths. Wentz is a future league MVP, no question. Trubisky sails balls over receivers heads. I'd be cautious with your chit-talking. I don't wager with amateurs like yourself.

Ben Simmons is a walking triple double.

You make the Bears out to be 3 time Super Bowl champs, similar to your Michigan wack-off session. They looked good. Keep slurping.

Few point for what its worth.  I am a Patriots fan by the way.

Comparing Foles to Cousins or the Eagles Offense to Vikings Offense is idiotic.  I think Bears are overvalued based on performance vs. hapless vikings.  They fired their O coordinator with three games left in year because they were bad all year.  Their Offensive Line is one of if not worst in league.  Their offensive scheme is horrid.  Who cares if you have stud weapons if you can't get the ball to them.

Eagles have a top five offensive line so the pressure shouldn't be the same.  I don't believe that Foles is an elite tier QB but everyone else seems to show up when he is behind the helm.

Trubisky is a game manager and I don't think they are built to play from behind.

I think that Chicago should win but I don't love them covering the 6 and won't be surprised if Philly beats them making all of Chicago question why they didn't just lost and play the vikes

The Eagles did a nice job exploiting two teams in the Rams and Texans that dont have much to offer outside of their defensive line. The defense still looked horrible. Bears defense doesnt have a weakness.

People will forget the Eagles defense is horrible because they got to feast on Sanchez and Johnson. They are still throwing out 3rd stringers in the secondary. Trubisky worries me, but not at home against this secondary.

I want the bears to win I do I do I do! But let's not say that The Eagles defensive line with Cox, Bennett and Long are not a force in their own right and will be making some big plays themselves in this game as well. I just hope that Chicago's defense comes out on top. This will be a defensive battle and I can NOT wait!an_speechless

If you look at the entire card this weekend. Eagles +6 really jumps out, no other games have spread over 3. The Philadelphia Eagles, defending Champs with virtually the same team/coach from last year getting points against Da Bears with a mediocre QB. On the very last game of the playoff weekend no less.... Its a no brainer right?? Easy Hammer!  I think public will be all over this play come Sunday. Let that sink in for a minute. Good luck to all.

On the very last game of the playoff weekend no less.... Its a no brainer right?? Easy Hammer!  I think public will be all over this play come Sunday. Let that sink in for a minute. Good luck to all.

Except experience, which could be huge.  Chicago is a young team with alot of players that haven't experienced playoff football yet.  One of the reasons I took Atlanta ML last year when they went into LA to play the Rams.

And you keep mentioning the "banged up" Eagles OL that the Bears front will devour.  Who's banged up?  With Peters, Kelce, Brooks, and Johnson, the Eagles have one of the best OL in football.  They're the healthiest they've been all season, and one of the main reasons the Eagles finished the season at 5-1 I'm their last 6 games with the only loss being the robbery that happened in Dallas (No clear recovery on the opening kickoff?  Goeddert TD reversed for offensive pass interference because his shoulder brushed the defender??)

I'm as big an Eagles homer as you are a Bears Achilles, so you should feel the way you do.

The Bears are favored for a reason, they earned the home game in Chicago, just feel the Eagles are a dangerous team entering the playoffs.  They were completely screwed by horrific calls in Dallas, or they would be entering the playoffs on a 6 game winning streak with wins over the Cowboys, Rams, and Texans.

To be honest, it's not Trubisky's arm that worries me, it's his legs.  Yes, you were correct with our banged up secondary, but way off on our "banged up"OL that will get devoured by the Bears front 7.

They're healthy now, playing better than they have all season, and a top 5 unit in football.

Good luck to you Sunday, should be a good game, and I AM putting my money where my mouth is, Eagles ML.
