To your arguement i had pack last night and was 3-1 b4 game and thought i missed out on a huge opp. to go 4-1 instead i finished average 3-2. and yes i thought in my head about this. But the fact is there is no way you can tell me these players are fixing these games and risking all of what they do and make to make a few dollars on side. another arguement that the whole league is in on it there is no way. Players who get suspended and kicked out would be very quick to snitch if this were true. I mean comeone guys i use 3 examples for you Tank Johnson, PacMan Jones, And Mike Vick. All 3 will not being playing in nfl for a good amount of time and if there was a conspiracy theory they would of snitched on it by now... If there is any fix or any theory such is that is has to be with the Refs which could be possible after what happened in NBA

Let's put it this way guys... I laid a large amount of money (for me) on the Bears.  Going into the game I thought it would be close the whole game and either team could sneak out with a GW FG.

I was absolutely stunned how the 2nd half played out.  And on the final play of the game (the hail mary), it looked like the refs were gonna call it INT no matter what.  I'm not saying its rigged, but it just left me thinking weird things... just glad I was on the right side.  Didn't see it ending like that at all.

I mean comeon Phantom Flag there is no way u can tell me every player and every coach in  the NFL is getting paid off and are actors and directors. You are retarted. That is probably over 20,000 ppl if not more to be infiliated in NFL in past years. And your gonna tell me that not 1 not 1 measley person would of snitched or let the word out... You guys are taking this too far when you say the players and coaches are in on it... Its on thing for refs a whole nother for players and coaches

I had the Bears +3 +105 last night and I still believe that game was rigged. you're always going to have ppl deny the possibilites of rigging games and you will never change their minds. they will mock you and say that it is impossible but what can u do.
 
love fading farve, he has the most bizarre interceptions..they always seem to occur when gb players are nowhere even close within the vicinity

I personally do not believe the NFL, or any sport for that matter is rigged.  Sure, there will occasionally be a ref or player that tanks or does something in the way of a fix but that doesn’t mean there is a conspiracy behind it all.  Trust me, I have been on the bad side of many of the games you mentioned above and as much as I would like to believe it was a fix, I can’t believe that anyone made a call to someone to fix a game.  We are dealing with people here, who during the course of the game have highly charged emotions, etc.  Sometimes sh*t happens and as gamblers, it’s something that we have to take and its part of the game.  I agree with you that the Browns game was total BS, but who knows what was going on.  Maybe the offense was talking mad sh*t to him during the game so he wanted to take this chance to give it to him instead of taking a knee.  Also, when you make an interception, your natural instinct, whether you are a trained professional NFL player or not, is to run it in for the score.  Good case to illustrate this point is the number of lost fumbles due to players trying to pick up fumbles instead of simply falling on the ball as they’ve been taught since they were kids.  My point is simply that we are dealing with human beings that are prone to do things that we don’t always expect.  I see where you are coming from and I respect your opinion but I will respectfully disagree.

I don't post much but I enjoy all the excellent cappers and respect the fact you put your picks out there to be viewed. Saying all that, Yes, many of these games fall on or near the line way too much but I creditthat to Vegas and the pros putting out the number.
 
I won't be foolish to think the everything is on the up and up because there is too much money to be made. nI'd be surprised to see players fixing games but not refs. We have all benefited and suffered form games that should have gone one way and gone another. If you feel strong that the league is fixed and its wide spread than, in my opinion, your a fool to play. INFORMATION!! If your're not on the inside than why play if you think its fixed. We all remember the games that beat us but seldom speak of the games that we won like that NE game yesterday. I had NE -16.5 and the over 48 and laughed my ass off knowing there were many that would need help getting over that one.

If you honestly think the NFL is fixed, then why do you continue to bet on it? If it is fixed, you are buying right into what the books want. If you think sincerely think the NFL is rigged, then it would only be unintelligent or irrational to continue to gamble on it.

If you feel it is fixed then why have you bet on it for over 20 years.  why not just bet pro wrestling, everything is always fixed when people are on the wrong side.  Anybody that thinks that athletes fix games in the pros need his head examined.

I wonder if both teams called vegas to get the second half line to make it look real, I am sure dallas said ok guys lets win the game by only 3 as the on-line books and vegas told us that most of the action is on us -10, we will win the game but vegas cleans up as we do not cover the game spread of 11.  I can see the Dallas coaching staff now at half time good job tony way to toss 4 inerceptions including the pefect deflection for a td, man you are in the zone tonight just like we drew it up. Lucky for us the public does not know the fix is in.  Now go get'em boys, but remember only by 10

LMFAO at this NFL is fixed crap....don't you think that with 50 some odd players and perhaps another 20 or so coaches/staff that one guy, JUST ONE FOCKEN GUY  at some point would cry wolf and bring the entire game down...
 
These clowns that think games are fixed are focking morons at best...I could see a tennis match, boxing fight or any individual sport being fixed but there is no way in hell somebody wouldn't have cried wolf, wrote a book or something of that nature.
 
Jose Canseco was spot on about the juice in baseball....as much as a rat that he was he among others brought steroids and cheating to the forefront.
 
Why isn't/hasn't a bitter NFL player come out firing about the fix...BECAUSE THEIR ISN'T SUCH A THING.....end of discussion.
 
The Winslow strip and ensuing TD was nothing really...the guy had to go a whole 10 yards...why am I wasting my breath/time with this crap.

This is a complete crock of shit I have ever seen in a game.

Bills have NO BUSINESS at all being in this game with the pathetic 3 POINTS on OFFENSE.

Of course SOME games are fixed..........can it be any more obvious?  Anyone that claims NFL games are not fixed needs to take a long look in the mirror for a reality check......they are more than likely the same individuals that claimed NBA games weren't being fixed either. 
ANY sport can be fixed......the Refs/Umps have extreme control over rhythm, flow and momentum in ANY game...and once in a blue moon you even get the player thrown into the mix. 
It has been proven over and over throughout the history of sports.....and the doubters are simply delusional and truly don't have a handle on organized sports in general. 

Maybe the people who doubt that the fix is in on occasion are holding on to the thin fibers of hope....they are in denial...struggling to maintain the integrity of a game they love and are passionate about....

Bottom line (then I'll get off of my soap box):

When it comes to anything where $$$ is involved, we live in extremely corrupt environment......whether it is sports, politics or general business........shady is, as shady does.

BINGO!!!.....Ratings will be MUCH higher with 2 undefeated teams playing instead of 1 undefeated team vs a decent team that lost to one of the worst teams in the league the prior week.  Agreed.
