C-Man, when have they ever called a fucking holding penalty against Denver in mile high?  This was a perfect BS scenario for Denver to win, just like Arizona did when they gotthe Steelers at home.
 
Again, if the NFL is fixed, why do we bet on these games??

C-Man... what about the play where the right guard and tackle for Pitt moved before the ball was snapped, and the Steelers get a first down on 3rd and 14 or so and no penalty is called?

i had denver huge tonite... I won a lot of money...the game was fixed for denver to win imo

Why? Because Miami scored 14pts...one because Cassell threw an INT that got returned for a TD. Cassell stunk. Thats why you never saw him play before. Bringing in Brady was to KILL the momentum of Miami as they were scoring and stopping NE. That TD gave them enough leeway in the 4th where they didnt have to worry about a comeback. a 3 TD game with Cassell behind center can easily be overcome. Houston scored 29pts in the 4th to come back on the Titans before they won a late GW FG.

I think you're a bit on the conspiracy theory tip about every game being fixed.

I don't think professional coaches care about covering the spread, but I will tell you one thing, NCAA football coaches do.
 
All of these coaches know their bread is buttered by the boosters, and if they're team has a bad ATS season, their "hot" seat gets turned up a few notches.  NCAA coaches don't get fired when they go 7-4 ATS.
 
In the NFL there is too much money being made by owners, coaches and players.  ATS covers are on the low priority for NFL coaches.
 
I don't think NFL games are fixed, nor do I think the NFL head offices have a say in who wins, which team should advance to the Super Bowl cause again, the league and owners making too much money.  
 
In the other leagues, NBA, NHL, MLB, BCS (NCAA foots) it wouldn't surprise me one bit to find out some games and playoff scenarios are "altered".

I will never forget that bet or that night, After the half I told my friend that there was no WAY in hell that the colts could come back. I am still considered the Mush just for that statement alone. What I witnesses led me to come up with Rule #1NEVER EVER EVER BET AGAINST MANNING!!!!!!!! Yes , all sports are fixed at one point or another ,some way or another! Mostly on natl. televised games on Sun or Mon Night! When people are chasing money they rarely have the ballzzzs to bet the dog, especially if that team really sucks.  Amazing things happen and what do you know, somehow the public gets stung and Vegas collects! Just my humble opinion,THEFIXISIN   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say that college games would be most likely to be fixed.
 
I did see that pats game and i thought it was wierd how the browns were trying to score so bad when they were down by 17 with 50 secs left.The other thing is how come they didnt review the browns touchdown on the last play of the game.I guess cause it didnt matter,but why even try to score.

Again, if the NFL is fixed, why do we bet on these games??

I bet on the game knowing its fix because i have a copy of the script.  Now that is a LOCK

i just dont understand this.. the NFL cant be fixed at all.. you pay certain players, referees, and maybe coordinators to call the game differently or play the game differently but u cannot control the outcome of the game..football is probably the only sport that has offensive , defensive and some special teams players that all play separately and almost never play on both sides of the ball with a few exceptions...vegas gets it right because they have been doing this longer any of us has been sports betting...as far as tom brady coming back into the game bill belichick did not want the momentum to swing back in miami's side.. if you watch football this is probably the most strongest asset a team can have .. MOMENTUM... for u guys who believe tom brady came in to secure the cover then u guys are idiots....i just wish people who lose in sports betting do not cry about it when they lose because the games are FIXED...good luck, with this attitude u will never see the greener side ..best of luck to everybody who bets on football .. hit me up if you know INSIDE information about the game being FIXED...let me win easy moeny too

Daytrader1- No offense to you, but the lines and totals aren't close 90% of the time. They are within one touchdown about 30% of the time in the NFL over the last ten years, which isn't bad. But remember, the lines are not designed to predict outcomes. And setting the lines is not real difficult in the NFL. Most that follow the NFL and bet it regularly can predict all the lines for any upcoming week and be correct on most games, and within a point or so on the rest. I do it every week, so do many reading this. It's not tough. So stop with all this how great the linesmaker is stuff. Setting the lines and predicting outcomes on a solid percentage are two totally different skills. As for the Patriots game, maybe Belechek had 250,000 on the game trying to get back some of his fine money. Who cares? It's the NFL, you try to score and put the other team away. After the interception he was pissed and sent a message that you never get careless-that's how he coaches. Remember the three touchdown lead blown by Tampa with 5 minutes to go a few years ago? I do, I lost a fortune on that game.
