ATG , I have been watching since the 60's betting since late 70's. IMO there are games that some players and or Refs have a special interest in. But overall don't you think as pissed of as some of the "OLD SCHOOL" players are with the salaries and bullshit of the New style of players someone would have said something by now, Because as you know the "old school" players hate the new style of players,,so I guess what I'm trying to say is there is some interesting calls, play selections, dropped balls, taking a knee,etc.. in some games, buy some PEOPLE , but overall not fixed...

It was 9-7 1 minute left on the clock, 3rd and 2 on the 49ers 10-15 yard line. they got stopped short by at least a foot, referee gave them a first down without measuring and without 49ers disagreeing with the call. Didn't even bring out the guys to measure it. And yes, as long as you bet on the right side and win $, that's all that really matters. Vegas calls all the shots.

C'mon guys.. Overall, sports aren't fixed.. Can they be fixed though? Sure they can, but that would be the case only if one person or persons was corrupt enough to single handily change the outcome of something themselves. Who's to say that person would even have that chance to make the fix happen. What if his team is losing and the fix was supposed to be for his team to win. How can that player gaurantee the fix to win if both teams dont know about it.. I understand if they were supposed to lose and the player could fumble it or someone could throw an interception..A kicker missing a FG.. Even having a paid off ref try to do what he could to sway things the other way..Most the time refs call their penalties they are just about always replayed and confirmed by commentators/coaches etc.. Are they always right?? No, but those are bad calls and its human nature to make mistakes.. If the call looked WAY fishy, im sure the nfl would have an investigation on the call and the ref who called it after the game or later in the week.. Not one single person can gaurantee the whole outcome of a whole nfl game without the help of others or without attracting any attention..

Vegas just sets the odds on these bets to give them their favor..Why risk all the complications of setting this and that up when its just like a hand of blackjack to them.. It's not all that complicated where vegas calls up teams and people to tell them to win or lose.. Ya'll are crazy to think vegas single handily controls all these sports.. Do you not realize those games that you lose by one point could be a winner at some other bookie?? Not all the lines are the same..If so, which bookie/line controls the fix then?? If something was going to be rigged, it would have to take planning and last time I checked you can place bets up until kickoff.. Let's say 95% bets on one team so they place the fix on the underdog, but then right before kickoff some guy calls in and bets 10 billion on the dog.. Who's going to be responsible for changing the outcome of the game then??
There are just too many people in the football organization to not have someone already come out and say something if games were set up as much as some of you people think... There would be a leak somewhere for sure.. Wouldn't that save them a lot more money and wouldn't it be easier??? What makes certain teams like the patriots and colts so special to have them win all their games?? They paid the NFL more money?? lol. Shoot, look at the patriots.. They have covered against the spread every game this year and concensus has always had them favored.. I don't know the whole story but 6 NBA referees got into trouble for gambling in the Donahey fiasco recently. Would that fit you're mold of a small group fixing games? Thats 10% of the NBA officiating staff!

why are those linesmakers consistently right on with the spread??? Can they tell the future? Why does the game (MOST of the time) come down to the last play to cover a spread? Someone explain... I repeat... Its not always coming down to the last play but MOSTLY... if not for the spread, its the total... WHY are those guys consistently correct? Anyone who bets a live ingame knows this... They wouldn't have an ingame if they didnt think they had an edge on the outcome... comments welcome...

For SURE !!!!!!!!!!! How can they be on the money 90% of the time with the line and the over under. It is hard to believe this is fixed, with so many people involved and no one has ever chirpped. the game outcome was in hand wout Brady having to come back in....but the game was in doubt for spread purposes...why would Bellechik risk bradys health up by 3 TDs if he wasnt concerned about preserving that spread victory?

Maybe I'm just pissed the Steelers are losing, but the calls in this game have been extremely one-sided so far. The refs called that bullshit PF on Polamalu hitting Cutler in the head when Cutler slid into it, an illegal touching on Holmes when the defender touched the ball first and a phantom holding call on Pgh when they were driving and hit a long pass play at the end of the half. Yet, they somehow missed when 4 Denver defensive players slamming Ben R. to the ground way after the whistle and a Denver defensive end clearly jumping offsides on the play that knocked Pgh out of field goal range at the end of the half. Actually, the refs threw flags on 3 consective plays against Pgh when they were driving at the end of the half, then they miss a def end clearly offsides on a play that led to a sack. I don't know if this means the game is fixed, but it is extremely frustrating.

Maybe I'm just pissed the Steelers are losing, but the calls in this game have been extremely one-sided so far. The refs called that bullshit PF on Polamalu hitting Cutler in the head when Cutler slid into it, an illegal touching on Holmes when the defender touched the ball first and a phantom holding call on Pgh when they were driving and hit a long pass play at the end of the half. Yet, they somehow missed when 4 Denver defensive players slamming Ben R. to the ground way after the whistle and a Denver defensive end clearly jumping offsides on the play that knocked Pgh out of field goal range at the end of the half. Actually, the refs threw flags on 3 consective plays against Pgh when they were driving at the end of the half, then they miss a def end clearly offsides on a play that led to a sack. I don't know if this means the game is fixed, but it is extremely frustrating.

I AM ON DENVER big and I am certain that this game is fixed! the oddsmakers told me that with that line that they put up and maintained all throughout the day

the more I think of it the more this reminds me of a carbon copy of two weeks ago where Bears beat Green Bay . . the Bears season on the line and they came thru....same here in Denver tonite......a loss and they are done for and the nfl loses the fans in Denver for rest of the year...league cant have it....all teams must be competitive till end of season

There is one more - the Denver left tackle was behind the Pgh def end holding him by the arm on the screen play that converted a 3rd and 14 - no holding.

It's always fixed when the team you thought should win loses, or there is a questionable call which helps your team lose or win... There will always be the "humans" hands involved anything we due - when you have that you will always have questions and doubts. Take a look at our goverment, and justice system! Pretty much the same..... Just another thing you have to include in your handicapping. Have fun, and when it's not fun anymore just STOP.....

C-Man, when have they ever called a fucking holding penalty against Denver in mile high? This was a perfect BS scenario for Denver to win, just like Arizona did when they gotthe Steelers at home.
Again, if the NFL is fixed, why do we bet on these games??
