Agreed, expect for the other team.  Celtics took out the #1 and #2 teams in the league with little trouble.  They should have no problem taking out the Lakers.

My main concern is with Kendrick Perkins and his inability to stay out of technical trouble.  I expect him to get suspended ATLEAST 1 game.  Other than that, barring any injury this should be the Celtics easiest series of the playoffs, just like it was in 2008.

You are talking about regular season stats that mean nothing come playoff time. The Cavs and Magic wouldn't have beaten the Lakers either! The Celts play on another level and the Lakers can match it that's why the Lakers can win this series!

No, I think it was common knowledge that the Eastern Conference Championship would be the 'true championship' as 3 of the top 4 teams in the NBA played there this year. 

You're entitled to your opinion but I find it funny you discredit what Boston did during the playoffs but act like what the Lakers did was better.  Cleveland would've beat Utah and Orlando would've beat Phoenix easily. The Lakers had a cake walk to the finals for the 3rd straight year and if you think the lack of defense and finese basketball they've seen the past month is going to prepare them for Boston, I don't know what to tell you.

This Lakers team is better than '08 team
This Celtics team is not better than '08 team

Big different, Lakers have the home court advantage.  This is huge in the finals...  I'm taking LAL ML -195 to win this series.

btw, i hate the lakers!  I lost so much $ on them this yr.  I can't see how C can beat the Lakers in a 7 game series.

Yeah, that guy Rondo never improved. And Eddie House was somehow better than Nate Robinson?

Big Baby is much better 2 years later than Leon Powe. And I loved Powe. The one guy that I miss from that team is PJ Brown. But I think Rasheed is a slight upgrade, don't you think?

I just cant see it being that easy for the Lakers to win the series,Celts did take a beating getting here,but 6 days off should heal those wounds.Kobe is great,which I hate to say,but Boston has a few hall of famers.

The Lakers are better at playing dee that's the difference from 2008! Plus homecourt is huge!

I hope you aren't serious. Nate is a huge downgrade from House don't kid yourself. House was a much better fit for that offense and played a bigger role on the team. He shoots the shit out of the ball and was a spark off the bench. Nate just barely got some burn the last few games of the Orlando series. Nate is good when he's trying to impose himself on a team and attacking. The Celtics don't need him to be what he's good at, they need him to blend in and be what House was. A deadly shooter who could take advantage of what he was given. House had some huge games for the Celtics. 

Nate had that one good game cause Rondo got hurt, so he got some extended minutes and was able to get his game going. He isn't the type of player who can come off the bench and get his with the limited minutes he gets. It takes him to long to get rolling. That's exacty what the Celtics don't want out of him, but tha's who he is. Someone he needs to dribble and shoot too much to be effective.

I didn't discredit what the Celts did when? The Lakers had a cake walk you say, yeah that Thunder team isn't very good are they! Kevin Durant isn't a MVP type player and what's Steve Nash garbage! The Cavs have Lebron and what else tell me. The Magic aint as good as last year i don't think. Just because you say the east is better than the west that's your opinion. What conference is deeper i say the west not the east. The Celts are the best in the east hands down i agree with that. It's going to be a great series whoever wins, but i think the Lakers are better prepared and Artest makes them tougher to play against. Plus homecourt is going to help the Lakers.

Rondo is better. Pierce is worse. Garnett is decidedly worse. Ray Allen is the same. Perkins is the same. You dont have Posey to check Kobe. Powe won a game for you two years ago, remains to be seen if either Davis or Sheed is capable of that.
