Lakers have a 20.4 PER at the Center position. Bucks are allowing 14.3 PER to the opposing Centers and are averaging 14.3 PER by themselves at that position, 2nd best in their team, after the PGs. Not to mention the SG position, where LAL are averaging a whopping 21 PER, while the Bucks are averaging 10.9. Bogut's absence will be huge tonight against a scrappy team like LA, who likes to impose their own rythm in a game.
Thanks for providing your insight NoFumbles!

Dimes, don't you think that Bogut's absence will play a huge factor in the LAL@MIL game?
I'm with you, I am having concerns about Bogut being out.
I know the Bucks played the Bulls last night, and Boguts backup had a career night but that tends to happen after the first few games of the teams best player being down.
I just don't know if the Bucks can handle Gasol & Bynum in the paint.
The only thing I would put in the bucks favor would be Jennings because of the Lakers inability to slow down good point gaurds getting their shot off.
But the Lakers have been off a few days, and KOBE always has good games in Buck country.

I think Bucks would be able to cover if Kobe jacks up his usual 25 to 30 shots. He kills the rhythm of the team whenever he does that. Lakers should take advantage of Bogut's absence, and let Gasol and Bynum dominate the paint.

44 Good morning, I appreciate your picks but do you feel better about todays picks rather than Cleveland last night?
I follow your advice I just dropped alot down on Celeveland last nite and come up short, just want to make sure todays picks are rock solid in your mind.
Also what do you think about the Rockets at home at -6.5 against the Knicks?
Don't know what to do with this Rockets team. They were a medium sized favorite against the Bucks on Wednsday and pretty much the whole world was leaning Rockets. They lost that game out right. Come back 2 days later and wollop the Wizzards by 27.

GL, but I'm not taking the Bucks today. Bogut is out, Bucks playing b2b and 5th game in 7 days, and yesterday played division rival Bulls. Lakers rested. Good spot for Lakeshow.

Huge Factor ?? No i don't think so. He might be worth half a point. He alters some shots but he dosen't pick up many Offensive boards. He's a terrible free throw shooter.

When you have 2 front court 7 Footers, your practically gonna win every matchup situation regardless of who you face. So what's their excuse ??? Kobe takes more shots than Bynam and Gasol combined. They are near the bottom of the league from the 3 point line. They brought in Kapono for some outside relief, and how's that working out. You shouldn't be laying 5 points on the ROAD without a true point guard and a less than mediocre bench.

I completely agree with your final statement. Lakers PGs are horrible. The thing is, Milwaukee played a lot of games lately, while LA was resting. And altough Bogut may not be such a huge factor, he forces opponents to try to avoid the paint, because he is really strong and knows how to play under the rim. Now Gasol and Bynum will have a clear path there.
I've bet against the Lakers 3 times so far: vs Indiana, Clippers in the first game, and @ Miami and won every time. Now I have the feeling that they'll win.
