I'm already on the Magic again but may have to squeak in a little more.
Are you going to play the spread, ML or both? I chickened out and put most of my money on this game on the ML and will add more if it goes down.
Spread only. In fact, if anyone wants to take the Lakers at either +3.5 +110 or +4 +100, I've had my offers sitting there all night at Matchbook untouched. Come on, Laker backers, get in there and make your mistake!

It's not a terrible price at -180 or so and I don't know why but I am scared that the "man with the scowl" will do everything he can to keep this close, regardless of what the rest of his team does. Even though I do feel confident the Magic cover the 4, I feel even more confident that the Magic will win this game. I would be mad beyond belief if I laid it all on the -4 and Orlando ended up winning by 2.
Kobe talked after Game 2 about how the Lakers would "kick it up a notch" when they reach Orlando, but it's just that, talk. He's thinking wishfully, wishing that his team could bring the kind of intensity they brought to more urgent games like Game 3 in Houston and Game 3 in Denver. But a tiger doesn't change its stripes, and a team that consistently evaluates each game on the Importance Meter and then plays accordingly isn't suddenly going to bring their jailhouse defense to a Game 3 when they're up by two games.

Great stuff Bator. Thanks for all the work this season. I'm on it and still debating the O/U. Any thoughts. I think tonight the over may hit and then clamp down again for the remaining two games.

Like your write up..BUT Experience will prevail GL
Experience will prevail alright. Like Mark Wunderlich's experience with officiating the Fakers. He was the guy who swallowed his whistle while watching Derek Fisher land on top of Brent Barry while BB was attempting a 3 in last year's playoffs.

Really good info', thanks for taking the time to share. That's like "needle in the haystick" info', some work involved there. Already on ORL, for me, it comes down to the Lakers inconsistent play in selected games in these playoffs. As I believe you stated, they play to the level of the importance of that particular game. A loss tonight doesn't change things that much for LA, if at all. They know they need win only 1 game in ORL and they'll have 2 games to close it out @ back in LA. Also really believe they will shoot the ball better and get more shot attempts. They must. Can see 105-110 for them tonite. If by chance the Lakers do bring their energy tonight and ORL doesn't put up at least 100, this could be a four game sweep.
