NBA Contest Day 10 Wednesday 1/27

Question

So the Contest is unfortunately now closed to new players as only 16 days left to the cut and minimum of 18 plays needed.

2015-2016 NBA Contest

Rules: Max of 1 play per day, no minimum plays per week BUT must make at least 18 plays by end of day Feb 11^th to qualify for Top 40 and ties cut and minimum of 40(?) plays by end of day March 17^th to qualify for Top 25 and ties cut. No live betting, no ML higher than -110, no buying points, use available lines and totals at exact time of post (no “I got this line last night”). So basically ATS and totals, team totals 1^st qtr, 1^st half, full game and 2^nd half, player props all good to go. Champion will receive a “2015-2016 NBA Forum Champion” t shirt provided by me, maybe a hat too depending how much we make tailing haha. May the best Capper win!

Standings will be up mid morning.

Record 5-3Going with the boring pick today - GSW -16.  Dallas on B2B, on the road, and barely beating the Lakers 92-90 last night (lol)...they don&#x27;t stand a chance.  I usually don&#x27;t bet on spreads over 14 points, but this one should be easy for GSW.  I expect the spread to go up to 17 by game time tonight too.

Derick Favors is finally healthy and he is back to Utah  roster. That will give much inside presence&#xD;&#xA;for Jazz and some rebounds too. Favors is avg 8.5 rpg which was huge for this&#xD;&#xA;team before his long injury. Jazz are 11-2 SU and 9-3-1 ATS with avg line of &#x2013;&#xD;&#xA;4.8 as a favorites this season when they won the battle under the glass. Utah outscored their&#xD;&#xA;opponents with more than 11 ppg and the most amazing fact is that they hold the&#xD;&#xA;opponents to just 87.3 ppg. On the other side Hornets are 2-10 SU and 3-8-1 ATS&#xD;&#xA;with avg line of 6.1 as an underdogs when they lost the rebound battle. I have&#xD;&#xA;no doubt that great defensive team like Jazz with Gobert/Favors and Hayward will win this&#xD;&#xA;important component tonight without Big Al, Cody Zeller and Batum. I know&#xD;&#xA;Nicolas is still questionable but even if he is ready for tonight (something&#xD;&#xA;suspicious for me) he won&#x2019;t be on 100% and the minute restriction for him is&#xD;&#xA;sure. Utah&#xD;&#xA;lost their last home game against Pistons but that was a bad spot for them&#xD;&#xA;returning from East Coast trip. Now they will be more patient  and ready to lock up their defense which will&#xD;&#xA;lead to their winning way. Jazz almost beat Hornets at road a week ago but&#xD;&#xA;Kemba Walker was too much to handle on that night. Kemba obviously have&#xD;&#xA;favorable matchup here but with some adjustments from Jazz coach I can&#x2019;t see&#xD;&#xA;him put another 50&#x2B; game at road. So apparently something is occurring that is not allowing me to copy and paste the standings from my word doc...this hasn't happened before and not sure what is happening. Slon has created a google doc but that has not been updated since day 1. I like having the standings posted instead of having to go to a link to see them.
