All I have is about 5 units on the Celtics ML -400.  Yesterday when I was going around betting Orlando, I parlayed the Magic to Boston ML -400 at one casino because at the time, that was a low price for Boston.  The Magic covered so that means I now have about 5 units risked on the Celtics winning this game.  Other than that, I'm passing.

I always struggle to take dogs when I think that they are going to lose straight up. Im definitely more of a "favorites" player. I choose my spots and obviously dont play all favs. Ive had alot of success doing this. Its just my style, and Im able to see games I like more this way.

The 3 point edge that I would have here since I think it should be Spurs -4, usually would be enough for me, but in this case, the way things have been going this year in game 3's with teams down 0-2, it just isnt enough for me. If I were to make a play on this game though, it would be the Hornets -7.

Man, the bettors at Pinnacle and Matchbook keep making my New Orleans bet look bad.  I took +7 -110 two days ago and now you can get the Hornets +7 +102 at either place.

Well, no, I was just trying to think of someplace distant with a funny-sounding name.  It was either that or Hackensack, but I had already used the word "hack" in that sentence.

Chris Paul practiced with a brace on his knee (rt. I think) but appeared to be moving easily.  They just updated us on the sports news in NOLA and said he was "full go" , whatever that translates to.  Later on a "live update" from San Antone the coach said he was fine, that they had been making him get some extra rest.  Hope he plays good, especially the second half.

I think I was one of the few who actually laughed out loud when reading this (considering I hail from northern NJ).

More and more sportsbooks, both online and here in Lost Wages, are moving this Hornets-Spurs clash from 7 to 7.5  My +7 -110 is looking worse by the hour.  That doesn't mean I don't believe in the Hornets, I do.  It just means that I made a mistake by taking the Hornets on Tuesday when the MGM-Mirage sportsbooks had the only +7 in the world. 
 
For inspiratio that I won't get buried on this game, I look no further than the first round, when the Spurs rallied back from halftime deficits in both Games 1 & 2 to beat the Suns and go up, 2-0.  On the day of Game 3, hoopologists nationwide sent it in on the Suns, pushing the Game 3 line from -6 on up to -7.5.  Then the game began and the Suns got punked, 115-99. 
 
Come on, history!  Repeat yourself, dammit!
